    Watching Vince trying his best to suppress his beast was a nice change of pace. Way too much Gabe in this episode for my liking and that ending killed me.

    I love #BatB..This episode #Redemption was fantastic...It was full of action. Everything I wanted except too much Gabe...I hope we get a season 3. We have a talented group of people that write for the show and the actors blow me away... Hate to have to wait 2 weeks to see the next episode in the drama...

    Watching Cat and Gabe together is still a big pill to swallow down, and even more now that they already slept together, but well, I guess she deserves her slice of cake, anyway... I kind of liked the episode, mostly because we're watching Vincent getting back to be the sweet guy he used to be, but the plots they're using are not exactly appealing for me, I don't understand why would Cat care about what her father says, why is she worried about having to kill Vincent??, that should be absolutely out of the question for her, I don't know, I just didn't like it, but well, at least it looks like it won't take too long for Cat and Vincent get back together.

    I thought the episode, was awesome although Cat is all over the place, she's so not into that other guy, I'm hoping the writers have a method to this madness, if Cat had been giving an ultimatum in season one she would have told, that guy where to go, one bright spot, she sure isn't over my boy V, hopefully the Gabe show is almost over, I can dream, can't I!!!

    It was great to see Vincent in the hospital connecting with his old self! It was my favorite part! I am enjoying Vincent's development these past few episodes and I wish I could say the same for Catherine.

    When she told him it was "nice seeing the old you" I thought, it would be nice to see the old Catherine too. I don't quite understand her current thought processes, decisions or actions.

    The Cat/Gabe stuff just keeps getting worse and I hope its over soon. There are so many other interesting storylines they could focus on/give time to.

    Gabe was right about one thing, there are one too many people in this relationship. Unfortunately for him, he's the odd man out. It pissed me off that the whole episode he keeps tell Cat to spend time with Vincent, and then got upset Cat was spending time with Vincent. The show is called Beauty and the Beast. Not Beauty and some douchey rich guy.

    I'm just so glad they didn't show anything from their trip to Mexico. It's ridiculous. I was dissapointed they had them sleep together after only one episode from when they actually started their relationship. I don't understand her either. Is she trying so desperately to prove to herself and others shes moved on from Vincent? I won't know what to think if she actually considers removing Vincent from her life. Who is she becoming? The whole episode it was as if the universe was telling her she belongs with Vincent and she'd ignoring it. Can't ignore that nightmare though. Wake up Cat!

    holy freakin awesome batman - OH SORRY I slipped in my geekness :D Seriously that was a fabulous episode - so see Catherine's heart struggle - wonder if now she knows which way her heart is telling her to go - like as far away from Gabe as she can possibly get - exit stage left......and the next episode looks heart stopping, freaky scary - Heavens to Mergatroid I can't believe we have to wait TWO WEEKS - ARGG!!! :D

    The real Gabe showed himself tonight -gone is the supportive and trusting boyfriend wanna be. Didn't need to know that they had romantic get away and most of all that she slept in his bed after his demand that she cut Vinent out of "their" life. Would have loved for Sam to have injected him - would have served him right to be beast again then he would remember what its like for Vincent and maybe actually have some true empathy for Vincent. The guy who made it possible for Cat to be with Gabe as he felt so unworthy of her and guilt that she has trust issues because of his actions. That's a real man, not biological but has true heart of a man.


    Really disappointed in the character of Cat these past few episodes and never more than ep 14. Her moral compass has lost its direction. I know she's been through a lot but its gone well beyond that now. Vincent chose beast over man due to pure biological imperative, what's Cat's excuse for her priorities? JT told her that Vincent was trying to go beast "cold turkey" and why, but she put the case with Sam and later Gabe's safety above what was in the best interest of Vincent - someone she supposedly shared epic love with not very long ago. That she didn't seem to have any objection to Gabe's command that she cut Vincent from her life was another shocking and disappointing moment and just hops into bed to sleep with him. Where is Cat - the take no prisoner, tough and independent woman from season 1?


