    Can't wait for this!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Is this your guess or confirmed information?

    ReplyDelete
  25. All but confirmed. Everyone (save Emma and Henry) are transported back from the enchanted forest where they've been for a year. Those are what the flashbacks will be about. They have dealings with the wicked witch there as well. She casts the curse, and boom, everyones back in Storybrooke. Some info suggests that they don't remember what happened during the year they were back in the EF, but i don't think this has been confirmed.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I really didn't hear that information! Thanks for sharing. I assume Hook isn't caught by the curse. OOOOOOH JUST 3 MORE WEEKS TO GO:

  35. Plot Description!

    Warning SPOILERS!!!!!

    "
Master storytellers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz ("Lost," "Tron: Legacy") invite everyone to join Emma Swan as she struggles to understand whether she belongs in New York City, where she has begun a new life with Henry, or back in Storybrooke, where things have never been simple. As she works to provide a stable environment for her and Henry, she learns that there's no place like home. But the question remains: where is that for Emma?

Welcome to Storybrooke, Maine, a small town that probably won't show up on your GPS, but it's a magical place to visit. Reality and myth merged after Emma broke Regina's curse, which had deprived the fairytale characters of their memories and trapped them in our modern world. When they finally regained their identities, our heroes were dismayed to discover that they weren't transported back to Fairy Tale Land. To make matters worse, Rumplestiltskin - aka Mr. Gold - decided to escalate his power struggle with Regina by introducing magic into the town. But this is our world, and magic always has a tendency to yield unfathomable consequences.

The first order of business this season was to save Henry, who had been kidnapped and transported through a portal to Neverland. But Neverland was a much darker place than one remembers, and our heroes had to face a foe more powerful than the Dark One himself - Peter Pan. After being tricked and led astray for days - and learning that he was also Rumplestiltskin's father - Pan was defeated and trapped inside Pandora's Box. Our heroes returned to Storybrooke, only to discover that Pan had switched bodies with Henry and was about to enact a curse that would have killed every living soul in town. But after discovering the switch and restoring Henry back into his body, Rumplestiltskin paid the ultimate price by sacrificing his life and killing Pan. In turn, Regina obliterated her original curse, which erased Storybrooke from existence and whisked its residents back to Fairy Tale Land, leaving Emma and Henry together back in our world with pleasant memories - but with no memories of Storybrooke or its residents, and with Storybrooke itself seemingly gone for good.

And they all lived happily ever after... Hardly!

All is not well back in the Enchanted Forest when Hook comes calling on Emma in New York City in an attempt to jog her memory so that she can once again help her fairy tale family and friends out of a desperate situation. Everyone she holds dear is in danger as a new foe emerges - the Wicked Witch of the West (Rebecca Mader, "Lost"). Hook now must enlist Emma in an epic struggle that spans worlds: with the highest stakes possible - the fate of her family. No one remembers how they were transported back or the past year they had spent back in Fairy Tale Land. But someone in town is responsible for this curse, and all clues point to the Wicked Witch of the West, whose agenda in our world is a mystery. In an attempt to break the curse, new fairytale characters will be revealed and old acquaintances will be revisited. But not everyone can be trusted.

  36. Looks like a real fun second half!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Who said Hook was Emma true love? It has Not been proven. And even if hook were Emma true love, true love kiss would not have work being that she has no memory of him. Season 1 snow lost her memory of david and true love kiss didnt work until david proved he was snow true love.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ooh, I love this! Thanks for the link. And I can't wait for the hilarity that will be Snow and David's reaction to her suddenly being pregnant (guh, so excited for this Charming baby).

God, I need the second half of this season in my life.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I didn't. I'm just saying that it's exclusive to one's children. IMO Neal is her "current" True Love, but that could change should he be the one that dies.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ity sounds pretty great! I'm theorizing that Wonderland might connect to OZ too considering the Cora revival seems underway in both shows and considering OUATiW has gone out of it's way to have allusions to Oz too, let alone the Jefferson/Whale factor and the Rumple had/has Ruby Slippers....

can it be March 9th already :(

    ReplyDelete
  43. Actually Pan was talking about the thing he loves most, not true love, which doesn't have to be the same thing.

