Sorry, Bonnie. That complaint against Katherine and her supposed tomb has no traction. Grams got herself killed because she unilaterally decided to double-cross everyone including you.
Oh. I don't watch Arrow so I missed that. I tried watching the pilot but couldn't get through it, I just don't like the guy that plays the Green Arrow. He's really stiff to me.
Yeah, I've read that complaint from others in the past so you're not alone. Anyway, I think you can continue looking forward to seeing these everyday until the episode airs.
Some peeps really like him, the show seems to be pulling strong in it's second season. I don't want to rain all over their parade, maybe he's better in later eps. Or our opinion is just different. Potato, Po"taht"o /shrugs
It's been awhile since I've watched those eps but wasn't it Damon that forced them to open it in the first place? To get Katherine who he thought was in there, true, but if she HAD to blame someone, Damon seems the more obvious choice.
Yep. Damon was the one who wanted to get into the tomb. If Grams didn't double-cross everyone she'd still be alive right now. She got Stefan trapped in there and Bonnie insisted Grams reverse what she did to get him out and she died doing just that.
It worked so obviously they had the power. The power wasn't the issue. She confirmed to Stefan that she never intended to break the seal. Grams' intention was to trap them in an effort to protect Bonnie from vampires. It was doing the spells back-to-back that was too much strain for Grams. If she had did it right the first time (instead of double-crossing everyone) she wouldn't have gotten herself killed.
Bonnie's Gram lied because she didn't really want to open the tomb to let the vampires out, so they just opened the door, essentially, but didn't break the seal. When Bonnie realized Stefan would be trapped in there, she forced the issue with Grams for them to do another spell breaking the seal (at least temporarily, which turned out to not be so temporary), then Grams died. It's one of those things where many had a role in the events, and many played a part in the outcome, including Grams and Bonnie.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteYeah he is a little rigid. I don't know why they cast him?

ReplyDeleteI thought it was because her and Bonnie didn't have enough power to open the tomb that Damon & Anna (as well as Stefan) were forcing them to.
