#2 is a bit annoying as far as the writing in this show - why does the organization not seem to really protect the nation's "most secret weapon" as such - that guy obviously wasn't cleared to be aware of the existence of Clockwork (even though he knew the theories behind the Dr's work) - so why have him in there or Gabriel for that matter, using the chip? I get that the scene is supposed to be an impetus for Gabriel to start questioning himself, but it just seems flimsy written this way...