Yes, Neal is also Emma's true love, but I wish people would quit wanting Henry to lose his dad. He's barely had a week with him, already thought he had died twice, based on what Emma had told him before he met his dad and then when Tamara shot him, found him alive after all and then had to forget he'd ever met him for a year.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Dang, that looks so good! "Bring it!" So glad they gave us a promo with actual new scenes. Looking forward to part two of this season! (By the way, I love that they're making it like two separate seasonal arcs.)

    ReplyDelete
  45. No this is what Pan says: (and Love is Love)

    " I never loved Rumple.

Well, then whose heart do we need? Who do you love?

Love can mean many things, Felix.
It doesn't just come from romance or family. It can also come from loyalty.
Friendship.Only one person has always believed in Pan."

This is an expansion on the LOVE mythology.

don't want that either. I think it's unfair to Henry let alone I think is a good actor. That's why I'm inclined to think Hook will die, as he is also in parallel with Charlie Pace.

    ReplyDelete
  46. "true love isn't easy but it's worth fighting for because once you loose it, it can never be replaced" it's a quote from season 1. I think the reason Emma's true love kiss worked on Henry is because a parents love for there child is true. So David or Snow wouldn't have worked on Emma either because she wouldn't have remember them. It was never said, ever that Daniel was Regina's true love, ever, except by herself, which as the teenager she was when he died she would have thought he was her true love. No one knows who Hook or Emma's true loves are, and I get people want it to be Neal but after all the shit he's put Emma through ? I doubt it. Lets start with the fact he used the excuse that he was a kid when he was with Emma, (he spent 200 plus years in neverland, would know what it's like to be left behind because of what his father did to him)He never tried to reach out to her once she was out of jail, who would want to see him? Considering he was the one who's crimes she was in there for? anyone didn't think so. Up until Tamara hit Emma with a pipe and shot him, he was defending her,"i need her here" blaw blaw blaw, Emma was right about her from the start, no faith. How does Emma say "i was hoping it was a trick, that you were dead" to Neal in the echo cave make anyone think she wants him in her life. I'm sure having no parents as a child, she'd want it for Henry but no matter what reasons Neal let August send Emma to prison for I would never, ever let someone like that near my heart again.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I haven't been this excited about OUAT since... I don't honestly know. Bring it on!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. The reason Emma says that in Echo Cave is because it's easier to NOT have to deal with her FEELINGS for Neal, then to deal with them (because you see she has them. Other wise it wouldn't matter if she wished him dead or not). Emma is constantly in denial and constantly avoiding out of fear of abandonment, but most the time it's herself she abandons...

Neal did what he did, because he thought it was for the best, allowing Emma to fulfill her [much needed] destiny. Emma didn't have to do to Henry what her parents did to her either knowing how it makes her feel, but she did it anyways, because again she scared to trust and take responsibility for her end of it. I think the issue is not black and white for ANY of them and they all deserve room to grow and to have second chances. That's the whole point to the series is too see flawed, condused, and sometimes mislead characters come to terms with themselves through the experiences with each other so that they can become better people and get to a better place.

Ugh... I thought they were going another way with the series after that fall finale, but they will be back to storybrook in like 2 episodes :(. Whatever... this could be better than what I was hoping

    ReplyDelete
  51. Since we didn't see their full conversation about why August wanted Neal to do what was best for Emma, it is possible that he told Neal that the best way to set her on the right path was to have her face the reality of what should happen if you are stealing.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I don't think Rumple had the slippers. He wanted them and asked Jefferson to get them for him, but he told Rumple that they had already been taken to another land.

    ReplyDelete
  53. It's been said repeatedly that Regina and Daniel were true love. On the show and in interviews with the writers and the actors. It's a canon fact.

    ReplyDelete
  54. The whole point of the echo cave was that they could not tell lie.

Emma does have abandonment issues, who could blame her. Getting adopted as a baby, getting sent back into foster care, having to do crazy things like stealing cars to get by and then her first love, gets her sent prison. No matter what reasons he thought what he was doing was right, it wasn't and they could have came up with some other plan, but no he didn't and thinking it was best does not make up for it.

