NCIS - Season 11 - Finale will write in Ralph Waite's death

“[Showrunner] Gary Glasberg and the writers are working on something special to address the passing of Ralph Waite in the season finale,” says a CBS spokesperson, “to honor both the memory of Ralph, as well as the character of Jackson Gibbs.”

    Wonder whether Bones will address Ralph's death this season too or wait.

  2. I would have been perfectly fine if Waite's death wasn't written in until season 12. I understand their decision though, and I am curious to see what they will make of it. Wonder what it means for Tony's arc.

    With Bones, I don't care when they address it as long as they do. Seeing as Pops was such an important part of Booth's life.

  6. When Larry Hagman passed away in 2012 the writers and cast members were devastated by this news that the writers had to come up with a way to honor his character J.R. and did an amazing and emotional funeral scene on Dallas that brought me to my tears :(


    I think David would wanna make a funeral scene for his dad character and plus it would give much respect.

  7. Ok good I was worried they go the second darrin route. At least will have a normal acknowledgement of pappy Gibbs passing in some semi logical mannor .
