Okay, so the kiss thing absolutely is Stefan and Caroline.

ReplyDeleteStelena can't happen yet. As to be a matter of fact I would be super pissed if it happened any time soon. Stefan also deserves the chance to be in a loving relationship with someone other than Elena long before they ever get back together.
ReplyDeleteAs for Klaroline, before that happens I think Caroline needs to be in a relationship that doesn't follow her pattern of going after bad boys. I would like to see Klaroline happen too, but I think Caroline needs to be absolutely certain first. And so far, she's been burned by bad boys over and over again. Lets see her go for a nice one for a while.
Sounds like Stefan & Caroline will kiss.
ReplyDeleteI'am not sure, since the sentence states that Caroline will have to face the consequences of her actions with Stefan and Tylor. Therefore, it sounds to me that whatever she has done, neither Stefan nor Tyler are happy about it. So it could be connected to Klaus.
ReplyDeleteIt's strange how people have come to the conclusion that Stefan can't love anyone except Elena based on...what exactly? A short fling he had with a slightly unhinged Original and a one night stand with Katherine? I'm not following that logic.
ReplyDeleteBased on the fact that we all know the love triangle isn't over and he'd take her back. He told Lexi in the Season 4 finale that he'd take Elena back in a heartbeat and just last episode even Katherine said something like "you'd never look at me the way you'd look at Elena, would you?" and Stefan didn't even bother to disagree with her or anything so I think Katherine was correct.
ReplyDeleteHe hooked up with Rebekah sure but he certainly doesn't love her. He may kind of like her but they had no shot at a legitimate relationship on the show.
I think Klaus has a lot on his plate right now with Hayley and the baby and all the stuff going on in NO. I also think Caroline needs to some more time to grow and find herself - so it's just not good timing for them at all right now.
ReplyDeleteThat's probably a good idea. I stopped watching The Originals because I can't stand the Hayley/Elijah thing, along with other stories that keep getting recycled. I'm not sure about Stelena, but considering the fact that Klaus' child was put in danger because Caroline had a fight with her boyfriend, I don't think klaroline was ever going to happen. It was just something entertaining until Klaus moved on.
ReplyDeleteI never implied that Stefan and Rebekah were a thing. Also, what Katherine said to Stefan is not evidence that he can only love Elena. I believe it's evidence that he can't move on with someone who looks so much like Elena.
ReplyDeleteMy point is that people are basing their conclusions on assumptions. Stefan simply hasn't been given the chance to fall for anyone else.
Elena saves herself. Yes! I've been waiting for that girl to start standing on her own. It looks like Caroline will kiss Stefan and sleep with Tyler in the 100th episode. I almost feel sorry for her. If the word "consequence" isn't a typo, it looks like Elena will be upset about Caroline's behavior with both of them. I have a theory why, but it's too crazy. I'll be glad to see Aaron again. I figured he might have to get a job after abandoning the guy who controls his trust. I wonder if Elena's life-threatening situation will involve Tyler. Part of me hopes that Klaus brings Davina with him to Mystic Falls when he shows up.
ReplyDeleteThe producers said that they're going to keep Stefan's love life interesting while the love triangle continues in the background. Stefan and Elena's feelings for each other are probably a doppelganger thing, and it doesn't necessarily mean that they can only love each other IMO. Stefan thought long and hard before leaving Elena. I think their fated relationship has already run its course. Lingering feelings are just an obstacle to overcome while they move on with their lives. Maybe Stefan and Elena need to get better closure. I wouldn't rule out the possibility that they'll get back together in the future for a very short time. On this particular subject, I choose to believe the part of Julie Plec's statement where the doppelganger stuff might not mean anything.

ReplyDeleteBut Stefan was with Katherine first. Long before Elena was born. I always thought he had transfixed his feelings for Katherine (who he declared in 1864 that he was in love with) onto Elena. I think Damon did the same thing. Now though it seems like Stefan will always fall for anyone who's a doppelganger of Amara.
ReplyDeleteWell, the spoiler said that characters are gonna kiss for the first time (Stefan and Caroline presumably) and then one of them freaks out and finds new love interest. Hence Stefan isn't happy about it, Tyler isn't happy (although I find it reeeeally random that he just comes back). And confession to Elena is that they shared a kiss, since she tells Elena about Katherine & Stefan in 5x11.

