    This is exactly why I like Stefan. Even though Elena and Damon's relationship hurts him, he still encourages her to not give up on Damon. If only that brotherly consideration extended both ways.

    I hope there's a good reason for breaking Matt's neck again but I doubt there is. I don't mind the whole "Damon pushing Elena away" thing because Stefan is exactly right about him. He's perpetually full of guilt and self-loathing. I just wish he wasn't so damn self-destructive. Let's keep the personal growth train rolling. Please?

    No. Matt is in a wine cellar with a blue plaid shirt on. Damon snaps the neck of a person with that same shirt on and then that person falls to the floor in front of a wine rack with a bottle breaking beside him.

    The person with his neck snapped is very likely to be Matt.

    If Caroline considered doing anything with Klaus "a bad thing," then it's not really a Klaroline deal. Someone said that Caroline "needs some lovin'," so she'll probably just use Klaus the same way she always has. I still don't understand why she would have to "face the consequence of her actions with Stefan and Tyler." I can see why Tyler would be upset about her doing something with Klaus, but what would Stefan's problem be? He's too understanding, and I still can't see why Elena would care too much either. Maybe the shots we're looking at in trailers are about different things. There's no doubt in my mind that Caroline will do something with Klaus, or start to anyway, but maybe there's more to the story. It also looks like we're looking at four episodes in one trailer. How would there be time in one episode for so much drama? Personally, I'd rather see Klaroline moments come and go and be regretted than have it as an endgame relationship. Candice Accola said herself that Caroline is actually sick of Klaus, so either he shows up in a dream or Caroline is really desperate to get some, or both, and Caroline is going to do something else that's bad.

    The person who drops down unconscious / dead is wearing the same shirt as Matt (and, presumably, IS Matt). However, in the scene with Damon when he reaches out and snaps someone's neck, that person wears a dark shirt. They just very cleverly cut both scenes together.

    I had to watch it a dozen times until I realised it. :) That was some very clever and deliberately misleading editing there! (Makes you wonder what else you can't trust from the promo... I, for one, wouldn't be surprised if Caroline's confession was unrelated to Klaus.)

    It's starting to look like Damon and/or Enzo might kill Aaron. The trailer doesn't just cover the 100th episode, and Aaron is supposed to do his best to make amends in the following episode. If Damon kills Aaron, that will be the final nail in the coffin for Delena.

    I'm starting to think it has more to do with Stefan, and other things will come in later episodes. Caroline's wardrobe in one scene and a couple of trailers are misleading, but Caroline is being WAY too self-righteous about Elena and Damon for there to be a big Klaroline to-do. Either someone was dreaming or something else was about to happen to stop the kiss or keep it from going further.

    What when did that go both ways? How about when Damon killed Bonnie's mother so that Stefan did not have to. Stefan was supposed to be one to kill her, but Damon didn't want Stefan to be hated.

    Or when Damon helped Elena track down Stefan the entire half of Season 3. Or when Damon withheld the information from Elena that Stefan was killing people, up and down the Eastern seaboard. So she could keep the image of her "perfect" Bf. Or when Damon returned Elena's necklace to her for the umpteenth time telling her that Stefan deserved her. Or when Damon told Elena Stefan was missing and helped Elena to get him back when the tomb vampires wanted revenge. Or when Damon kept telling Elena to call Stefan with the problems she was having with the hunter's curse, and even though Damon knew there was tension, Damon wanted her to fix it, and told her HE called Stefan. Or when Damon told Elena that Stefan didn't drink the people blood...yeaaaa there's absolutely Nooooo way Damon could have any caring consideration for his brother. For there to be a two way street would be shear madness.

    It would be interesting if Caroline somehow got involved in the body switching and Elena ended up in Caroline's body while Katherine ended up in Elena's. I don't know how that would explain the spoilers about Nadia though, unless Caroline ends up in her body. That would be really complicated, especially for Tyler and Matt. It would explain, however, why travelers were after Elena in the trailer. Maybe they knew she was actually Katherine. Maybe it's Elena in Caroline's body when we see her do something crazy with Klaus. I wouldn't blame the girl after what Caroline put her through. I just can't see Elena hooking up with Klaus for ANY reason. Then again, maybe I'm making this more complicated than it actually is. I'm going to submit a question for spoilers/scoop in a couple of places about what on earth is going on in the Caroline/Stefan/Elena dynamic in episode 5.13. Maybe if enough of us ask, someone will get an answer. There are too many conflicting articles floating around the internet.
