ReplyDeleteMy choices were Alaric and Damon, Elijah and Elena, Klaus and Damon, Alaric and Elena, and one other that I can't remember. It could have been Stefan and Elena. I'm rooting for both Delena and Stelena to be over for good. If there's a new doppelganger out there, bring him on.

Wow, so many choices... At the moment I think my favorite scenes are between Caroline and Stefan. They have a friendship that's pretty cool, and they've explored it a bit more this season. I also really enjoy(ed) the scenes with Damon and Alaric. I think that Ric was Damon's only real friend.

ReplyDeleteI thought Klaus was cursed using aspects of himself. Didn't someone say once that The Original Witch was supposed to have used a vampire, werewolf, and human? That's why everyone thought that the doppelganger curse was a failsafe that The Original Witch created when she cursed Klaus.

ReplyDeleteFirst Esther used Tatia to turn her family into vampires. Once Klaus was a vampire he ate someone and killed them thus triggering his werewolf gene. Mikael then had Esther put the hybrid curse on him (which she also used Tatia for and may have even killed her).

Out of the ENTIRE SERIES?? Wow, damn...Ok oh boy, that is tough. Well let's see, I already have two. which is Delena, and Dalaric (Oh how i miss Alaric) For obvious reasons of course. The last two, i really had to think about. I voted Rebekah and Elena, b/c I LOVED the fact that Rebekah was Elena's only freaking enemy on the show really. Rebekah was just so forward and upfront, and challenged Elena every chance she got. My last vote, i put OTHER, which i'm sad to say wasn't an option on this poll, I thought Matt and Elena.. They don't have many scenes together nowadays. But i absolutely love them as friends. I love their talks, Matty can always see right through her, and she goes to him for everything she's feeling. Things she couldn't express to Bonnie or Caroline (Especially in season 3). They're soo comfortable with each other (regardless of being exes). And let's face it, Matty blue eyes, is adorable, and for Elena, he's like her voice of reason. I really think he's the glue that holds the group together. I really hope they give him more of a storyline before this season is over, b/c i enjoy Matt a lot. And the fact that he's still human, makes me love him even more. It just shows how strong he is, to overcome everything that has happened to him. I hope nothing happens to him before the series is over b/c i would be truly sad about that.

Damon + anybody else. Nobody has better chemistry with every single character on the show. Whether it's love, hate or something in between, Damon's scenes are always incredible.
ReplyDeleteDamon has chemistry with almost everyone, but i'm going to vote Dalaric, Bamon and Delena. They are my favorites along with Damon, Deredith, Denzo and Daroline.

ReplyDeletePaul and Nina have AMAZING chemistry, so I like Stefan/Elena (in the first three seasons, that is, before Elena turned into some slut) and Stefan/Katherine. I really like Klaus and Caroline together, too (not as a couple, he's too bad!) and Stefan and Caroline have some serious chemistry, too.
ReplyDeleteHow anyone can vote for Damon and Elena is beyond me, whatever chemistry they used to have, it's looong gone. I don't know what's up with Ian, maybe he's just bored with TVD, but his acting in season five is merely disappointing and his scenes with Nina are plain awkward.

ReplyDeleteYeah, they're sluts too. Damon is a slut too. Stefan is a slut too. But they always have been, whereas Elena used to be kind, sweet, caring, selfless, brave and always prepared to put someone else before herself. Damon ruined her, whereas Stefan brought out the best in her and I'm not saying that because I worship Stefan (even though I do think he is MUCH MORE interesting as a character than Damon will ever be) but because it's true. If you can't see what Damon did to her, how he turned her into a horrible person, then maybe you should check your brain.

Stefan has nothing to do with Paul, though. Paul is one of the most amazing actors of this generation and the only reason why he had been overlooked almost every single time, is because a bunch of horny teens think Ian is "hotter". Stefan is probably one of the most challenged characters on the show, the changes he went through... All of the others (especially Damon) have more or less stayed the same and it's such a shame for Ian, because he's a great actor and by being Damon, he just can't show it. (Besides, the bad boy goes good plot is sooo overused!)

She was also manipulative, stubborn, abusive towards her brother's life. That's why i never liked her very much. Damon didn't ruin anyone, he is not responsable for ANYONE.
ReplyDeleteI was talking about the acting. The journalists voted based on the acting, especially because apparently Silas was so similar to Stefan. I don't think Ian is so hot, i have other tastes, i prefer Klaus or Alaric, so i don't think it's that. Really? Everytime Stefan has some development, the writers makes him turning back, they do a regressive story arc. "but everyone would kill to have their own Stefan in real life, whereas no one would ever even consider a Damon." Based on? No thanks. I don't need a hypocrite who doesn't admit who he is, doesn't take his faults, blames only his brothers or the blood of Elena, lies since day one about who he really is. I don't think this kind of character/person. But as i said, everyone is free to like what they want. I'm just not here for slut shaming or hateful comments about Ian who has nothing to do with Paul's failure who the journalists saw.

ReplyDeleteSeeing the poll results - places #1 and #3 in particular - makes me lose whatever faith I still have in the human species.
Tessa said something about the blood of the doppelganger being good for spells (hence why she used their blood earlier this season). Esther also said something to Elena about her blood being a powerful binding agent for spells (hence she used Elena to make Alaric into a vampire and previously Tatia to turn her family).
