  5. Thankfully it's back next week! Know if we are getting an uninterrupted run from here on out? These mini breaks are killer

  11. Well there are 9 eps left and if they run uninterrupted then the season would finish April 29 which seems a good season finale time to me, if there is a break I imagine it would be only a one week one to simply extend the show into May.

  12. NCIS, NCIS LA, Person of Interest and Chicago Fire and The Blacklist from last night..

  13. They usually have the one week break during the holidays,so most shows end in the first week to second week in May.

  20. I think networks should pretty much always do what ABC did with OUaT this season when it comes to serialized shows: split the season into two halves with a BIG break in between, to minimize the breaks during each half. It helps keep the momentum in terms of storyline and ratings. I think a lot of serialized shows on networks like ABC and The CW have suffered from the crazy two weeks off, three weeks on, three weeks off, two weeks on... etc schedule.

I do know this is a problem because they want to take into account additional factors like the Olympics and award shows - you don't want to air shows against them, and that comes at the price of a choppy schedule, because you can't do the "two halves" schedule with all the stuff like the Olympics magically falling into the gap between them. So even if you go for two large chunks of episodes with a big break between, you'll still have to have a couple of small breaks in the middle of each half. Oh well. I just think they should really minimize breaks as much as they can, even at the price of a huge midseason break like the one OUaT is currently on.
