I loved it. So great seeing Castle and Beckett together and romantic.
Very impressed at Stana Katic's non-verbal work in the wedding dress. I knew she was thinking of her mother.
During the show, there was promos for Resurrection with Frances Fisher wearing little or no makeup. Then the show started, and there was Matilda looking amazing and powerful. Wonderful what acting, makeup and clothes can do.
Clever writers, they actually got me a little scared there for a moment. For those who'll complain about the dress, just remember her smile when she first looked at herself in the mirror, that's what matters.
For me, it was great! Relationship wise every scene was awesome, but the COTW didn´t get my attention at all. And the dress, imo, has a beautiful bodice but I don´t like the poofy skirt:) About Stana´s acting, spot on as always...she´s one of the best out there with the non-verbal acting, I always loved how she acts with just her eyes!
Thought the episode was great but not awesome, a little too predictable for me. Plus, I'm a sucker for the Beckett and Castle against the world eps. Anyone else thought it was weird Beckett still has her apartment?
How many times have I been saying this...6x14 was probably the best episode of the season. It says a lot that the Castle writers are able to push out episode after episode (especially since the latter half of pre-hiatus season) that out do the previous one. Confirms that Castle still has at least a Season 7 in it.
Great episode, although I wanted them to delve a little deeper into Kate having been a model. Give some juicy fodder to Castle, more than that she turned down a spread. And, Luke Reichle is an amazing designer, but I really don't like that wedding dress. So much silver! And who wants two big tufts of material sticking out of their hips? All I could think was "what would the judges on Project Runway say about that dress?" LOL Not that Stana didn't look beautiful in it anyway, but it just didn't say "May sweeps wedding" to me.
I was hoping for juicy fodder as well until I realized she gave up this career clearly b/c of what happened to her mother. Timeline fits...
And so Castle knows not to open that wound her fiancé has closed. I thought they did it well. You saw Rick's surprised look, Kate's acknowledgment and they moved on... Which is why Kate didn't wanna have Castle know in the first place...
She moved to DC, got a place there, got fired. Yet, she got her old apartment back even though she basically lives with Castle... I don't know doesn't seem normal to me!
As someone who's watched the show since the beginning—I've become increasingly disappointed in this season. The show has lost its zing. Even season five had some "life to it." I'm sure people will call me a hater---that tends to be the typical reaction from fans when fans say they didn't like something about an episode.
But he's still Castle...so that to me means he should have been digging for a little something from Matilda - a picture maybe? - when Kate had her back turned.
If its a rent control loft, She has the money to keep paying on it. Landlord doesn't care if you are living there or not as long as the rent is made on time they don't care.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Loved this episode.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree.
ReplyDeleteAwful
ReplyDeleteRick and Kate looked good together and their interactions with Martha was the highlight of this episode. That poofy dress however was hideous!
ReplyDeletestana always does an amazing non-verbal job. she was good in season 1 and 2 but nowadays she's amazing.
ReplyDeleteStana's acting was right on. Is this what a sophisticated Manhattan girl whose wardrobe oozes style chose?
ReplyDeleteWhy do you watch the show? You always find any episode awful, lol!

Very good episode, but i really was worried on the end there.
ReplyDeleteDude, just go away!
ReplyDeleteI don't think its weird. I think she will officially give up her apartment probably weeks before walking down the aisle with Castle

ReplyDeleteLoved Kate in her dress.. She looked absoultly radiant! Just loved the whole episode..
ReplyDeleteI thought the episode before this one was okay
ReplyDeleteI just got a really baaad feeling... spring, wedding, season finale. Something bad will happen with a BIG cliffhanger :(
ReplyDeleteLoved the ep. Looking forward to spring :)
