With How I Met Your Mother set to tape its final episode in less than two weeks, co-star Alyson Hannigan has been tapped for another CBS multi-camera comedy. Hannigan is set as the female lead opposite Tom Papa in the network’s high-profile pilot More Time With Family, executive produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon and written/exec produced by Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith. Based on the stand-up of Papa and the experiences of Damon, More Time With Family centers on Tom (Papa), a husband and father making a career change to spend more time with his family. Hannigan will play Tom’s wife Cindy. 20th Century Fox TV is producing.

ReplyDeleteCBS has been ordering pilots for a lot of family comedies which seem offbrand for them. I doubt this will be ordered to series.
