  1. I know that this is ridiculous to ask because the plotholes on this show are huge but why haven't we seen Vincent's family reacting to him being alive? Why haven't we seen Vincent going over to them? I know that that is not exactly exciting TV but I was invested in the old Vincent's backstory and it seems that the writers/creators have completely forgotten. I'm disappointed with where the whole series has gone...but I keep hoping it will reverse course...

  2. EXACTLY!!, that's what I thought right after he stood before the cameras to announce he was still alive, I thought well his parents are going to have a heart attack!! they're going to run to the hospital, or at least after he showed up on TV, they would try to meet him again, I don't know at some moment, but no, nor Vincent Neither his relatives care about each other.

  3. When the show first aired, I was surprised that BATB's creators went with the "Vincent's 2 brothers died on 9/11" route. I thought it was a bold move and I could understand why Vincent joined the military as a response to his brothers' deaths. But then Vincent comes out of hiding and there is not ONE mention of his parents -- who thought that they lost 3 sons! -- or his nephew -- who Vincent rescued in one episode! -- reuniting with Vincent? Really?!? Frankly, when the writers/creators moved away from the old Vincent to this macho/assassin version of Vincent, they completely negated the Vincent that we (and Kat) fell in love with. It was such a jarringly different version of Vincent that I don't know how we expect Kat to still want to be with Vincent. Call me crazy, but I'm routing for a happy ending for Kat...by herself. Or reuniting with her sister, who the writers have also conveniently forgotten about!

  4. I know the show has some plotholes, but If Im not mistaken his dad and 2 brothers are dead, if someone is alive would be his mother, she could be in nursery home or something I dont know, but I guess they are investing more in the mythology than the backstories this season. Hopefully we will know more in future episodes.

  5. His parents are deceased (according to the pilot episode) and so are his brothers. The nephew is still around and Vincent recently saved him so maybe he will make an appearance.

  6. You're so right she so wasn't happy with that introduction, in fact it downright pissed her off, and I'm right there with you I love this show too!!!! It's going to be an exciting episode!!

  8. Kind of weird that Catherine totally blew off that Doctor's assumption of her being Vincent's girlfriend and totally changed the topic when Vincent turned to apologize for the Doctor's misconception. Wonder what was going through Catherine's mind at that time and poor Vincent, left standing alone.

  9. Oh that's right I just re-watched the pilot and when Cat and the other detectives are researching about his personal information, Cat said that his whole family had deceased, so I apologize, I guess we got confused because of what Jay said in comic-con about Vincent's mom.

  10. This show is full of plotholes and inconsistencies... 1. If he was brainwashed, how does he remember his doctor/teacher? 2. No one has reacted to his public announce... The woman he almost had sex with, his nephew...etc.

Is it really so hard to think through the whole show before writing?

  11. Oh, that was the first thing I thought too. It's the Swede, Scary guy!

  12. wow...Cat looked a little peeved there when the good doctor thought she and Vincent were boyfriend / girlfriend...lol You can tell the way she cut Vincent short that Vincent noticed it too.

  13. I agree with everyone that her reaction was less than enthusiastic, I mean if Catherine doesn't like being called Vincent's girlfriend she should stop hanging out with him so much.
