Tim Omundson from my beloved Psych on SPN as Cain? Sounds very interesting indeed.
ReplyDeleteHart of Dixie - Sigh. All the HoD synopses this season do nothing for me. Also, Joel has long overstayed his welcome. That guy needs to go.
ReplyDeleteBatB - This show is getting really weird and, although season two started out really well, it doesn't have the same spark as last season.
The Originals - Well damn. That entire synopsis seems good to me. Two thumbs up.
Supernatural - Again. The entire synopsis seems good to me. Way to rebound, SPN. Gold star for you.
Arrow - The synopsis was good for me until the bit about Sin and Roy. Sorry, guys. Roy and all Roy-related stuff is still the least interesting part of Arrow for me. I guess I don't mind Sin though. She's alright.
The Vampire Diaries - It's about time Nadia started causing a little more trouble. I'm looking forward to it.
Ooh, Sam is back! I was worried he'd be gone longer. And yay for Tim Omundson!
ReplyDeleteVincent is going to reveal himself and his big secret to the world and i have to believe that this is still the same show I rooted for last season. Bye, bye, S3.
ReplyDeleteExited to see Arrow, Reign, TVD 100 epi and The originals! they all look like great episodes
ReplyDeleteOh here we go. Sam and Castiel are at the bunker? Meaning that in the annual brother rift, Dean is the one who is apparently going to be the one who leaves. This should go over well, considering Sam hasn't even properly moved into the place yet. I swear they're just trying to give this fandom more fodder to hate Sam with. It's actually kind of funny at this point.
ReplyDeleteTO: Witches being sick can cause problems? Odd that never happened before. Sounds like maybe the phone call Hayley got in the previous episode was from Sophie and she did something.
ReplyDeleteTVD: I don't see how not telling Elena about Stefan/Katherine qualifies as mortifying. I have a feeling though that the "scandalous behavior" will turn out to be nothing.
SPN: Sounds like maybe we'll finally be getting rid of Abbadon. I've been waiting for that to story-line to get a move on.
TTP: Not a lot to go on
We don't get a lot of Crowley and Dean, so that should be fun. Cain sounds mighty interesting.
ReplyDeleteThis is the episode where Jensen filmed a fight scene for over 9 hrs. He also did his own stunts. Glad to finally see the end result of Jensen's hard work.
Hopefully Abaddon makes an appearance. Always up for some Abaddean scenes.
Insta-fix for Sam , who gets landed with the boring company of Castiel,, plus separated brothers. Sounds wonderful! (sarc)
ReplyDeletedon't you think that the writers have something in mind ??...we're talking with them through twitter and they have plans about things... keep calm beastie ;) ;) we have to wait and see ;)
ReplyDelete@BatB: I guess my speculations about 'Vincent Keller is dead' dialogue in 209 promo was right after all.
ReplyDelete@Arrow: It finally seems like Laurel will be interesting to watch. My dislike for the character aside, my biggest complaint has always been that she seems a misfit since she is always separate from the main storylines of other characters. Although, I don't know how involved she'll remain after being arrested but for this episode at least she seems to have something to do which adds to the actual storyline.
I don't have much on an opinion about Roy's super-strength right now. Will have to wait and see how that unfolds. But maybe this is what will give him the ability to be Red Arrow :)
Yep its and insta fix for Sam in episode 10 and then Tahmoh is back to play Gadreel for the rest of the season.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Sam and Dean are not going to be seperated for more than an episode or two at the most and this time only because Dean is working with Crowley (I see they gave Sam's potential connection to Crowley and demon hunting storyline to Dean) and Sam I pressume just wasnt invited along or is pressumed not strong enough to leave the bunker or maybe Crowley just joined the list of people on the show who just like Dean better? And then Dean might be incapacitated in episode 12 after the supposedly epic fight where he maybe kills Abaddon for good (that was a quick and wastedful storyline if he she does get killed off btw). I think there will be some tension between the boys for a couple of episodes but I dont think there will be an all out seperation or any real anger/resentment, seems like they'll be working together pretty quickly again manybe even as early as episode 12 when Garth is back and Dean and Garth have had time to bond and alk about Dean's feelings on the whole issue.
