The Messengers - Sofia Black-D’Elia and Joel Courtney cast
Skins‘ alum Sofia Black-D’Elia and Joel Courtney (Super 8) have joined CW drama pilot The Messengers from feature producer Basil Iwanyk (the Clash Of The Titans franchise) and CBS TV Studios. The Messengers starts with a mysterious object crashing down to Earth. A group of seemingly unconnected strangers die from the energy pulse, but then awaken to learn that they have been deemed responsible for preventing the impending apocalypse. Black-D’Elia will play Erin, who despite the stresses in her life, is eager to make a new life for herself and her young daughter far away from her hot-headed ex-husband. Courtney will play Peter, a loner who was raised in a group home and is bullied constantly.

Save The Date - Michelle Trachtenber to Co-Star, Tom Bennett and Julie White also join cast


Michelle Trachtenberg is set to co-star opposite Maggie Lawson in CBS’ half-hour hybrid pilot Save The Date. Also cast in the romantic comedy from writers Jackie and Jeff Filgo, ABC Studios and CBS Studios, are Tom Bennett and Julie White. Save The Date centers on 35-year-old and newly single Kate (Lawson), who drunkenly books a wedding venue and now is faced with the task of meeting the right man in time. whiteTrachtenberg will play Hillary, Katie’s buttoned-down, no-nonsense sister who is sharing an apartment with her. Bennett plays Roger, Hillary’s boyfriend of four years. White plays Connie, Katie and Hillary’s mother

Mission Control - Michael Rosenbaum to Co-Star

Michael Rosenbaum is set to co-star opposite Krysten Ritter in NBC pilot Mission Control, a Universal TV-produced comedy from studio-based Gary Sanchez Productions and executive producers Adam McKay and Will Ferrell. A workplace ensemble set in 1962, Mission Control examines what happens when a strong woman (Ritter) butts heads with a macho astronaut in the race to land on the moon. Rosenbaum will play Bus, a handsome, jockish, stubborn and loudly likeable NASA astronaut.

Old Soul - Fred Willardto Co-Star

Comedy veteran Fred Willard is set to co-star opposite Natasha Lyonne and Rita Moreno in NBC‘s single-camera comedy pilot Old Soul. Co-created/exec produced by Amy Poehler, Josh Bycel and Jonathan Fener and directed by David Wain, Old Soul centers on a reformed wild child Nadia (Lyonne) who has a business caring for the elderly and feels she has more in common with her colorful old clients than she does with people her age. Willard will play one of the clients, the razza-mattazy Hector, a veteran Broadway songwriter who has been joyously married to Rita (Moreno), his writing partner, for more than 50 years. One of Nadia’s main jobs with Hector to help him sort through the massive amounts of stuff he has have kept over the years

Selfie - Allyn Rachel cast

Allyn Rachel has been cast in ABC/Warner Bros TV single-camera comedy pilot Selfie, written by Emily Kapnek and directed by Julie Anne Robinson. It centers on Eliza Dooley (Karen Gillan), a self-obsessed, twentysomething who is more concerned with “likes” than being liked. Rachel will play Eliza’s adorable neighbor, who is her opposite: a hipster girl’s girl and member of a devoted book club.

Damaged Goods - Justin Hartley gets Lead Role, Ben Lawson joins as Series Regular

Justin Hartley is set as a lead in Lauren Iungerich’s ABC comedy pilot Damaged Goods. It revolves around two damaged men (Hartley, Steve Talley) and two damaged women who explore the minutiae of love and relationships. Hartley’s smart and egoistic Tim is hit hard when his girlfriend and law firm colleague gets the promotion he expected to get. Childish and unable to applaud her accomplishments or be with a woman who outranks him, the relationship seems all but over — unless she resigns. He is repped by Innovative. Also cast as a regular in the pilot is Ben Lawson, who will play Michael, a smart, funny, good-natured, dermatologist.

Agatha - Christian Keyes added as Regular
Christian Keyes (Beauty And The Beast) has booked a regular role in ABC drama pilot Agatha from ABC Studios and The Mark Gordon Co. It’s a character-driven procedural about Agatha, a former convict-turned-big-city criminologist who is brought in to help local police crack a case involving a perplexing disappearance. Keyes plays tattooed bad boy Zane. Agatha knows he’s trouble — she did time to protect him — but just can’t seem to stay away. And the feeling is definitely mutual
