    I want them to get over all the Kat in Elena drama and just to reveal whose body Kat will end up in. That's the only thing i am curious about. Will they bring in another doppelganger or find a way to save kat's old body or simply kill her off permanently with a dagger?

    It looks like Elena will definitely come in and out of awareness in her own body. That part where she said, "Oh my god" and dropped a glass looked like one of those moments. If I were Elena, I'd get the heck out of Mystic Falls. What friends does she have there if while she's fighting for her life back, no one knows the difference because Damon is obsessed with revenge, Caroline just made herself a backstabbing hypocrite, Stefan cares too much about Katherine (who took Elena's body to begin with), Matt and Tyler are partying, and Bonnie and Jeremy are having possibly illegal sex and keeping weird secrets? It doesn't look like Elena will get her body back in this episode, either. I think Caroline is arguing with Katherine in the promo pics for Episode 13, which is when Caroline is supposed to take Bonnie and ELENA to the "Bitter Ball." People still might not catch on even after two episodes.

    I wouldn't be surprised if it's Elena who ends up in a different body. Katherine appears to be the fan favorite, so Nina Dobrev might end up just playing her, unless the body we saw burning was empty and the fight will rage on inside Elena until Elena wins.

    That was the first thing that I thought after watch the episode. I would love if they could find another doppelganger, but I don't see this happening. Unfortunately, I think they are slowing killing Kath, as they did with Alaric. And I am probably the only one who wants Elena to get her body back. I guess people got so used to hate her, that no one realises that she became a great character this year. Now she can fight for herself, stopped with the "it's all my fault" thing, actually knows who she loves... Let's give her a break, haters!

    Kat maybe fan favorite but Elena is the main focus of the show. First and futhermost Julie will always take care of her and only then of Katherine's storyline. Maybe Kat's body will be saved somehow, i don't think it's a coincidence she "didn't start to sag" and haven't gotten wrinkles
    If it was up to me Stefan and Kat would end up together, Elena woud turn back into human and find another Silas human doppelganger and the series would end up with them starting a human life together. Damon can sacrifice himself saving them or whatever... it would balance out him after all the bad things he did to go out saving two people he loves the most.
    I'd love to see Nina dobrev on TO as either elena or kat. I don't think it's likely. She is probably fed up with CW and since they all signed on 6 years i think she will try to explore other options. I want Elena with Elijah more than Kat and Elijah.

    Depends on how Kat will be acting. It will be super hard for her to act nicely towards Damon who she is supposed to welcome back with open arms as Elena after the hallucination scene with her dead family. So if she can't help herself and starts cozying up to Stefan they will catch on pretty quickly.

    I never hated Elena and of course she is getting her body back. I am looking forward to her fighting for her own body. At the list of things that Kat ever did to Elena it has got to be the most despicable thing yet. I really want Elena or anyone to kill Nadia off. She is pissing me off and it will be a nice punishment for Kat.
    I am in the minority but i think they should have killed kat off in last episode. They gave her such a grand exit, i even teared up a little bit, even though i am not a huge fan of her. And if they are still killing her off slowly like you said they will ruin her in the process. (like they ruined Alaric) After last episode if she does die, it will feel a little underwhelming.

    After everything, I don't think Elena and Elijah will happen, even though they could have been soulmates if the writers allowed for it. As far as I know, Nina Dobrev isn't unhappy with the CW, and her career is quite successful right now. The only problem is how hard she has to work playing two characters. If one of those characters could be either eliminated or played by a different actress, that might open the door for other possibilities for Elena. Things seem to be changing right now. Elena is fighting for her own life and the people around her are more harmful or indifferent than helpful. I suppose anything can happen. Elena could die next week. That's what I'm worried about.

    I agree! They gave up on saving Katherine's human side on this episode. And I really wanted her to be with Stefan at the end. Now it's pretty impossible.

    From what I saw in one of the promos, no one will suspect what's really happening. Who would think that Katherine would take over Elena's body after the act that she put on? Even Damon bought it after a while. What Katherine did was too crazy for Elena's friends and family to even think of. Damon will think that Elena has fallen back in love with Stefan because he dumped her, and Enzo will distract him from figuring out what's really going on. Katherine was underestimated. Elena is on her own for now.

    I wouldn't say it's impossible. Stefan has been getting way too close to Katherine. Elena broke his heart. I know I've said this before, but if he had a choice, Stefan would try to save both of them but he might already be too attached to Katherine to let anything happen to her, especially after that flashback scene. She seriously manipulated him.

    We will find out how much Nina likes it on CW after TVD ends. She is used to being the leading lady now, it will be hard for her to play second fiddle to Rebekah or any other actress on any other show.

    Elijah and Elena could be so great together...sigh...well at least there are always fanfics ;)
    Don't worry, Elena is not dying. I don't think she will even die in the finale of the series. Her haters are vocal but killing her off would be like killing off Marissa Cooper. It would have sunk TVD.
    Kat is only good in small dozes.

    It's possible but i think they will remain in the dark only until the end of next episode. Kat will give herself out by trying to find her own body too desperately and Elena will keep fighting, there is a scene where she is in handcuffs?

    Elena and Elijah could be so perfect together. *sighs* Well at least we can always read fanfics.
    Don't worry about Elena dying, like ever. I don't even think she will die in the series finale. It would be too depressing. And despite the fact that Elena's haters are very vocal and loud on the internet, killing her off would be like killing off Marissa Cooper. Kat is only good in small cute dozes. There is no way kat can carry series out all by herself.

    Actually I didn't start to really like The O.C. until Marissa Cooper was killed off. I was sad to see it end because Marissa was the source of way too much drama on that series.


