    this is the episode that got me hooked. the pilot and second introduced too much stuff at once for me. But now the plot is moving on a bit faster.
    Very curious about Vanes motives and his power over Anne Bonny. What I did not expect that I would actually be intrigued by Flint.
    What happend to Max always remindes how happy I am to live in our times. But I really do not understand why she fully blames Eleanor. Trying to sell the schedule - it was her decision to take the gamble. Really liked how Eleanor took revenge on Vane.
    Hope the pace with Miranda Barlow picks up soon.

    I love Vane. Brute and Jerk that he is. I think along with Eleanor, those are the characters I am most intrigued by. And Flint. Not interested in Max at all.

    Well I did like Black Sails from the start but I got really hooked now when the pace of the storyline picked up. I really like Eleanor, when I first read about her character I would have never guessed she would be one of my fav. characters. Although Vane is everything I despise in the real world - I love him on screen but I perceived Vanes comment to Anne Bonny as a threat he would kill her if she moved.

    None of the characters are my favorite so far as i think all of them are written amazingly but i liked Eleanor from the very beginning, mainly because she's strong enough to live in a place where it's hard for a man to survive let alone a woman running the whole place. I am however not impressed with her decision making.
    I think everyone on that island is doing their best to survive and same is with Vane, yea he's kinda brutal sometimes more than sometimes but i guess that's who he is. I'm not the kinda person who'd like a negative character and i'm not saying i like Vane but i don't hate him either as i did when the season started.
    Yea Anne Bony was i guess trying to do something about Eleanor humiliating Vane in front of his crew like that because i guess he loves Eleanor enough to have that humiliation.
    I would like for Flint to be more interesting. he's wise and everything but not so much interesting, he's the main Character of the show and i would like to see more depth in his character.
