"Wait until you see how it ends" Not sure if this is some overhyped promo stuff or if we're really in for a big conclusion. Usually, when they're promoting the ending of an episode, it really is a big ending (see 9.24 and 10.11).
Anyway, looking forward to NCIS returning! Hoping this is really a high-stakes episode!
One off NCIS episodes rarely do have massive endings. Of course, it could all just be a promotional thing. I remember the CSI season 12 finale promo said "An ending you'll never, EVER see coming" and I saw it coming from the first 10 seconds of the episode.
Yeah, you're right. Promos tend to overhype or exaggerate things. And yet it always works to pique my (and presumably other fans) curiosity, even though I (and other fans) could end up being highly disappointed.
Yeah. I always enjoy promos but when they do that I immediately like the episode less. If I'm told something is unpredictable, or unforgettable, or something like that and it's not, I'm disappointed. And it reflects poorly on the writers because it makes it seem like that's the best they can do, even if they've done better in the past.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

But this isn't a two parter...
ReplyDeleteThe fortune cookie bit was funny.
ReplyDeleteExactly! And since the Parsa storyline still has ramifications, I don't really think this ending will. But you never know...
