Arrow was up 18% from last year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well-deserved: hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood Wednesday ratings for the CW. And it seems TTP is not dead yet.
ReplyDelete!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYay! Too bad it's moving to Monday's though.
ReplyDeleteTTP benefited without a facing directly a new episode of Criminal Minds. However, if it holds well next week, it could get renewed.
ReplyDeleteMaybe but the same you can say for Reign, who doesnt have Greys as competition at the moment. Its good that it grew in both male and female young demos.
ReplyDeleteIF it gets 0.5/0.6 (or more) on Mondays, then it will get renewed, I think
ReplyDeleteit adjusted up to a 0.7
ReplyDeleteI thought this was a joke or something, but it really is true! So happy for The Tomorrow People, hope it holds up next week and then on Monday as well!!
ReplyDeleteIt's good CW is taking advantage of airing opposite repeats. This way, when they get addicted to the show (Reign or TTP), they might starting watching it live and help the ratings out.
ReplyDeleteGlad for Arrow, the 1.1 looks like the number I wanted it to have all season.
ReplyDeleteAs for TTP...hate to say it but how is a 0.7 worth celebrating ? Is there something I don't see ? It's growing because of the lack of competition but it's merely at Reigns level, if I see the situation in the right light it's a 'Reign vs. TTP, winner lives' situation
Is there something I don't see ?
The only way I can see TTP getting a renwal (and don't get me wrong it's TTP over Reing any day for me) is it faring better than expected on mondays
Yeah, I read that, but it's still moving to Mondays, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteSeries high is somthing to "celebrate".
ReplyDeleteVery nice. The episode was fantastic too, so that's nice. I still have doubts about its renewal, but this is definitely a step in the right direction.
ReplyDeleteGreat for Arrow! I'm impressed/surprised by TTP's rise, but sadly that doesn't make its prospects much better. It's probably going to collapse on Monday.
ReplyDeleteGood for both shos, but two observations:
ReplyDelete1- It's said that the press release was written by the Syfy but they are CW shows.
2- Those series high are among sub-demos, on adults 18-49, The Tomorrow People's series high is still the 0.9 pulled on the series premiere.
then that's what I call a pretty fudging bittersweet celebration
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for this. GO CW!
ReplyDeleteEven though I watch The Tomorrow People regularly it's definitely a take-it-or-leave-it show for me. It's just not the series I hoped it was going to be. I'm glad for all the people who are really into it though. TTP needs all the ratings help it can get if it's going to survive.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad. I really liked this week's Arrow and Tomorrow People. TTP isn't my favorite show, I expected more, but it's been growing on me. It has its moments.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I was worried about this episode specifically b/c for some of the east coasters (like me) college basketball was airing after Arrow which meant it would be airing at 11 pm est.
ReplyDeleteWhich, I guess means that people can't give Arrow credit for TTP's success last night, it really was TTP improving.
I'm so glad i was really worry about this show. I though it did not have a chance to get pick up with Reign because of the People's choice award it go.
ReplyDeleteI'd agree but they're kind of spinning, here. In the demo that matters most, 18-49A, it got 0.9 and 0.8 in its first two weeks, so it's not a series high. Still nice to see it rise, though.
ReplyDeleteThat's how I feel about TTP as well. I watch and enjoy it but it's just not a great show, it has quite a few kinks to work out. I wish it well but won't be devastated if it's cancelled.
ReplyDeleteI really love TTP and for me as a german, it is great to see it at least getting up even when I cry because I always like shows, US viewers don't like (TTP, BB) I want a second season of TTP.
ReplyDeleteArrow is awesome of course too!
OMG YES!!! I knew i had to keep hope! Yes, if the ratings can continue to stay higher and higher, then my May hopefully they will announce that it will get a second season!! I really don't want this show cancelled.
ReplyDeleteHahaha I definitely was!!! = )
