  10. Nolan from Revenge and Other (Morgan from Chuck)

  11. Claudia- Warehouse 13
    Kenzi- Lost Girl

    ReplyDelete
  12. Mozzie from White Collar without a doubt! He's just hilarious! Jajaja

    ReplyDelete
  13. Mozzie by far is the funniest for all the comic relief!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Rick is a partner not a side kick to Beckett. But he is very funny! However for Castle, Ryan has the best funny lines.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Gus is a straight man for Psych he does not get good lines. However, Lassie on the other hand has a few.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Tazmin has better lines than Kenzi

    ReplyDelete
  17. He is her partner, but at points he does behave like a sidekick.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Other - Felicity (Arrow) and the it's a toss-up for me between Artie (Warehouse 13) and Monroe (Grimm)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Chloe from Smallville.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Just because Rick quips a few line does not relegate him to side kick.

    ReplyDelete
  21. There are so many funny sidekicks - I don't know who to pick. On of the list - Stiles - he can do the evil smirk and say a snarky line with the best of them.

  22. GOD Stiles makes me laugh. I've never seen someone who actually gives 15 different expressions in one scene and he acts really well. It's not easy to act like that and Dylan does it with ease. He is easily my favourite! He rocks and makes the show hilarious. Team Stiles all the way!

  23. I didn't think of Felicity after seeing your comment. I agree 100% she is absolutely funny and her rambles are frikkin hilarious. Easily one of my favourite characters! Thanks for mentioning her!

  24. From the list, Stiles and Knave by far. In fact, the only reason I am watching Wonderland is because of Knave and the villains. The two protagonists are far too bland that I need Knave snark. As for Stiles, well he continues to be one of the very best things about Teen Wolf. Off the list, there are so many it is hard to choose. Fiona and Sam from Burn Notice, Monroe from Grimm and Mozzie from White Collar spring first to mind. Johnny from Graceland comes next. Then Dorian from Almost Human and Watson from Elementary. Metallicar/Baby on Supernatural ranges from sidekick to home to traveling armory, so she's a sidekick plus.

Other choices: Wallace on Veronica Mars, Chloe on Smallville, Turk on Scrubs, Doyle on Angel, Hodgins on Bones, Alec on Dark Angel, Astrid on Fringe, Richie on Highlander, Shawn on Boy Meets World (although Cory might have been his sidekick to be honest), Alfonso on Silver Spoons, Birkhoff on La Femme Nikita, Agnes on Moonlighting, Jazzy Jeff on Fresh Prince, Cockroach on The Cosby Show, Bull on Night Court, Meg on Trophy Wife, the Lone Gunmen on The X-Files, Xander on Buffy, Gabrielle on Xena, Ethel on I Love Lucy, and of course, Robin on Batman, the first person I think of when I think TV sidekick.

How come this does not have Kenzi from Lost Girl? She triumphs pretty much the entire list. Thus first vote goes to Other.

    Now for second vote:
Hate "Mr Nice Guy" Stiles with passion for all the insensitive things he says and does that show narrative just excuses him for.
Never cared about Glee nor any characters on Glee.
Dropped OUATiW within three episodes for being unbearable.

So that leaves Willow and Nolan.

Willow is without a doubt better developed character, but she is not exactly "Funny" character - more like depressing and tragic. Nolan is less developed and less complex, but outright hilarious. Since the question is "Which is the funniest", the second vote goes to Nolan Ross.

So according to you, he is a sidekick in his own very show? How about no.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yeah, "according to me", he is a sidekick when Beckett and him are in the field.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Nolan - razor-sharp, wry wit you just can't compete with. Even his puns are to die for.
Willow - in the early seasons of BtVS, one of the most adorable characters on the small screen. Her nerdiness, shyness and lack of confidence were amusing and endearing without ever entering "annoying cliche" territory.

  33. Great choices. :)

  34. Hard to chose, out of what is listed Stiles from Teen wolf.
Not on the list: Kenzi from Lost Girl <3

    ReplyDelete
  35. Monroe from Grimm!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Cho from Castle. Such a dry humour.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Cho is from The Mentalist. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Austin B. really is one of the best things about BATB.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Des Courtney from Republic of Doyle!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I had to go with Other! I would've voted Willow, but she's not always "funny" She has some good one liners, and funny facial expressions, but "funny" isn't her character...So with that said let's see off the top of my head...

    Sheldon, Howard, Amy. (TTBT)
    Jack (Will and Grace)
    Felicity (Arrow)
    Schmidt (New Girl)
    Ellie (Cougar Town)
Josh and Sally (Being Human US version)
    Pam and Lafayette (True Blood)
    Caroline (TVD)
    Castiel and Crowley (SPN)
    Russell (TTP)
    Angela (Bones)
    Mike Weston (The Following)
    Carl (Mike and Molly)
    Pacey (Dawson's Creek)
    Seth (The O.C)
    Sawyer and Hurley (Lost)
    Wesley and Lilah (Angel)
    Drusilla (Buffy and Angel)
    Giles (Buffy)
    Ichabod (SH)
    Chandler and Phoebe (Friends)
Matthew and Barb (The new adventures of old Christine)
    George and Kramer (Seinfeld)
    Sam (Glee)

I feel like i'm missing some, but that's all i can think of now. lol

  41. …I saw the page heading before I saw the choices and said without hesitation "Stiles". I suppose Felicity is funny also, but in terms of who is the funniest, it's Stiles for me.

    ReplyDelete
  42. yeah pack thinking ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  43. This comment *-* I totally agree-

    ReplyDelete
  44. I only watch OUATiW and Glee out of those, so I picked Knave and Kurt. However, John from Sherlock is hilarious and really should've been on this list.

    ReplyDelete
  45. From the list: Nolan & Knave are both really funny!
Other: Harrison & Abby from Scandal
    Monroe from Grimm
    Fusco & Shaw from POI
    Espo from Castle
Silas was SO funny in TVD!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I came here to say Stiles, but once I saw the poll and saw that Willow was included

I have to go with WILLOW, pure gold humour at its finest. Allyson Hannigan just got the character so well and is naturally comedic.