He didn't ask any questions about her destiny, if he could ever see her again just prisons the only way. When Neal was told Emma was in storybook, he did what nothing. When he got the post card saying broken, again nothing, I guess running from his father was most important to him. Speaking of rumple, if Emma hadn't made a deal with him, saved a baby, they never would have found him, he would never have gone to storybrook.

Your comment about flaws, second chances, getting to a better place , goes with lots of people in this show Gold, Regina,Hook, the writers have a lot of work to do before I believe Neal is true love material. I get he has a shitty childhood , 200 years in Neverland would be hard on any body but it does not excuse mistakes he's made.

Emma family is there, her son a town full of people to save those are awesome reasons for her to be there in insert baby stanching rumple and you'll have how Neal was found.

There is no evidence, at all physical myth or other wise that Daniel was Regina's true love. None at all. There is no support of that in the show, at all.

Parallels? There's a video on YouTube "like mother like daughter" those are parallels.

It seems they need hearts to cast curses in this show but how would the break one without true love, just a heart and no magic probably wouldn't work but who knows.

My point is no one knows who Emma or Neal's true loves are and they have much worm to do before i believe there each other's.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Well that would be an important piece of the conversation to have, instead of asking someone who he knows also left Emma behind to look out for her. That lesson about stealing might carry more weight if Emma actually stole them but she didn't. Shitty lesion.

    ReplyDelete
  56. That's right. She could not lie. She wished Neal was dead so she wouldn't have to confront him, because she feels things for him. Otherwise she would feel indifferent to his existence.

Bea/Neal has YET TO make up for it (the series isn't over yet. lets see what transpires before we make heavy accusations. August bares responsibility in that too and again I stress that this a FATE oriented universe where things are going to happen because they are PREDETERMINED), because they have used the first half of the third season to focus on Rumple's progress with him via the villain they both share, sadly a relative (which may then pan over to another relative in the second half), and to prove to us that Emma is going to start working on being a better mother to Henry first (Same as Regina), because again Emma knows she did wrong by him. -But Emma is still holding herself back from truly transforming, as she used being the Savior as an excuse to not let herself be happy in a relationship.

All the characters have done horrible and appalling things. None of them, say for Henry, is innocent and with out great flaws and faults.

I'm not a viewer that's going to hold a grudge against one or two characters, but not anyone else! I'm going to except them all for whom they are and whom I hope the writers will show us who they will become. If you want to hate Neal and not forgive him, that's your business, but I'm not Emma and neither are you. I will let the writers tell the story they want to tell. And then when the show is over that's when I'll decide what I can or can't really accept.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Actually in a way she did. By going into the train station to retrieve the stolen watches. That's theft by receiving and she was caught with one on her wrist.

By Oregon Revised Statutes § 164.095(1) defines the offense of “theft by receiving” as follows:

A person commits theft by receiving if the person receives, retains, conceals or disposes of property of another knowing or having good reason to know that the property was the subject of theft.

  58. Ok I'll recant the Daniel and Regina true love, but where was it said , when in the show . I know they loved each other and we're going to get married but I missed all there true love moments

    ReplyDelete
  59. Ok ok laws a not kent to be broken but just because it's law does not make up for fact he sent her to jail.

    ReplyDelete
  60. August? No it doesn't. August had probably seen the wanted posters of Neal already and noticed that Neal had the case with him. Then all he had to do was call and tell them to check the surveillance tapes and they saw Emma. When she held her hands up is when the cop noticed the watch.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I never said Neal didn't have to work at iteither, but you did say YOU would never forgive Neal, implying that Emma shouldn't either, as if Emma or other characters, let alone a curse and a fated set of parallel universes, also don't bare responsibility. If Mary Margaret didn't send her away, if there wasn't a curse, if Rumple wasn't such a vengeful father, if Milah wasn't a liar, if Baefire would have had more experience to understand his parents, if Emma had better foster parents, if Bae never found a bean, if, if ,if if....but that's not what happened.

