    It's so refreshing seeing Stefan being...himself again. Without the emotional Elena baggage. It seems like has has, for the most part, moved on. Of course he'll never move on from Elena completely, but the last few episodes have shown that he's moved on just about as far as he can until he finds a new relationship. Which I actually hope is soon. I'd like to see him sweep some woman off their feet.

    Wow, is that Jeremy getting a plastic bag over the face? Even if it's not, it's probably still a good idea he get out of the Salvatore mansion for a bit while Damon is off the rails, lol. Lockwood mansions has rooms to spare according to Tyler.

    It looks like Jeremy, yes. Whether he actually gets killed remains to be seen. We're getting thrown a lot of curves lately with character deaths. A major character is supposed to die, and Jeremy is a major character. I'd rather see him go than Elena. I like Jeremy's character, but Bonnie can already see the dead and Jeremy has been resurrected too much. Maybe the writers/producers are finally clearing out the extra characters. The question is, if Jeremy dies, would Elena have any reason to stay in Mystic Falls if she's brought back? I would leave that town and start over somewhere.

    So this episode is all about Enzo. I like Stefan as a badass. I'm pretty sure, though, that he would have to be pushed really far to want to take Enzo's head off with a shovel. Either Jeremy or Bonnie might get killed, and there won't be anyone to do a resurrection.

    Steroline is one of the most polarized ships I've ever seen. There are just as many people who want them together as there are people who want them to remain friends. Personally, I ship them HARD, but I can understand why people want them to stay besties. I think they would have a pretty incredible relationship if they gave it a shot, and are good enough friends that a breakup wouldn't ruin their friendship in the least.

    I came here to see if Bonnie saw Elena pass through her since she is sort of dead, but they didn't give it away. Bonnie is so strange Kat didn't pass through her but she just up and left with Jeremy without asking questions. How convenient.
    Looking forward to how they will explain bringing back Elena from the other side.

    I think they should stay friends. Contrary to popular belief, boys and girls can be just friends, good friends even. Even if Stefan by some miracle gets over Elena, he'd always be looking over his shoulder looking for the next doppelganger, Caroline doesn't deserve that. Their friendship though, is something I could see lasting for centuries. :D

    I don't know, if he does again, I don't think it'd have anymore emotional impact on viewers if they are trying to go for shock value. It's like Sam or Dean or Cas dying on Supernatural, it's almost a given they'll be resurrected if the show isn't canceled, so why stress it? lol

    Lotta plotholes. Recent ep had Elena attack Nadia and the traveler but NOT KILL THE TRAVELER.... uh... why? That makes no sense to me. I know she's a good girl and all but the traveler was practically doing worse then murdering her, she was giving her body to Kat to do with as she pleased...

    Exactly i understand that they needed Elena to fail to play out kat in her body storyline but couldn't they make it less lame? Elena was looking like a total idiot running through forest away from PEOPLE WHO WERE STEALING her body giving them oppotunity to finish, it was supposed to be dramatic with flashbacks but i kept rolling my eyes.

    Yes, boys and girls can just be friends. Does that happen more often than it doesn't? No. First impressions don't allow that at first, since so much of a person's first impressions are based on looks. Caroline was attracted to Stefan pretty much immediately. When you establish that you're attracted to someone, it's very difficult to course change. Impossible? Of course not. But oh so very difficult.

    If your personalities don't match they can change your attraction, but as we've seen they match pretty well. If one of you finds the other irritating in some way, that can also change it, but Steroline seem to enjoy each others company quite a bit.

    There needs to be some kind of catalyst to friendzone someone. It's easy to miss but we all do it, and it's incredibly easy to knock someone out of the friendzone even if you still consider them to be just a friend. Emotions just aren't that simple. People can have feelings for someone without even realizing it.

    I believe both of them see each other as just friends, but I think they knocked each other out of the friendzone a long time ago and didn't realize it. If it seems like all they need is a little push to cross that boundary from friends to lovers, then they're not in the right position to just be friends, and these two do genuinely seem like a good push could change things for them.

    Also, it doesn't help that they really are each others type. Type also plays a role in how effectively someone can be friendzoned. If the person you're attempting to friendzone is in fact the type of person you look for in a relationship, it becomes a lot more difficult.

