    Elena was dating the guy who killed her ex-boyfriends sister (Elena & Matt did date before Elena got with Stefan) and the guy who killed her own brother. Matt had a fling with Rebekah after he killed her brother (remember Finn?). This is a show with vampires - so it's all morally ambiguous. Remember how Caroline was in on the plan to kill Mason Lockwood? Yet she still dated Tyler after she sat back and knew that Damon was going to kill his uncle.

    I'm a little worried, lol. On one hand, she'll have much less ground to bash Damon and Elena being together but on the otherhand, Elena is dating the guy that raped Caroline afterall and most of the men on the show have had sex with Rebekah and they've never really had to apologize for it or suffer any long term hate from their friends - usually Elena or someone will scold them in one scene they'll go "lolwut, I'm not your boyfriend" then she'll apologize the next. Somehow, I don't see it going down that way if Caroline and I can't help but feel it's a bit sexist.

    I'm kind of wondering how surprised he'll actually be. Since he came back to town after breaking the sire-bond in Season 3 he's been kind of jealous of Klaus and seemed to think something was up with him and Caroline.

    I love how much hate Tyler gets for being the only person on the show with some kind of grip on reality....he's seen as being a jerk for leaving Caroline when really he did it because he wasn't ok with the terms of him "being allowed" to return to Mystic Falls, and Klaus "letting him be with her"....self respect is hard to come by on this show, probably why people don't recognize it when they see it

    Jr, people will do anything to justify their faves or their ships. Caroline claims that Tyler was the love of her life, but then she goes and screws the person that ruined his life? I don't get it. Yes, Caroline is free to do whatever she wants. But if you don't think that's pretty shitty then I feel sorry for you. Caroline sleeping with Klaus completely justifies him leaving because just like he said, he is only living because of Klaus' terms. Who would want to live like that?


    And trying to justify it by saying Elena is with the person who killed people she loved, well guess what? It's f*cked up in that situation too. Just because it's happening in one situation, it does not make it right in the other or neither to be exact.

    I wasn't even that mad at Tyler when he left Caroline. I was sad ..sure.. but i totally understood Tyler! Klaus killed HIS MOTHER (If someone would kill my mother i would react the same! I wouldn't care about anything but revenge!) and destroyed his life.. and let's not forget that he killed 12 hybrids .. who where Tylers Friends!! But Caroline didn't even gave a crap about them. She even flirted with Klaus so he would hand over a Hybrid so they can kill him for Elena. How can she expect Tyler to just let it go and live a happy life with her after everything that Klaus has done to him, AND be okay with the fact that the only reason he can be with her is because Klaus allowes him to?

    Klaus has done plenty of of shit to Stefan too. But i still think that Stefan would be the one who understands Caroline. When they had their whole "put Klaus in Rebekahs Body and dagger them both"-Plan Caroline and Stefan felt kind of sorry for Klaus. Stefan has (just like Caroline) seen a human side in Klaus too. So i guess he could be the one who defends her..

    I think Elena herself would probably have a mild reaction. Katherine might have already slept with Klaus, but she would manufacture an overreaction to maintain her cover as Elena. That would explain why both Stefan and Tyler will be unhappy with Caroline.

    Stefan won't rush to defend Caroline if "Elena" appears too upset about the information. Caroline is supposed to "face the consequence of her actions" with Stefan and Tyler. They're both going to be unhappy, but probably for different reasons, unless Stefan happens to get a little bit jealous himself.

    I'm pretty sure it's going to be Katherine in Elena's body causing any kind of problems that Caroline will have. That being said, why would Caroline tell Elena, or anyone else, about who she slept with? If she can't handle people's reactions, she shouldn't be talking about her bedroom behavior, so to speak. There's really no reason to discuss it anyway because it was a one-time thing to make Klaus leave her alone for good. If Caroline should apologize for anything, it's the fact that she can't keep quiet about who is having sex with whom, and how miserable she made Elena. As for people being hypocritical for getting upset about it, Caroline herself is a hypocrite.

    Who said she did??? Again, missing the point, but not surprised. It's about how disgusting is that Caroline screwed her abuser. Simple. As. That. How much of a hypocrite it makes her after all the heat she was giving Elena about Damon. How she claims someone as the love of her life and then goes and sleeps with his mother's murderer.
    If Caroline can have an opinion and feel a type of way about Elena and Damon when they slept together, rightfully so. Then Tyler has a right to feel a type of way about Caroline sleeping with Klaus.

    Tyler has every right to be hurt. She slept with the guy who killed his mother and made his life hell. If Tyler slept with Katherine peope would be asking for him to be burned at the stake.
    And Caroline deserves all the crap she will get especially after becoming the show's biggest hypocrite.

    Elena is her friend and she probably thinks she'd understand the most considering Elena's love life parallels her own with Elena dating the bad guy that's made all their friends lives miserable - Damon. It's also probably suppose to highlight the fact that she has in fact been being overly judgemental since she harbors feelings towards Klaus. That's the whole POINT.

    I know he has a right be hurt, I don't deny that but he also gets no say whatsoever over who she sleeps with from now on. Also, most of the boys have slept with Rebekah and Stefan even most recently slept with Katherine and seemed to rekindle some of his past feelings for her and he wasn't burned at the stake for it. Elena snapped at him, he didn't take her shit, and she apologized. Less then that for Caroline would only be SEXIST.

    I think he would too but also, Matt might be on her side a bit too considering he shacked up with Rebekah but he's in a really tough spot because Tyler probably moved back in, lol. Even though the house may be in Matt's name, I think in that clip Matt remarked Tyler is the one that still pays the bills. Regardless, he is Tyler's friend too, he likely won't want to take sides.

    I can see Stefan attempting a "come to Jesus" moment to Caroline but ultimately, I think he'd respect her decision on the matter. He always has for Elena and that's including her hooking up with his own brother.

    Elena screwed the guy that actually physically raped Caroline, so Caroline has a right to not be Team Delena for the rest of her life based on that sole fact alone. Just like Tyler has the right to not be Team Klaroline. But they broke up, he has no say in who she sleeps with. NONE.

    Elena knew what Damon did to Caroline and that didn't stop her nor did it stop Stefan from recently sleeping with Katherine despite all that chick did to the whole lot of them. According to their drinking game, she's responsible for everything bad thing that's ever happened to Damon and Damon didn't throw a hissy fit over the sex. It wasn't his place to judge. Elena tried and Stefan didn't take her shit because it wasn't her business. The same is said for Tyler.

    Yes, but if there's the slightest chance that the information would hurt Elena, then a good friend would keep it to herself and just stop being judgmental. All Caroline needs to do is change her behavior. There's no need to make everyone else suffer with her because of the "bad thing" she did. It's true that the truth comes out eventually, but really the only one Caroline would need to tell is Tyler, and that's only if she decides to get back together with him. Otherwise, there's no point in telling anyone. I have never once seen Klaus, throughout the history of the shows, blab about who he sleeps with. Ironically, he's more mature than Caroline on that subject.

    just because Tyler doesn't have a say, doesn't mean she's not a shitty person for doing it....I used to love Forwood but they've ruined that quite nicely, hopefully he gets mad but doesn't leave town because that has become quite a crutch for the writers when they don't know what to do with Tyler

    Me too! I think Caroline will tell Katherine first (thinking it's Elena). Wouldn't it be kind of funny if she expects Elena to totally freak out but instead Katherine says something like "really? how was he? i always wondered.." and Caroline thinks Elena said that? I would love that lol
