The secret Hodgins plot twist turned out better than expected. I didn't hate it. Can't decide whether their parents were shitty for doing that or just trying to make sure both sons were safe. And I love that Hodgins wants to be involved in Jeffrey's life. And Booth had a great idea about the money. Good episode!
When is poor Jack going to catch a break? I can't recall a character who is decent, kind, thougtful and intelligent get dumped on as much as Jack. First he sacrificed all of his money without a second thought to save the women and children Pelant's drone targeted. Now he is going to go who knows how much in debt to care for a brother he just found. Why didn't Jack's parents have arrangements in their wills to make sure Jeffery was taken care of for as long as necessary? I hope Jack and Angela hit the lottery, make a fortune with the hot sauce, or somehow get back the money Pelant stole (since the psycho is now dead) because they are certainly deserving of a break.
I don't know the USA specific laws (I'm Australian), but if it still exists at federal level, felony murder (any death during the process of a felony- fraud or kidnapping)
This is my favorite season of Bones since the early years. This was another solid episode, loved the Hodgins storyline and all the connection with Booth and Brennan money's storyline, which was greatly handled. So glad the show has been renewed.
Who on earth could possibly hate this episode? It may not be your favorite but what was in there to rate as awful?! For me I really enjoyed it. The B&B money thing was no big deal but resolved and won't be mentioned again now. The Hodgins storyline was dealt with sensitively and Fisher was a great help for a change. S9 is shaping up to be their best yet IMO!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteAnd Booth had a great idea about the money.
Good episode!
It's so strange that his parents wouldn't have told him he had a brother. I wonder why they never did.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the dog walker would be changed with though.
My guess is manslaughter of some sort.