So Sam has a bit of grace still left in him but if they take it out it might do permenant damge to him? I call bullshit on that because we've heard that line so many times over the past few seasons in regards to Sam but nothing has ever happened to him thanks to the convienient insta fix and or the writers just forgetting about it. So do they actually remove the grace to use it and that will be that or do they leave the grace in Sam and actually have Sam use the grace inside himself to their advantage somehow? My guess at the moment would be this will go down the whole 'I'm a damaged freak' route for Sam again and we'll get that obligatory line from Sam again for the third time this season with Sam questioning his self worth, they get the grace out of Sam because at least then it wont be wasted by the writers and this would tie in with Sam's 'suicidal storyline' as he wont be bothered that he may end up with permenant damage. Also ties in with Jared spoiling that Sam has an emotional scene in this episode. Also I'm going to assume that Cas taking the grace would go track Gadreel down and it will be him who mostly deals with the Gadreel/Metatron storyline.
As a Sam fan I'm pretty much not going to get my hopes up that we'll be getting an actual storyline for him this season, from the spoilers we have Sam isnt doing much and Jared has been off for most of the filming of episodes 11, 12, 13 and 14. He probably wont be in 17 or 20 much either and there are 2 additional Cas centric episodes comeing up other than episode 14 which tend to be Sam light.
at least Jared would have had something to do as it is he's been missing from filming for a lot of the up coming episodes 11-14. At least a Gadreel he had a storyline.
ReplyDeletenot sure if its true but aparently at the end of the episode Cas and Sam have to save Dean's ass after the mother of all fights in which he apparently gets a hell of a beating (I'll assume Cas will heal him) and Crolwey will do a runner while Dean's not looking.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Gadreel sl for Sam was done for what reason ? .
ReplyDeletewuhu. Beauty and the Beast and Tomorrow People. Not sure what I should think of the part, with Vincent showing himself but i can't wait. Specially when VinCat needs to work together again!
ReplyDeleteOh great, Laurel stuff. That's got me really excited... Interesting to see about Roy though. And what is Sara gonna tell Oliver on the island?
ReplyDeleteDespite the lack of anything really detailed about the episode, TTP seems quite exciting.
So the writers would have the brothers fight/be at odds/emotionally apart, what else? *Grumbles*
ReplyDeleteA) So they can have Sam be wrong again for wanting to control his life because, after all, Dean saved him and now he is an ungrateful b*tch if he feels any anger whatsoever.
ReplyDeleteB) So Cas can fill up on extra grace and be wonderful and marvelous and save Heaven from Gadreel? Because Lord knows if Sam has any part in anything it is a sin.
Other than Bad Boys, this is the only episode I am really interested in this season. Not expecting anything to come of this, but they've teased Dean and Abaddon since episode 2 and the two are great together, and Dean and Crowley should be good value. Dean and Cain too - First Born? Dean is the first born brother, again not expecting anything but the opportunity is there for them to write a storyline that is actually about Dean and not about Dean worrying about *insert character here*. They seem to be sticking with Sam and Gadreel and the Angels, why not let Dean be All About The Demons.
ReplyDeleteto service the Dark Dean storyline aparently since he's the onlyone who is affected by what happened
ReplyDeleteexcept Sam isnt going to have part of the Gadreel storyline after he's been kicked out in episode 10, they'll get the left over grace out of him which is all part of Cas's storyline and Dean's revenge storyline.
ReplyDeleteOh yes I have to applaud the writers than have set this up very nicely .
ReplyDeleteOpportunity is there. I just hope the writers run with it. It looks like Cain is more than just a one-off character. So we'll have to see what his connection to Dean and the new mythology will be.
