Once Upon A Time - Season 3 - Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz wanted Jamie Dornan back

Once Upon a Time” producers revealed on Tuesday that they had hoped to bring The Huntsman/Sheriff Graham, the character played by Jamie Dornan, back for a visit during Season 3.

Due to the actor’s schedule playing Christian Grey in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” film, and his work on the BBC Two’s “The Fall,” he won’t return to the ABC drama any time soon.

“Last year, when he did ‘Welcome to Storybrooke’ for us, it was fantastic to have him come back,” Executive Producer Edward Kitsis explained to reporters, when AccessHollywood.com brought up the now big screen hunk, during a sit down with TV writers. “He’s a friend of ours, he’s a friend of the show and unfortunately, this year, he goes right from the movie to ‘The Fall,’ so there was no – because they were shooting [‘Fifty Shades’] in Vancouver, we were hoping to…”

  1. Aw, I'd love to have him back for a flashback. Maybe next season, when he's not so busy?

Still disappointed Jamie chose to do Fifty Shades of Grey, though.

  2. We deserve to have one Red-centric episode and one episode with Huntsman/Graham flashback.

    D-E-S-E-R-V-E!

  3. Imagine the Sheriff back and competing with Hook and Neal for Emma. That would be Amazing, Emma and Him really had great chemistry I was shocked they killed him off. But Adam and Edward can only blame themself they lost a diamond.

  4. I can't blame him though, he's not gonna wait around for an off chance that he might appear 2-3 season later.

  5. LOL, the love triangle doesn't need to become a different shape.

  6. Oh, not that. I'm disappointed he chose to appear in a horrible movie based on horrible books.

  7. Too little, too late. They won't bring him back full time. They screwed up with Graham and Ruby, a huge fan favorite. A one time thing and still not enough Ruby won't make me come back to this show. It once (pun not intended) was full of potential, but now it's just a mess.

  8. It would be nice to see him in a flashback again. For me Graham falls in the category of characters that are cool, have potential but I also have to see more of them in order to say,I love this character.
So where we left Graham,I was okay with him,and I would like to have a flashback, but I won't be gutted if we don't get one.

  9. Yeah, I think any of the current options beat her dating a dead guy.

  10. I'd personally have loved to have seen more Ruby/Graham scenes. Shame that Meghan and Jamie went off to act in other roles, but I personally can't fault them at all. Even though I dislike the 50 shades books, it will do really well for Jamie in terms off publicity - even if the film flops, he'll be know. And The Fall is actually a REALLY good show. As for Meghan, Intelligence is ookayy. But seriously, after how Adam and Eddy treated her/and her character during season 2, can't blame her.
Same goes for Sebastian Stan too, thought I'd LOVE for Jefferson to return too.

  11. it`s better this way i mean why have him back only in flashbacks¿? he could`ve have a great storyline but they kill him, it`s their fault... im pretty sure after he finished with the Grey movies they are going to ask him to come back... The same with Ruby she might not be dead but c`mon we all miss her and apparently they dont care

  12. Lol no her current options are shit.... And I say this as a person who wanted to like them. But frankly, none of them deserve Emma.

  13. His role on The Fall was probably a bigger opportunity than a C rated tv series.

  14. They say this in every interview. And...?

It would be cool if he came back because him and emma had really good chemistry and then she would have been with him and she would have been more conflicted now about hook and Neal and omg it would have been a love square ahaha I'm lame but at the same time that would have been cool 🙈🙉🙊

  16. Oh, Idek about that, but still the movie is probably going to give him some more exposure than either of the series.

  17. Jefferson would be perfect for Season 3 (I mean, he's perfect in general, of course, but...ahem.) BUUUT he was involved in that entire Rumple/young Regina scene back in early season 2 with the magic slippers & the "wizard". So for the entire Oz storyline Jefferson is sort of exactly what's needed - personally I think the Cowardly Lion character would fit him especially well, considering his interactions with Regina & Emma up till now.

  18. Well, there's always the Swan Queen option hehe. If everything else fails, go gay. About 50% of the fandom would be ecstatic, the other half would be furious. And 100% would be surprised.

  19. Regina and Emma have the most interesting relationship on the show, but they are still my Notp. Regina was still responsible for Emma's awful childhood, and as much as it is an important step for both characters for Regina to gain redemption and Emma forgiving her, I would feel very uncomfortable if they overlooked all the bad parts of their relationship and hooked them up romantically. Hence my original comment that all of Emma's options are terrible; they've all done things I could never look past, for Emma's sake.

  20. Jamie needs to come back to be Emma's love interest. Her other options are so horrible, they make me miss Graham and what he and Emma could have been :(

  21. If Graham came back, the competition wouldn't stand a chance. I want him to come back.

I understand, but he's not going to be too picky since he's not exactly a high profile actor with a lot to choose from, this was the biggest opportunity for him since his role in OuaT.
