  1. Okay, that's too much. Regardless of how Caroline feels she should be supporting Elena instead of celebrating the situation. Not only is it incredibly tacky but also extremely insensitive toward her friend.

    ReplyDelete
  2. So the BIIIIIIG 100th episode. Celebrated with Carolines quieking noise and some breakup talk.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I agree but everything about the episode is kept secret. That's why they're showing the least interesting stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Klaroline, mo' relationship talk, Caroline quieking

let's just rename this show into 'The Shipper Diaries' already

  5. Caroline is wearing the same thing as in the scene where she's supposed to kiss Klaus. What a hypocrite, unless Candice Accola's quotes are accurate about that ship and Caroline is mad enough to flirt with Klaus and then slug him. Or maybe a phone call about Katherine will interrupt them. It just seems more and more likely that Caroline will make a move on Stefan, if for no other reason than to deter Elena from getting back together with Damon. Has that E! Online kissing blind item been figured out yet?

  6. I've always thought Caroline's issues with Damon had more to do with the
fact that he used and abused her back in Season 1 (which Damon has
never apologized for - they've never really discussed it at all) than
the fact that he's a "bad" guy. Stefan is just as much as mass-murder as
Damon is but he's always been nice to Caroline so she likes him.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I completely agree. Besides, it would be incredibly hyprocrite of her if she does hook up with Klaus later...

    ReplyDelete
  8. I've always felt the same way. Caroline has never been able to get past her personal experience with Damon. To her, he's always been the guy who abused her and that's all he ever is in her eyes no matter what he does. Because of her unresolved situation with Damon (which I really think the writers should finally tackle head-on) she's always trying to make her Damon issues everyone else's Damon issues.

  9. It wouldn't be the first time that Caroline has been hypocritical. I'm more concerned with Caroline choosing to celebrate Elena's misfortune rather than supporting her friend. I wish her friends would finally call her out on her behavior instead of giving her a pass all the time. I was proud of Elena last season when she kicked Caroline out of the Salvatore house when she started behaving like this.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I really want to kick the shit out of Caroline right now. She is unbelievable. I love her but i sooo want to punch her.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Every time Caroline gets like this, she pisses me off. Did you notice how everyone was being supportive to Damon and Elena, EXCEPT for Caroline?? Smh, she's ridiculous, "Break-up Breakfast" Give me a break.

    ReplyDelete
  12. It's been one of my biggest issues with the show. In one hand, i can understand why she hates him. I mean, he basically abused her but in the other hand, and you explained it perfectly above, she wants the others to share her opinion. I really wish that instead of holding on to her hate and being disrespectful to her best friend (because she really is in that clip), she would face her issues and her hate and have a big confrontation with Damon. It's the only way (at least in my eyes) for her to exorcise these demons.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Okay...I'm usually the biggest supporter of Caroline's hate for Damon since her feelings toward him are totally justified. And yes, Damon lovers, her hatred is ABSOLUTELY justified. BUT I do think she needs to tone it down...a lot. I'm giving Damon a break because he's doing a totally unselfish thing for Elena.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Amen. I wish the show would lock those two up in a room for an entire episode so they can finally have it out.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Her feelings toward Damon are definitely justified. My problem is Caroline's behavior toward Elena and her unrelenting need to make her Damon issues everyone else's Damon issues.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I'm almost certain she would get past it if Damon gave her a genuine, heartfelt apology. But he hasn't and he probably never will. People sometimes forget that from her point of view, he's a ruthless monster who abused her. He may have proven himself to a lot of other people, but he hasn't even tried to prove himself to her. An apology would go a long way.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Getting an apology from Damon may seem like getting blood from a stone but it's not like he hasn't had a positive impact on her life either. Just off the top of my head, Damon is responsible for saving Caroline's life at least three separate times and he stood up for her with Liz when she thought her own daughter was a monster who needed to be killed. The thing is, because of Damon's abuse in season one, none of that registers with Caroline at all. To her, Damon is completely defined as a person by how he treated her when they were "together."

    ReplyDelete
  18. You know what's funny about that? Damon has no hate towards Caroline. After everything they've gone through, the only one still holding on to the hate is Caroline. Damon's in the "she's not my friend, but i have some concern for her" area. It's a grey area with her, but he definitely doesn't hate her. Like Bonnie, he's kinda of grown used to Caroline. Half the time, he doesn't even know that she's saying all this shit behind his back. Lat season, i absolutely LOVED that Elena, didn't stay quiet, and actually stood up for herself. I was waiting for Elena to do that for a longgg time against Caroline.

    ReplyDelete
  19. At the very least, putting them in a room together would afford Caroline the opportunity to confront Damon about their history. That by itself would be some long overdue progress.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yeah true, but how long would that last?? You know Caroline would just keep rambling on and on w/o letting Damon get a word in edgewise, and he won't have any patience.

    ReplyDelete
  21. People sometimes criticize her for being a bad friend to Elena, but they should at least try to see it from Caroline's point of view. Caroline's best friend hooked up with a guy who previously abused her, broke the heart of her best guy friend (Stefan), and people keep telling her he's a different person when he hasn't personally shown her that yet.