ReplyDeleteI think it's possible that Abaddon will make an appearance this episode. I want more Dean and Abaddon interaction. Maybe Dean gets into a fight with her.
Well, if revealing Vincent's secret in national TV isn't the one last thing that was missing to erase S1 completely, I don't know what is. Congratulations, Mr. Kern, you really did it! I hope you this accomplishment looks good next season when you'll be looking for a new job.
ReplyDeleteI agree would love to see Dean and Abaddon they had great chemistry but I like the fact we get Dean and Crowley. Yes the boys are separated and I think be good for Dean to get out of the bunker where all these terrible things came about especially after Kevin. And glad he wants to get Gadreel can't blame him there. Hopefully comes later, but want to see Dean even big ole bad Dean. And we get some Cass and Sam time wonder if Cass will let Dean know about what is going on with Sam. I can't imagine he would do this without Dean's knowledge. And can't wait to see Tim in it excited and to see Jensen's 9 hours of fighting woo hoo.
ReplyDeleteSo excited for The Originals and Arrow! Here for Roy/Sin scenes!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I hadn't heard that. I assumed that the brothers would be fighting again and Sam would be taking residence at the bunker while Dean got stuck in some crappy motel room or something. Which would send the masses into a tizzy because Sam hasn't even really moved into the bunker yet. It just seems like something these writers would do. Forget about the fact that he's been violated for the past couple of months and stripped of his autonomy, he doesn't have a right to be pissed about it. Oh and for good measure, let's have fandom really hate his guts by giving him the bunker. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if any of this leftover grace stuff and the removal of it doing permanent damage to Sam has anything to do with those spoilers Jared gave about Sam still being ready to die. Cas might tell him they could remove it to track down Gadreel but Sam could die in the process and he's just like "screw it, do what you need to do." How freaking depressing, for real.
ReplyDeleteNot sure why you would jump to that conclusion that it's a rift. Could just be Dean wants Sam to stay behind because of the ordeal he just went through.
ReplyDeleteyou are just like me gave up all faith in this show right now. I give up why bother anymore.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking you are not wrong about this if that's what the writer are doing I am fucking Done its a big FU to Sam fan's right now so I say FU to them for doing it.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe people are still trying to tease whether Katherine will die in the 100th episode of The Vampire Diaries. Maybe a new actress will play Katherine as a traveler? It seems pretty obvious that the blind item about the kiss is about Stefan and Caroline.
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity, where did you hear this? Was there a spoiler somewhere that we missed?
ReplyDeleteI am so surprised about the fact that Vincent is going public with being a beast. That just floors me. I cannot see how this will play out, very curious as to the logic.
ReplyDeleteI thought it sounded more like maybe Katherine & Elena are going to share a body that way Nina can continue to play both.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why he'd be missing from Episode 11. However, by my estimation part of Episode 12, all of 13, and part of 14 were filmed in Dec. and I'm guessing they wanted to write him lighter in case Gen went into labor early and they didn't want to have to scramble to put together a reason why Sam was in the episode and then half-way through disappears.
ReplyDeleteSince the last time Gen was pregnant, Jared worked until she went into labor and came back the day after Thomas was born, so if they went by history they knew Jared would come through. Heck start shooting his scenes first all the time, and be prepared to switch things around if Gen went into labor during his shooting schedule. For heaven's sake, they were able to work around Jared breaking his hand in season 2, and that gave no warning, so writing a few scripts where someone could take over Sam's lines would have worked.
ReplyDeleteNah. This show has a formula. They're gonna be at odds with one another over this possession thing, it's just a matter of how long it will last. Carver himself spoiled it in that EW interview but I think that by episode 12 they're working together again.
