TV veteran Peter Coyote will guest-star on Season 3 of Perception, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Daniel Pierce (Eric McCormack) is in for a surprise when his father, James Alan Pierce (Coyote) comes to town with some stunning news. Because their relationship is filled with past resentments, Pierce is less than thrilled about the visit.

    oh boy he's probably a bit stoic and Daniel's opposite but I would have liked to see someone off their rockers just so Daniel being a basket case is justified being him being a schizo