Elena was never that popular, but since she got with Damon her personality has been changing, and now she's one of the (if not the) least liked character on the show. And Caroline is watching Elena change right before her eyes, and she doesn't like what she sees, so she puts the blame on the most obvious source.

Even Damon has noticed it. Hell, her changing personality and her habit of dismissing every bad thing Damon does is the reason he broke up with her. He doesn't want her to change who she is for him.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I dunno. The way Damon feels about himself right now he may think he deserves it.

    ReplyDelete
  23. "Caroline's best friend hooked up with a guy who previously abused her,
broke the heart of her best guy friend (Stefan), and people keep telling
her he's a different person when he hasn't personally shown her that
    yet."

If that's the way Caroline feels she should confront her friends about it instead of acting the way she does where Damon is concerned.

As far as a change in Elena, I haven't seen anything that detrimental to her personality that outweighs her personal progress and Caroline is the only one to have supposedly noticed anyway. That being said, her opinion of recent events are primarily colored by her Damon bias and her feelings toward Jesse. If anything, I see Elena as a stronger person lately. I just wish Elena would finally get rid of that pesky habit of tying to make everything about her.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I always wish that the serious issues would be addressed but they never seem to be. Neither Damon or Caroline have really dealt with what happened back in Season 1 nor have Caroline & Elena have also never really discussed the time Elena tried to kill her (for that matter Elena tried to kill Bonnie twice and Bonnie has just forgotten about it?)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Her personality has been magnified. She is free and more loose. Carolne's pushiness has been magnified. LOL. I hope that when she kisses Stefan and it is rumored to be a hot PASSIONATE kiss. LOL I am gonna laugh when she begins to judge herself. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  26. Caroline was a pushing, self-righteous, overbearing human. Now that she is a vampire; it has been magnified. This actress, Candice Accola, has done a splendid job with this character. Made her very annoying. I like it. It makes the storyline intriguing.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I disagree. Damon is dangerous and has hurt pretty much everyone Elena loves, no matter he just proved to still be a threat and Caroline will always be the voice of reason to tell Elena that Damon isn't good for her. That's a fact, unless a friend is supposed to root for her other friend to be with an abusive, serial-killer boyfriend, even with them being vampires and all the bloodshed, it's still too much to overlook when it comes to Damon. I love that Caroline is always there to remind Elena that her most recent triangle choice will prove to be the worst choice she's ever made (Elena's own words).

    ReplyDelete
  28. Matt wasn't very supportive, and Bonnie/Jeremy didn't really say enough to lean them towards supportive or non supportive.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I wouldn't call "compulsion" *cough* RAPE *cough* *cough* being together.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Which she should really, he basically raped her repeatedly, terrorized her, abused her, made her feel like dog crap, and tried to murder her on multiple occasions. Until the show makes Damon address this fact and at least ATTEMPT some sort of apology, I'll always agree with Caroline disliking Damon.
Plus, I think it also has a bit to do with that old saying "the lady doth protests too much" since she's probably sublimating how she feels about Klaus with Elena and Damon's relationship.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think the lady doth protest too much. All her excuses as to why Damon is bad for Elena could easily be said for why Klaus is bad for her. Plus, I think her enthusiasm was cute, even if it was misplaced, lol,

    ReplyDelete
  32. That's why I put together in quotes.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Are you serious? LOL Matt, Jeremy, and Bonnie, have always been on Team Delena...they never NOT supported her. It all started for them in Season 3. That's when they all started to accept Elena's feelings for Damon. Caroline is the ONLY one who isn't.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I was talking about the clip, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  35. There's many reasons why Caro does that

  36. Or he might just snap and do something very "Damon" like. Plus it could be very personal for her that if she admits outloud that he raped her, it makes it all the more real so she probably wouldn't unless she was forced to somehow.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Exactly.. F Klaroline i don't ship them at all. Never have. Never will....But people want to ship them, go right ahead. I don't care who people, cuz we all have our ships. But Caroline, when she gets like this she become a hypocrite. And it always bothers me, b/c she's the one who told Elena to admit her feelings about Damon in the first place. But ever since they got together, all Caroline has been doing is verbally abusing Elena and Damon, left and right. But if SHE has naughty thoughts about Klaus, or calls Klaus, or asks him for pretty dressed, so she can One Up...her best friend, It's all fine and f*cking dandy. Smh, w/e.

    ReplyDelete
  38. HA!!! My bad....I went all VD full throttle...ok the clip..right...yesss there was support. Bonnie had showed concern. Ignoring the wrath of Caroline. Jeremy was by Damon's side, and Matt was questioning why Damon broke up with her. And his tone was all..."how stupid are you" lol read between the lines woman! lol it's all there.

    ReplyDelete
  39. lol caroline literally has nothing to do this season but judge Elena and everything she does.
I totally get it why she hates Damon, he was going to kill her after all (twice) but i am still over her whining about him. Just kill the guy if you hate him, that's what i would do if i was a vampire.

