    the ultimate badass.
    Anyone noticed the release order for these pictures ? Sophie, Cami, Davina, Hayley, Rebekah, Elijah, Marcel, Klaus.


    I kinda hate how that means Marcel is more of a main that Rebekah and Elijah...

    My favorite character on the show. Calm and collected 99% of the time, but a ruthless killer when he needs to be. He gives off an aura of danger even when he's not being hostile. I enjoy characters like that.

    I thought he was an overrated character when he was on Vampire Diaries but when I watch The Originals, I can see how great of a character he is

    Such a dashingly handsome man. Klaus hopelessly pales in comparison to him in terms of charisma and power, which was kind of a problem on TVD... they introduced Elijah first, then they were all "Klaus is way worse than Elijah", and that was faaaaaaaaaaar from the truth.

    For me, what adds to that charisma and power in Elijah is the danger under the calm. You expect Klaus to act the way he does, so it never really comes as a surprise. Not so with Elijah. With him, you're never sure when the danger is going to be unleashed or in what form. It's unpredictable and scary and kind of awesome. By the time Klaus came along, I was thinking, *this* is the guy that's worse than Elijah?

    totally agreed, they did a too good job with Elijah and Matt Davis' Klaus and kinda oversold Klaus and undersold Elijah to us

    My least favorite photo of my most favorite character. What a weird wardrobe choice. Are they trying to hide a baby bump or something? What's with a winter coat when the show is filmed in Atlanta and is set in Louisiana? ...damn, at least put the man in a suit...since we all know how well he wears those. :)

    I'm not that worried about the release order. So far I'm enjoying how they're using Elijah, and I think the writers have a decent realization of how key he and Rebekah are for many audience members. Elijah didn't get much screen time at the beginning because the actor was off working his other show. If that starts to change I might worry or complain... or stop watching ;), but, I'm enjoying the storyline so far.
