    It was a nice filler episode. Now that we have Elena's back story, hopefully the story will move forward faster. I really like the chemistry between Elena and Clay from the first moment they met up to now, you can see the chemistry is still there. The actors really sold it. I felt like the story back in T.O. really didn't do much but maybe it'll pay off in the next ep.

    I really liked this one, because it feels like (hopefully) the turning point to this Elena/Clay business (despite the ending). Also, I'm completely intrigued by the weird Philip side story, as well as what Daniel's play is here. The plot is thickening.

    Really great episode but again getting bored of this back and forth between Clay and Phillip. Phillip is my only criticism in the show, I feel like they are throwing him into the story to further drag out this 'love triangle' bullshit that never really existed in the novels.

    I loved the flashbacks, hope we get more of them, they showed Clays POV really well. They could have fleshed them out between 2 episodes tho, felt a tad rushed but I loved everyone of them.. maybe we will get some of Clay/Elena working together in the 2 years they were together as wolves.

    Once again, left desperately wanting more and a whole week is in the way of next weeks episode. Can't wait!

    Just sayin' I would like to go an episode without seeing Clay's butt. I get it; he has a nice body - but sometimes things are better left to the imagination.

    I don't know how long they will drag out the Phillip story. The problem with it is he's either going to have to get killed or turned, which I hope doesn't happen. I doubt she's just going to break it off with him.



    I really hope Elena will forgive Clay and just get back with him.

    I liked this ep, but I thought it was sad. So basically, Elena is always going to be mad at Clay for turning her. And I don't know how she will get past that. I thought it was sad for Clay because she was his first true love.

    They did tie the wolves into Philip's ad campaign. So that was something.

    I have the books sitting on (in?) my Kindle...maybe I should read them and find out who Elena ends up with.

    No. I find clay creepy, but I never read the books. Maybe he projects better on paper, LOL. I like Phillip a tlo more, except I don't think he's right for Elena. If they had a chance, I'd ship Elena and Logan.

    Bitten is becoming my favorite tv show, if not already is.
    I love everything about it: the backstory, the characters are all interesting to watch (all except boyfriend and his sister), the plot, their enemies who are formidable and scary due to being all messed up rapists, pedophiles, murderers. It makes it so easy to like the pack when they take out bad people, no grey stripes just black and white. Surprisingly i don't mind if the mutt guy Santos??? joins them, it would bring an interesting shift in dynamics in the house. Unless of course he was lying to them and is working with the uprising mutts. Him joining them would be more complicated and unexpected than just turning out a double agent and getting killed.
    Transformation into a wolf is not gross and messy but still more or less realistic.
    I am not sure i liked the explanation behind Clay biting Elena. If no woman ever before survived the bite, i don't think he would just risk it like that. They should have thought more on explaning it, like he lost control or bit her by accident. It would be a lot more cliche but also i don't see how you can ever forgive a person who gave you the lethal bite "hoping and always knowing you will survive" even though no person of the same gender ever did before.
    Elena walked out on them again, it felt more final this time, i guess in the next episode something truly bad will happen, to once and for all make her stay. There are only so many times they can have her walk out the door before it gets too boring.
    I liked how they make Clay the big bad mutt hunter who is so scary the mutts have to form a support group. LOL. I hope we will see either in flashbacks or the real life glimpses of him going all crazy killer on mutts, alone without Elena to hold him back. He reminds me Dean Winchester and i like it.
    Didn't feel like vomiting during their sex scene so now i know it's the boyfriend's body that disgusts me so muchm i really hope we won't have to suffer through more of him naked. *yikes*
    I especially loved how they introduced the house to us, i felt like i saw it for the first time with Elena too, even though it's the 5th episode. It looks so beautiful and has so many interesting artefacts, Clay talking about the totem and how he used to sleep next to me, describing what he could smell: i could almost picture it myself. The house seemed so magical with sunlight rays and dust dancing in them.

    Did you read the books? Did he die there?
    she doesn't necessary have to go back to Clay right away, the show is great without romance right now, only small hints and flashbacks of it, i am enjoying watching for the plot and pack dynamic, but the boyfriend and the entire Elena's life in the city is so annoying and out of place. Everytime they throw in a uselless hastily filmed scene from the city i am like jerked up the pleasant dream reminded they they still have to tie loose ends before Elena moves back to the small town life.

    In the novels the mutts break into his house and he gets hurt but not killed.. but looking at the way this is going in the show, that won't happen and its going to drag on.. and on... and on. Elena basically sleeps with Clay after 'Petes' death and they sleep with each other on and off, Phillip is injured and Elena breaks it off. Somehow I don't see it being so simple in the show now somebody is feeding Phillip information.

    As long as she and Clay are somewhat back together by episode 10 i'll be a happy gal.

    I have actually read the books, albeit a long time ago. There was no love triangle business - it was and always was just Elena and Clay. However, I can't remember if the Victor (released pedophile) and Elena storyline was in the books? I remember Elena having a troubled childhood, but turning her rapist/pedophile into a wolf? Whoa, shit just got real

    I agree with pretty much everything that you said. The only thing that I am questioning is if Jeremy played a role into why Clay would bite her. Towards the end it looked like Jeremy wanted to tell her the truth about something but couldn't bring himself to do it. It just feels like there is more to that bite then we are being led to believe but only time will tell.

    Hey you maybe right, there has to be more to the story, Jeremy looked all grim and morbid when he came to talk to her with tea. He was going to tell her something so bad that it would be enough to send her packing. obviously not the truth, i wonder what.
    I also hope there is another explanation for Elena being able to turn, it seems too contrived that she survived otherwise. They should have made the odds less unrealistic, like every female out of a 1000 or a 100...

    Elena and Clay are so perfect together and have so much chemistry that i don't even mind the boyfriend. I mean I don't take seriously what Elean has with phillip. She is obviously more into human life than into him. She is playing pretend. It could have being any other guy in his place, who happened to be human. It's obviously a triangle but one male is winning by such huge margin I don't even care. As long as his existance doesn't ruin the show's greatness going on in small town he can continue not being relevent. But is he suddenly gets more screen time then i am going to have a problem with that

    Thats unfortunate. Hopefully because it is a Tv series, they will let it play out and see how it goes. Thats why I am reluctant to watch these tv series based on books where we sort of know the end. What is then the point? That is my current issue with GOT. Once I read to the 4th/5th books, I became annoyed and have been unable to keep watching.

    i thought i saw him for total 5 min in a 44 min episode,i mean no offense,compared to clay and elena,he hardly gets any screen time,so i was surprised to see this comment.clay is more interesting,sure,what i don't understand why do people hate philip so much? coz he's human or he's meddling with clay-elena love story,just curious!!