My argument for supporting Neal and Emma "at this point" is because Neal and Emma have already created what "True Love Creates" --more children, more true love. He's the common denominator to bring the whole family together, just as he has been the whole time.

I never said that Bae couldn't be the one that dies and that she would "end up with Neal", which would make way for Hook (although it seems they have thrown Tink into this mix), all I ever said was that it would be a shame for Henry not to be able to have it work it out with his parents, that Emma does still have feelings for Neal (other wise she wouldn't fear the possibility of being with him again so much). I never denied that she couldn't feel something for Hook either and/or that Hook my also continue to prove himself, but that all the characters have major problems have made mistakes, and that I'm not going to do this isolated and unfair finger pointing at single person or group/ships of people, because to me it's not black and white nor is the story finished.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I didn't imply anything, Neal having to work at Emma trust is a personal opinion. Should she have welcomed him back with open arms.

I also think it takes more then knocking up your 17 year old girl friend to create true love.

It would be a shame after everything they've all been through for Henry not to get to know his father but he and Emma don't have to be a couple for that.

Emma has come a long way from season1 with her ability to embrace her family and friends in storybrook. Keeping people at arms length is a defence one she's had her whole, I'm sure letting it go is difficult.

She spent 2 years in Tallahassee where there home was going to be but after 3 years without a word from Neal decided to cut her loses and move on, every year after that moving on( trying to move on)

Emma has low self esteem , it's the same with all kinds of kids out of the foster system. Hating yourself is easier then trying to figure out why everyone has left you behind. It's not the same as not taking responability for your actions she probably blamed herself for no wanting to stay wih her again different then not taking responsibility for you actions.

    ReplyDelete
  63. "Should she have welcomed him back with open arms"

Of course not, but again I'm not blaming any one of them for what transpired, because it relies on all of them.

"Emma has low self esteem , it's the same with all kinds of kids out of the foster system. Hating yourself is easier then trying to figure out why everyone has left you behind. It's not the same as not taking responsibility for your actions she probably blamed herself for no wanting to stay wih her again different then not taking responsibility for you actions."

That's where we disagree a bit, because Emma has had plenty of time to "move on", but instead she took it out on other people. I agree she has low self esteem, but there comes a time on one's life where you can either keep letting believe yourself to be a victim and become the thing you claim you hate, or you can try to over ride it and be a hero (which is when you take responsibility for yourself and stop blaming others). Obviously if we would compare her to Regina, we see that Emma also hurts herself, but she kind of lets people see that she is hurt, where Regina's vanity allows for her pain to be more directly outwards where she overcompensates by praising herself and severely hurting others (granted Regina was also brought up with magic) Emma is definitely generally a better person than Regina, because she's not overly seeking to hurt others (she does it in a private more small scaled way) and because she does believe in other people having the right to be happy.

But we could go on and on and we don't really need to. I can understand why someone would not be Neal fan in relation to Emma, but personally I can see how anyone would or wouldn't be a fan of most of the characters. I'm done. Thanks for the thought provoking conversation :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Maybe he lost them, or he eventually gets them. I don't know exactly when Jefferson's conversation is taking place in relation to when Bae leaves off the top of my head, but this is from the season 3 episode Quite a Common Fairy Bea is looking through Rumple's objects and mentions to Robin Hood that he is looking for way to travel including the Red Ruby Slippers. I don't think the writers would drop/remind us of Rumples plight for the slippers unless it's going to configure into this second half of the season.

Additionally in OUATiW the Knave steals Granny's keys to the dinner. The key chain is a small scale pair of RED CONVERSE shoes. This is a double reference to The Wizard of Oz slippers (and reality/time travel) through LOST via Desmond's time traveling experience in "Flashes Before Your Eyes". Lost (and Fringe) both referenced Oz a bit and OUATiW also references it more through the image of the DandyLion (cowardly lion) and the fact that both shows are revisiting Cora 9at different ages) - The Queen of Hearts (If I only had a heart). A lot of people also suspect that Frank L. Baum "borrowed" greatly from Lewis Carroll as both have female antagonist who travel to faraway lands, in which there is magic, brick roads, animal-people and other strange beings, and both coming of age-introspective stories
