With a week standing in between us and "The Vampire Diaries" midseason return -- and the big milestone 100th episode -- we weren't sure we'd make it through the next seven days. And then The CW gifted us with the best present we could have ever hoped for: an advance copy of the big episode (thank you, screener gods).

We haven't seen a whole lot of backstory on Katherine but #9 sounds like it might be retconned.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to get too worked up over the spoiler that there two amazingly shocking scenes. It seems like I've read that on that site before and then once the episode airs it turns out that it was way over-hyped and not all that shocking or amazing.
Exactly. They always overhype episodes, especially Pretty Little Liars' episodes, so my expectations for this episode will stay low :) Low expectations - less disappointment xD

ReplyDeleteYeah. He is obviously going to have a scene with Caroline because some pictures for a future promo came out today and they appeared to be talking in three of them.

ReplyDeleteI think one of the shocking secrets/twists are... that Nadia's father is actually a descendant of Silas. And the whole doppelgänger mythology will make sense again. But it's my theory, people.

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a trailer for the 101st episode too. Caroline has to deal with her "actions" concerning Tyler probably because Klaus will want to know why she let Tyler go after him, which led to his baby getting attacked. She might end up telling Klaus about whatever she does with Stefan in the 100th episode. What is with Klaus' jewelry? I'm starting to suspect something about him. Of course the promo pics for the 102nd episode indicate a possible surprise visitor at the Bitter Ball, so he might show up that week. The trailer says, "New episodes return." You'll never know, I could be wrong.
ReplyDelete"New twists on an old memory"...I'm pretty sure I called that a few days ago. Katherine is the type to wait until she's on her deathbed to bring things out. The flashbacks from the second season were probably a smokescreen. The shocking scene that will have fans hyperventilating might not be the same as Caroline's "scandalous" behavior. From what I've seen, Klaus and Tyler might not return until the following episode, when Elena apparently gets attacked by travelers in a boarded-up house. Producers were either misquoted on the internet or misleading when they said that the doppelganger mythology would be put to rest for a while. Now I don't know what to believe. The use of the word "prophecy" has me curious, though. I think people have been trying to throw us off and Caroline will sleep with Stefan in the 100th episode. That would definitely make things complicated. I doubt anyone would care if she slept with Klaus. Considering her relationship to him over the past year, it wouldn't even be surprising. I'd be more shocked if Klaus doesn't want to tell her off at least for letting Tyler loose on him.
ReplyDeleteThe promo could be a mix but as far as Klaus goes - Caroline was wearing the same shirt in that scene that she has on in the promo pics for 5x11 where they're sitting on the couch hanging out at the Salvatore Boarding House - so it's got to be the same day.
ReplyDeleteEeeekkkkk I can't wait!! I'm excited to see who from the past shows up. Since so many of the old cast showed up to the wrap party I hope they all have a part!