    Glad she had a nightmare as I don't think the real Cat could have slept in the same city never mind bed with a man who tried to control and manipulate her. I really hope this is Cat's rock bottom and that she can prove she's "worthy" of Vincent now.

    Loved this ep., the dreaming on both parts, at beginning and at the end was great writing style. Cats off standishness with V, was evident, trying to convince herself she doesnt care. I just love the interaction between V and C, whether they are togther or not.

    I couldn't agree more, granted she's been through an emotional ringer, no thanks in part to Tess, always cheerleading that warped relationship, with that wimpy a... Ex ADA I can't stand Gabe, I still haven't figured him out but the show runners love him, I'm right there with you, he's messed up know trying to draw a line in the sand, no way would Cat distance herself from a real man like V Beast or not he's more man than that guy will ever be, he has a heart Gabe is just plastic and fake!!

    I thought it was interesting that the episode started with Vincent dreaming about Catherine, then ended with Catherine dreaming about Vincent. I also think the fact that her father told Catherine that she's the only one who can stop it is very much leading up to the mythological ties. Fantastic episode and great job by all the cast.

    despite having too much Gabe.. again!!!... the episode was great, but I'm still wondering what happened to "we're meant to be, we don't have a choice" and "who you are makes everything worth it" from the beginning of season 2 and from season 1... "


    it's also sad that what made Cat pull away from Vincent is the fact that he wasn't human enough anymore for her liking, yet every time she needs him, she doesn't hesitate to use his "beast side"... so I guess as long as it's convenient for her, it's okay to have him beast out, and that no matter what it can cost him! i wish she would make up her mind once and for all!! it's kind of selfish of her to expect him to always be there, yet only as what *she* wants him to be... oh, and I didn't like her "leave that to the real doctors"... again, she appreciates Vincent going back to what he was (hence her 'it's nice seeing the old you') but once more only when it doesn't go against her own needs or wants.


    hopefully March 3rd episode will be awesome and the real step toward a VinCat's reconciliation!! wonder who's gonna be more hurt in that "accident" and who's gonna be left crying over their loved one... I kind of hope it's Vincent, so that Cat realizes she could easily lose him... I think after everything and all his mistakes, Vincent is finally at that point again, he knows he messed up and he knows he lost the best thing that ever happened to him... let Cat reach that conclusion as well! I mean, Vincent is in her life again, but it would be nice to have her realize that he could be gone for good in a second, too... he's a beast, but he's not immortal!!

    One of the best episodes this season,So lovely seeing Vincent coming back from the darkness,@JayRyan has been beyond brilliant how he portrays each different Vincent traits.He is a wonderful actor who deserves a very bright career.Yes he is stunning but his acting abilities shine more,WAY too much Gabe and good that is wimpy nice man image is cracking under the strain of Catherine's obvious feelings to Vincent think that end dream sequence made Catherine realise she still wants Vincent in her life and more than friends....this 2 week wait seems an age what we gonna do during another hiatus #BatB #WeWantBATBS3

    amen to that... it's unbelievable what he manages to do with Vincent even when the writers kind of butcher his character, same goes for KK! they are both awesome actors and I really hope we can see more of them together (still praying for a season 3!!) or not! their chemistry is unbelievable even when they don't have romantic scenes!! they're what makes the show, not Gabe!! even if I don't have anything against Sendhill!


    loved the last scene, that tear just before we see the blood! awesome!!

    as if it's not enough to see her cozying up with the very reason she lost the love of her life, now she doesn't even blink when he basically tells her she can't see Vincent anymore!... I just don't get it... in season 1 she nearly had a coronary when Vincent asked her to stop seeing Gabe, well, more like told her he didn't want her to see the guy anymore... and he was just trying to *protect her* because he could clealry sense there was something fishy about the guy ( and how right he was, wasn't he?) but here Gabe is telling her one second that Vincent is part of their lives and the next that he has to go, all because he's a freaky insecure jealous flipflopping idiot, and everything is peachy... or at least enough for her to not mind that much and end up in his bed again... how is that even remotely okay or just possible???