    Personally, I hope that Katherine gets killed off. She's gone way too far this time, and it would be awesome if there was a great big twist that had something to do with the Originals' presence in Mystic Falls. Klaus and Rebecca had a stake in getting rid of Katherine too. Of course that's a pipe dream. Sadly, it looks like Klaus was only there to wrap up unfinished business with Caroline and he probably won't return to Mystic Falls. Rebecca seemed to only be there to see Matt. Elijah must have stayed behind to watch over Hayley because he doesn't care about anything else right now. If she has to save herself, Elena might remember the spell that Katherine used on her and end up putting herself in someone else's body. Another obvious solution is using a dagger to get Katherine out of Elena's body. The problem with the dagger is that it was last seen in Nadia's possession. She might be too smart to let it anywhere near Elena, who wouldn't know how to use it anyway because no one told her about the daggers. Both Stefan and Matt kept that to themselves when they should have been more worried about what it could mean. A lot of stupidity and treachery has gone on this season. If Elena gets killed, Bonnie might contact her upcoming witch friend for help resurrecting Elena in a different body. Another possibility is that someone will give Elena a cure for The Cure after she's put in Katherine's body. That would be interesting.


    A BTS photo from Episode 14 makes it look like either Katherine or Nadia will get killed off in that episode. Someone is going to have a flashback of time that Katherine spent with Nadia during her early childhood.

    Right now Elena is on the clock because if Kat does something to her own body she will be gone for good. All Elena needs to do to stop the clock is to kill Nadia and her traveler helper. Nadia can't really stake her since Kat is in there too so Elena should just pick a piece of wood and go for it the first chance she gets.
    I don't think Kat is getting her body back any time soon.
    Rebekah and Elijah were only in the episode because it was the big 100th.
    And it makes sense none of the originals actually made it to Kat's death bed because if they did how would she steal Elena's body with Klaus looming over her smirking or Elijah holding her hand until the very end.

    Haha the banter. And omg, it would've just been bittersweet if Katherine would've just died last night. I love Katherine, but when it's time to go it's time to go. If Elena's Gonna be fighting with Katherine, over control of her own body, and they're gonna make it into some, Me Myself and Irene, shit then they better make it funny, so iI can enjoy it. I really hope Elena kills Nadia.

    Well I do. I don't want it to be all torturous when she's physically fighting her own body. And we've already scene Katherine and Elena throw down, so I wouldn't mind skipping the fighting in her head.

    Bonnie must figure out that Katherine isn't really dead pretty quickly, right? Dopplegangers are supernatural and all supernatural deaths pass through Bonnie so when Katherine doesn't surely she would figure it out.


    I find Katherine being in Elena's body horribly predictable - this show used to thrive on being unpredictable but it's really its way a bit. Seriously hope this story arc doesn't last very long and the move Katherine into another body, or have her die.

    Elena has no reason to go to New Orleans. She doesn't like any of the Originals and she's probably thrilled they're gone. I could see Matt visiting Rebekah or Caroline going to see Klaus but I don't see why anyone else would cross-over.

    Bonnie did see Katherine at one point, and I think everyone was drunk that night. Maybe Bonnie will remember the tiny detail of Katherine never crossing over, but the question is, will she remember it before Elena ends up in another body? That's what it looks like Nadia will try to do. It's hard to say whether Nadia and that traveler will put Elena in Katherine's old body and kill her. Nadia only said that the traveler would complete a spell and Elena would be "gone forever." That could mean a number of things. Elena and Katherine can't keep sharing a body. The fighting would never stop. TVD isn't big enough for both Elena and Katherine anymore. It can still be "The Vampire Diaries" as long as someone writes in a journal. I'm pretty sure Stefan does that. As long as Nina's still on the show, it probably wouldn't matter who she's playing. It seems that villains make shows work these days.


    I thought I read somewhere that if a body switch isn't pulled off, then a character will leave the show for good. What Katherine did wasn't a body switch, and I can't see Elena getting killed off. If Elena doesn't leave the show, then Katherine will have to be killed off, which I don't see Julie Plec doing in spite of her hints. I don't think anyone is happy with the current story. There are too many characters on TVD as it is, and someone saw fit to bring Tyler back without a proper explanation. I hope the next episode sheds some light on his presence and what writers are prepared to do to make room for Katherine. In the latest promo, she openly admitted to who she was while in Elena's body. I think everyone will find out and still let Katherine stick around for some reason. Maybe Katherine and Elena will somehow come to an arrangement that will lead to Elena walking away in a different body. That could be the only way she can save herself. I can't see her wanting to be around Katherine or anyone else in Mystic Falls after everything that's supposed to happen in the next episode. This would solve the problem of doppelganger drama. If Elena becomes a passenger, then she can be a traveler and learn to practice magic.

    I would imagine that the pain Bonnie feels when someone passes through her would be fairly memorable despite the alcohol.


    it would certainly be unexpected if Katherine ended up with Elena's body permanently - however I don't think that will happen. In my opinion, that would be too drastic a change for them to consider, at least on a permanent basis. I could see it happening temporarily, with Elena somehow ending back in her own body but that's a bit "been there, done that" with body switching.


    Also, there is no way the other characters would be okay with Elena being in another body - they wouldn't let it go and the story line would drag on.


    I remember the article you were talking about! I wonder if Nadia will leave the show for good? It wouldn't surprise me if Katherine ended up as a passenger in Nadia's body by the end of this arc of episodes, only for her to switch again (off screen) and return as a completely new face - it would also give them time to cast a suitable actress - it takes a special girl to be able to pull off Katherine Pierce!