    ReplyDelete
  40. She probably feels like she can't. Stefan & Elena would hate her forever if she killed Damon. As much as she hates Damon I think she also knows how much Stefan loves him.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Some of the time she could be projecting. She's obviously not with Klaus. Julie has said that Caroline is attracted to him ans she struggles with those feelings because part of her considers it to be "wrong".

    ReplyDelete
  42. Caroline was always a superficial brat, even when Damon had her under compulsion. It's possible that she's assumed the role of over-protective friend and it's exaggerated because she's a vampire. However, if the problem is personal, a dam is going to break and soon. I haven't read any indication in articles that Caroline is suppressing any feelings about Klaus (she's supposed to be irritated when anyone mentions him), and I don't think the problem is the way Damon treated her years ago. If Caroline hooks up with Klaus, it'll be either out of spite or desperation, possibly both. When Caroline first became a vampire, I think Stefan said himself that she's a control freak, just not in so many words. They do have a friendship, just not a very close one. They're only there for each other in times of trouble. If they were friends, Caroline wouldn't have felt the need to blab Stefan's bedroom life. There could have been some jealousy when Stefan slept with Katherine, who came right out and told Caroline to sleep with Stefan before that. I hope there are more sneak peeks to come. I'm surprised everyone is so focused on Caroline and no one is noticing how miserable Damon is, and especially how the guys are giving him a hard time. I would give him a hard time too. It was well-established on the show that Elena was too good for him. She even said herself that getting together with him was probably the biggest mistake she would ever make.

    ReplyDelete
  43. True i think most of people don't kill Damon because they know they also have to kill Stefan as well. He would try to avenge Damon for sure. And also Damon is protected by being one of three leads. I just hope he won't survive the series finale.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The reason that Klaus doesn't have a girlfriend, or keep one for very long, is that his issues prevent anything from lasting. That combined with Caroline's personality would cause the whole thing to implode in a matter of weeks. Sure they can sleep together, but Klaus especially wouldn't be able to have a stable relationship with Caroline. He would buy her things, she would complain, and he would get very, very tired of it.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Caroline is blowing things out of proportion since I can remember. I loved her character in seasons 2 & 3..mainly because she seemed like a rational vampire. I agree that for the first few episodes Damon basically treated her like shit, but that happened ages ago and he's gone through so much since then and improved on so many levels. Stefan did some horrible things too, agreed not to her but everyone got over it. When Elena dint have her humanity she tried to kill Caro's mom and had a solid fight with Caroline herself. If she can get over all of that, then im sure she has it in her to get over Damon's crap of the first four episodes. Hell, Caroline should be bitching about how Tyler left her for taking revenge on Klaus or how Klaus is a bigger bad than Damon and still deep down she kinda likes him, even though a lot of times she goes to him when she needs something. Instead of blaming Damon for everything, she needs to support Elena and not be such a cheery 'break up breakfast' kind. Im entirely certain that's not how Elena reacted when Tyler left earlier this season. Here's hoping they find some common ground between Delena (if they get back) and Caroline!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I like Caroline, flaws, faults and all :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Too be fair he did more or less rape Caroline, brainwash her, physically abuse her, kill Elena's brother, threaten to harm Elena in the beginning, try to kill Caroline, as well as dumb Elena. Also she's being supportive by giving her breakfast, and didn't not support her in this scene. I like Damon (hell he's one of few reasons I like this show), but I can get why he's bad for her.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ugh. I could come back with so much, but I'm not even gonna bother this time. You got it.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Caroline needs to kiss both Stefan and Klaus. Maybe even hook up with Stefan. It will leave the internet buzzing for days, some people will loose their sanity on tumblr. And I will be just sitting and cackling reading all the ship war posts))) Best part of watching TVD and TO is the ship wars.
I am tired of Elena/Caroline trying to be friends. Clearly they are too competitive to co-exist.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I don't think it's tacky she is telling Elena the truth and not being fake, she could dial down the happiness a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  51. It's not about supporting a decision. It's about being supportive and sensitive toward a friend who is in the middle of a painful breakup. That's what a good friend would do. Caroline is making this about her and her feelings instead of focusing on Elena, which would be the more appropriate response.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'm not a DE fan by any stretch of the imagination, but even I am sick to death of Caroline and her insensitive, dickhead comments. Why does no-one tell her to STFU? Seriously. She's intensely irritating.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I would since the compulsion is the reason why she kept having sex with him while all she wanted during their first night was to run away as far as possible.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Finally someone that thinks about Carolines character before commenting. thanks you fan2000

    ReplyDelete
  55. I have never viewed Matt, Jeremy and Bonnie being on team Delena, there is a difference between respecting a persons decisions and being on team Delena, the way TVD have developed Matt, Jeremy, and Bonnie it is more that are not saying much about it out of respect of Elena and the inner strength her character has.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Well that's where we have to agree to disagree. B/c there's been plenty of signs. And no, i'm not talking about respect for her decision.

    ReplyDelete
  57. That's 'cause no one keeps an open mind.