    I seriously miss our kick-first-ask-question-later Catherine for 1rst season!!!

    I agree great to see the struggle. Vincent & JT are back, yea. Cats back story is getting interesting. I wonder where its going. How can we wait two weeks. I guess we will have to watch on hulu & CW. I lov S2.

    Thoroughly enjoyed watching Vincent going back to memory lane. Without a doubt he'd have made a fantastic doctor had things gone differently for him allowing him to pursue his medical profession. His character development is simply jaw dropping. ...incredible how he is able to switch back to the old Vincent.. ..again another confirmation of his immense talent. Jay Ryan phenomenal actor, really shines like the star that he is. Keeps you glued to the screen from beginning to end. Simply amazing. Deserves recognition for his talent.
    Same goes to the the lovely JT, Vincent's backbone. ..he is such a delight to watch. We want more bromance!!!!
    With just 2 episodes left b4 March hiatus. ..we want VinCat back. . .miss them so much. As for Gabe hope he disappears permanently. Enough of him already.

    and you're right... Jay Ryan is amazing... just saw re-runs of Sea Patrol and though he was already awesome in the series, it's incredible what 6/7 years can do to an actor!! I just can't picture anyone else playing Vincent that well... he just has everything, the looks, the voice, and the talent to pull whatever the sometimes misguided writers ask him to! they made many many mistakes with the show, but i'm so glad they went after him for this role!! hopefully we'll have a season 3 but if not, I really hope this is the start of a beautiful and long career for him and that he receives the recognition he so oviously deserves!

    Another Gabe-centric modest episode. And this should have been Catherine's arc . A joke

    - Welcome back to the old adorable Vincent Keller . Missed so much but you have a long way to go to redeem yourself. Unfortunately there's no time left. But If you want to be a doctor , be a doctor . A real one. Don't listen to Cat : her brain is outer space.
    - Vincent mentor was sensitive and human . I really liked the actor.
    - I feel bad for KK. Catherine 2.0 is an insult to S1 Catherine and is really turning me off. I'm wondering why the new Vincent Keller , or Gabe, should fight for THIS selfish , inconsistent, men-dependent hypocrite with double standards : one for herself , one for Vincent. I was a VinCat shipper but I don't want to see her jump back in Vincent' bed any time soon. Not after this episode . Leave her to Gabe and his apartment where she quickly moved after a miserable Cancun weekend . She and Tori have the same complex: they are unable to stand alone. Sad.
    - Gabe is an idiot with no dignity. A sheep. Boring , boring, boring . Did I say he's boring ? Any time he's on screen I switch on a different channel. Too much is too much.
    - Bio-Dad : that's all ? Now I understand why Ted W. was sarcastic about his role.
    - Sam : another psychopath in town. Who's' next ?
    - Tess and JT : Hello ? No screening time for this cute couple ? Right , it's Gabe show .
    - Tess : Poor Nina. Poor Nina. Btw she's really beautiful.Useless but beautiful
    - Dr. Keller and JT/V bromance were the only bright spots in this episode.
    - JT : a loyal, faithful , supportive friend . The voice of reason . The only , true Beauty of this show. And a Bio-chem genius : 2 minutes and he got a beast serum.
    - Vincent/Beast fighting sequence :????? How did he survive ? Is just me or the quality of the action scenes is declining ? Budget reduction ?
    - I didn't see any scar on Vincent ABS ( not complaining ) . I thought he was shot in his stomach.......
    - Muirfield and DNA experiments are back in full force. The mythology has been already thrown out of the window with bones and necklaces. Let's talk about inconsistency.
    - JT always deliver the best quotes : It's hard to be Dr. Jekyll when everyone wants Mr.Hyde ( It's hard to be Gabe when everyone wants Vincent ...)

