The Mentalist sees possible romance on the horizon for one Teresa Lisbon.
TVLine has learned exclusively that Pedro Pascal — whose recent TV credits include Graceland, Red Widow and an upcoming arc as Game of Thrones‘ Oberyn Martell — has joined the CBS procedural in the recurring role of FBI Special Agent Marcus Pike.
Pike is described as “a charming man with integrity, a blue-collar cop with FBI smarts.” As previously scooped by my Inside Line column, when the G-man enlists Jane and Lisbon to help track a band of art thieves, he takes an instant shine to the latter and sets out to sweep her off her feet.

ReplyDeleteIt's about time!! I was wondering when Lisbon would get a new love interest. The writers should have done it in season 5 or earlier this season. I do admit that I'm a Jane/Lisbon shipper and I want them to be together when the series end, but I think this will be good for Lisbon. Maybe she needs to distance herself from Jane for a while and let Marcus romance her. Now that she's not the boss, she can have also have a social life, to date and have some fun. Finally Marcus Pike has a face. Don't know him but I hope he's good.

Recurring so he sticks around whole season? I hope they chemistry tested because Lisbon has never had chemistry with any guys working with her ..remember Sam Bosco? Hope it is a good story for her.
Are they freaking kidding me? This show turned from procedural with a loong background arc about catching RJ and now it's a procedural where all we care for is if the main characteres get laid or not? I'll pass.
ReplyDeleteIt's not clear if Pike will become Lisbon's boyfriend. I remember the term "boyfriend" was once mentioned in a question on TVLine.com. Heller himself never said anything about a boyfriend.