ReplyDeleteConfessing to Elena and upsetting Tyler could also be that she hooked up with Klaus. Don't forget that Klaus killed Aunt Jenna and Mrs. Lockwood. Not sure why Stefan would be upset with her except they are good friends. Can't wait to find out! The TVD writers usually don't disappoint me. :)

- Aaron gets his own subplot? That's a load of crap. Give Bonnie or Jeremy something to do first.
- The Matt subplot seems cool.
- Giving Elena a chance to get herself out of trouble for a change? That's a welcome surprise.
On the actual language of the description, I think Aydrian and ChrissyD are taking something that's meant to be obtuse overly literally. Consequences doesn't mean "having to explain yourself to", telling Elena means awkward feelings for everyone involved.
ReplyDeleteAlexandra: Fans have nobody to blame but themselves. Paul Wesley and Candice Accola had a nice scene in Season 2 and it's been a discussion ever since. I'm okay with it, because it gives her something to do that isn't being an insufferable busy body or moaning over Tyler, which is worse TV at this point than anything they've got Elena doing. Stefan probably needs a legit love interest that isn't played by Nina Dobrev, and there's chemistry there.
Enzo won't be around forever, I can feel it. Caroline has been flirting with bad since she started flirting with Klaus. It's true that there are too many supporting characters, but Augustine and everything related to it are taking a front seat right now. I like the Matt and Nadia idea. BIG thumbs up obviously to your last point.

ReplyDeleteThat's what I was thinking too. In the promo pics, Katherine is listed as being off in the background wearing what I now know for sure is Nadia's dress, not Elena's.
ReplyDeleteNo, no, no. Her actions WITH Stefan and Tyler. She's going to do something with both of them that will have consequences, or maybe only one big consequence when she confesses to Elena, do you know what I mean?
ReplyDeleteI think they do need new characters. Stefan, Katherine, Elena, Bonnie, Caroline, Jeremy, Matt and now Nadia (and Tyler I guess is coming back?) sounds like it should be enough of a main cast but Bonnie, Matt & Jeremy don't get much screen-time and aren't in all the episodes. They need someone to mix things up though I guess so they're got Enzo & Aaron coming in to fill the gap that the Originals left (and then Silas/Tessa left).
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted them to explore Caroline's darker side. She is a vampire and it seems like so far she's always repressed the "bad" stuff.
I agree with your last point about Caroline. Maybe getting her hands a little dirtier will stop her from being so judgmental and hypocritical.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the amount of recurring guest stars. It just irks me when the show decides to put them front and center when there are series regulars who are being sidelined for extended periods of time.

ReplyDeleteIf Stephan and Caroline kiss, Caroline will freak out. I am sure she will be the one to distance herself. Stephan is more mature than Caroline and will be able to handle the kiss. I am sure Caroline will be the one to distance herself. And I imagine she might hook up with Klaus. When he leaves back to New Orleans, Caroline will leave the door open a bit with Klaus. She will have to explain to Tyler and Stephan what she did???? THis is a theory. What do ya'll think?
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to figure out why Caroline would kiss Stefan to begin with. Something would have to be seriously wrong with her thinking for her to do that, and I don't think it'll be just about needing "some lovin'." Maybe Stefan will initiate the kiss.
ReplyDeleteFor me the whole Augustine plot with Wes, Aaron, Damon and Enzo is just not interesting. But that's just me. I would be happy to see a good mystery and a cool, strong, big bad, but looking at the things ahead, I don't think that's the case this season.

As for Stefan/Caroline, I think both of them needs time to spend alone, single, do some inner journey, grow a little, I don't know. Especially for Caroline, I don't know why the writers always feel like Caroline HAS to be with someone. Give her AND Stefan something not related to romance.
I don't even wanna imagine a Caroline/Stefan kiss right now since Stefan has his hands full with Kat and Caroline with Tyler/possibly Klaus.
From what I've read, there's going to be more than one big bad, and Damon will be among them.