    Of course, and I have to say this because if I merely imply it people seem to miss it entirely, there are exceptions to every rule. Not everyone is like that. But I can tell you with absolute certainty that friendzoning someone is not what most people naturally jump to.

    Caroline and Stefan have already established that they're very attracted to each other. We've seen how naturally they talk to each other. We've already established the type of person they usually go for, and the two would be a pretty good match.

    And even if we ignored those things about human nature entirely, this is the CW. A network widely known for hooking up pretty much everyone.

    Could Steroline just remain friends? Definitely. Are the odds in favor of them just being friends? Not really.

    That's kind of what I wondered. Bonnie should know Katherine isn't dead. I'm thinking that they will put Elena in another body temporarily until she can go in hers again. OR they can be really ballsy and let Elena "die". That would change the dynamic of the show and be an interesting turn. I don't dislike Elena, but it sure would be interesting. Probably won't happen. But they said a major character would die this season. Could be Katherine I guess.

    I guess Bonnie won't see Elena on the other side because if she did, this entire storyline would be over in the first 5 minutes of the next episode and there would be no Stefan/Kat dancing since Bonnie would just tell eveyone. On the plus side it means Elena is not dead, on the down side i don't think she will find a way to tell everyone what's happened. I think she will stay dead and kat will somehow blow her cover and once again everyone will rush to figure out where is Elena and how to save her. For once i wanted her to be badass and not just damsel in distress.

    But at the very least, Bonnie should see the witch who was double-crossed by Katherine after doing the spell. I'm can't imagine that she would keep quiet on the other side, after what Katherine did to her.

    I think Stefan said that Bonnie and Jeremy went on a trip to see Bonnie's mother. Bonnie might question the fact that Katherine never passed through her. Damon might force Bonnie to question that when he and Enzo get violent with Bonnie and Jeremy. Elena wouldn't be seen on the other side because her spirit was supposed to be sealed inside Katherine's mutilated, now rotting corpse. Katherine and Nadia thought of the fact that Bonnie or Jeremy would see Elena if she just died. So I guess Elena isn't really dead. She's just a traveler in the worst place possible. If the sealing spell broke somehow when the traveler who put Elena in that body got killed and didn't get paid, then Elena would be searching for a new body now. I doubt she'd go back to her own.

    I have a little theory about Enzo. It's a little crazy, i admit it but earlier i read a spoiler on E! Online, talking about the next big bad, who's a traveler who has big plans for Stefan and Elena. So what i'm thinking is that maybe Enzo is working with said traveler. Maybe he has a mission: manipulate Damon and drive him away from Stefan and Elena... Crazy i know but that's the first thing i thought about when i read this. And i'm convinced that there's more to Enzo so...

    I hate how everything that happens with Bonnie seems to be off-screen. Even back in Season 1 when her grandmother died she was missing for a few episodes to "deal" with it. They've often said she was off with her dad (who we didn't even meet until Season 4) and now she's off with her mom.

    Great comment. I agree with all this. I mean, i love Stefan and Caroline's friendship, but yeh, i would love if they turn to be something more too.

    The chemistry is amazing, they feel very confortable with each other, and there's also a stablished and strong friendship.

    For me, it's a win and win situation. It's good if the relationship stay as a lovely and amazing friendship, but it's also very good if they go to the next level.

    btw, i love how Stefan and Caroline are always there for each other. In the bad and in the good moments.

    Clever how the writers had Bonnie leave with Jeremy to visit her mother. This is to avoid explaining how Bonnie has not seen Katherine yet. I imagine when she returns; there will be some explanation.

    It occurred to me that Enzo might want to kill Jeremy because Jeremy is the son of Augustine Dr. Grayson Gilbert. Damon wouldn't go along with that, so Enzo might manipulate him into getting Jeremy alone.


    Wouldn't it be weird if, on top of what Katherine is doing, Silas went into Stefan's body when Stefan killed him and has been impersonating Stefan ever since?

    See but that's the thing, it doesn't matter where Bonnie is. One a supernatural being is dead, they pass through her. Even though she's off screen, (ugh i hate when they do that) I feel like She should call them. Or SOMEONE in MF should call Bonnie, and be all hey yeah Katherine's dead. And then they could put two and two together.
