Pounder will play Dr. Wade, the Jefferson Parish Medical Examiner, who is described as being “as eccentric as she is smart,” “worldly, intuitive and incredibly connected to Louisiana.” (Though this pilot will be shot well before Sons starts production on its final season, if it goes to series, Pounder may have some schedule-juggling to do. )
