TVLine has learned exclusively that Sarah Ramos is set to reprise her role as Adam and Kristina’s eldest daughter Haddie later this season.

Ramos was taken off contract at Parenthood at the end of the show’s third season as her character transitioned to college, although Haddie recurred throughout Season 4 to lend support to her cancer-stricken mom. Her one-episode comeback in the Season 5 finale will mark her first appearance in a year.

  1. I don't like how little we have seen of her. She was a huge part of the show and the family. I know she is away at college but I would still like to see her on the phone with her parents or something once in a while.

  4. Haddie's storyline and presence was always compelling. Sarah Ramos is a superb actor (same goes for virtually the entire cast). Her story arc with Michael B. Jordan was unforgettable. I have been mystified as to her disappearance; did it involve a commitment to higher education? Was there a problem with the minimum number of episodes the production company was prepared to guarantee her? Did she, like Jason Ritter, answer the siren song of a pilot in pilot season, but her pilot never got picked up? I hope PARENTHOOD, which is simply the most elegantly written, produced and cast drama presently on broadcast TV, survives the bubble and we get to see Haddie return as a moving force of the younger (but not youngest) generation of this Humanitas nominated series.