    Amazing episode again, Jay Ryan was brilliant he just shines for me....Nice to see him as the doctor again and saving that boy. I take my hat of to the writers right now they are really giving us a richer storyline which I hope builds into this season and beyond because damn it we TOTALLY deserve a third season..Keep fighting beasties! ;)

    I watched this episode twice and still came to the same conclusion - I did not like it. I am a massive fan and when I watched Redemption I was overwhelmed by the feeling of confusion and pain. Whether it was the actors themselves projecting that or it was just me not too sure. I always love watching BATB and have found S2 absolutely fabulous until last night.

    Catherine - it's like she is heading for a nervous breakdown. Is she not exhausted from all that running away from what she feels for Vincent by trying to make Gabe 'fit' what she perceives a good boyfriend should be? Don't even get me started on the absolute irony of that statement. What happened to her mind? It's like everyone is making it up for her. Anyone can just plant a maggot in her head and she just runs with it. Gabe talks down to her like that end scene and she just takes it - what?! Sometimes I feel like shaking her and screaming 'Who are you and what have you done with Catherine?' I think maybe that is what causes me pain. How many 'Oops - did I do that?' moments are we going to get before she gets a grip? Cat is so lost and in so much pain that she prefers to through life without much thought about the consequences of her actions because if she stopped moving for a minute she would have to deal with her thoughts, her feelings and I think maybe she is not strong enough to do so yet. How else can we explain this character transplant?

    I know S2 is all about 'Who am I' and was supposed to explore Cat without Vincent and vice-versa but how do you go from losing the love of your life to jumping the next available Gabe without taking pause? Gabe of all people - really Cat? Obviously that 'epic love' wasn't as earth shattering as we were led to believe.

    Vincent - I get his progression even though he is also a little confused. He is willing to do anything to get Cat back and sometime I feel it will at the expense of another part of who he is - i.e. the Beast. If he is to be happy in the future he needs to embrace both aspects of his character and come to terms with who he is. He is a good guy, a great doctor (even though Cat thinks he's not a 'real doctor') who lost his way and is now trying to make it back. It has taken him less time that Cat to 'find himself' again.

    Sam as the baddie - what the hell is that about? I will wait for the writers to let the story unfold maybe I will get it in time.

    Gabe - don't get me started! Excruciating watching him in any scene - what is his purpose exactly?

    This is the first time I can say I am honestly frustrated BUT I still adore this show. I will however let the writers do their job (they just might pleasantly surprise me) and keep begging for S3!

    It was clear that Cat is not happy with Gabe, but seeing her discover that Vincent still love her, is priceless, it was wonderful. JT could not be better for VinCat - his support is great.
    Our sweet Vincent is back - did not kill anyone, instead, he saved the patient in the hospital. Speaking of return, look Vincent dreaming with Cat, also has no price. It's Wonderful his fight for have Cat back.
    I'm stay sad with Tess giving supporting for Cat and Gabe stay together - she always wanted Vincent away Cat, since season 1. Thankfully, in this sense, JT is the opposite.
    I hope that be last, the scenes from kisses and bed,between Cat and Gabe. I hate this.
    On balance, I loved the Episode!

    Omg, you said a mouth full, for the longest time I thought I was all by myself with the way I felt about zig zag Gabe, and with the way the show runners continue to destroy the fabric of this show in order to make it all about Gabe is beyond me, and know, Catherine who I thought was the ultimate role model, has been reduced to his little puppet, can't say we didn't see it coming,she's been oh praise Gabe this entire season, even tho V remains the hero, you can't tell it by them, I believe by so much focas on Gabe's character so went the downfall of the show!!!

    It's almost like Vincent is becoming more human and Cat is becoming more beast. She's more out of control when it comes to killing someone and Vincent is more in control. Very interesting...