ReplyDeleteDidn't he only take like a day off when Gen had Thomas? They were shooting the scene in Reading is Fundamental where he's chasing Kevin around the mental hospital when Gen went into labor and he left, was there for the birth and came right back the next day. And when he broke his hand he had to schedule surgery to have it fixed but I think I remember him mentioning going straight to the set afterward and passing out in his trailer because he was still really doped up on the anesthesia. So no, I don't think him having all of that time off had anything to do with Gen having the second baby at all. He's just not going to be in a whole lot of scenes between episodes 11-14 for some reason.
ReplyDeleteOk I didn't read about all my shows, just TTP and TVD. (i just needed a fix)....I'm scared fro Russell, and i hope nothing bad happens to him. John seems to be going solo in this episode, i'm guessing since the cat came out of the bag, that no one has his back anymore? And Jed wants to do a "Joker's try out" idt this will end well for some of our TP.
ReplyDeleteAs for TVD...I had to "oh god" on this one. It seems they're doing exactly what i feared, and also exactly what some of you theorized on. Katherine will jump into Elena's body. I reallyyy hope that doesn't happen. If they're going to force her in someone's body please let it be someone else, someone new!! And with Katherine remembering 1480 and us having flashbacks (again) do you think they would show Nadia's dad?? That would be interesting. And Caroline as much as i love you, good for you!! I mean honestly!! I really felt like she was gonna let Stefan have this one. Let him come out to Elena on one night stand with Katherine. But noo, once again she spreads people's business. And if Stefan or Elena berates her for it, I will be saying thank you. And "indulges in a little scandalous behavior of her own." Hmmm, i think we just got a big clue on who the Blind Item Couple is. (hehe).
you maybe right about that no one here can tell me if it true or not that this will happen.
ReplyDeleteI do think they have something on their minds. Character assassination. Just pointless plots to attract more viewers. I don't think calling new viewers stupid by presenting them an absurd story is a good way to please them, though, otherwise, people wouldn't be so worry when I point out how weak and fruitless these new scripts are.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's all getting to the ridiculous stage!
ReplyDeleteDean gets paired off with everyone that sets foot on the show except the one person he should always be paired off with, i.e. Sam.
While Sam gets to be the one who gets all the evil/debilitating/going to die stuff laid on him from demon blood to possession just to have it taken from him in the same dull, repetitive way.
Now it seems, he has this extra little bit of remaining grace which is probably what is still keeping his damaged body alive and which if Cast siphones off and adds to what he stole from the angel he killed, will be enough to take out Gadreel/ stop Metatronor/ cure Dean after his big fight, or whatever!
X
So, so uncreative, pathetic writing!
When I think back to when the brothers' wonderful chemistry carried the episodes, with nothing more than a glance or a synchronised closing of the Imala's doors or the complicity between them when on a hunt, and now we get this watered down, sit-com version, it makes me so sad for what we once had, and have no more.At least Sam and Dean are still as handsome as ever but that is poor comfort.:(
someone who went to a recent con said that was a spoiler from there, I haven't got a clue but I have seen it floating around a bit. I personally dont think that is what is going to go down, I dont think Sam and Dean will be reunited till episode 12 after Dean leaves on his road trip with Crowley in episode 10. I think it will be Garth who convinces Dean to go back to the bunker.
ReplyDeleteI don't think its a tantrum after what Sam has been through the trials and now angel possession maybe best for sam to stay with cass. and plus dean owes Crowley and now with what happened at the bunker maybe dean being away will help him get his head together.JMO
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Reign!!! Jan. 23rd :)
ReplyDeleteHe's not going public about being a beast just that he's alive.
ReplyDeleteall solely written so everyone feels bad for Saint Dean and keeps the hate alive for bad selfish brother Sad Sam!
ReplyDeleteI'm now desperately hoping Sam is suicidal and at the end of the season perhaps even before then can track down Crowley and finish the trials. Sam is I'm sorry to say surplus to requirement on this show and lets face it with no real hope of a decent happy ending for Sam that isnt pre-Dean approved death is the only way to go and can not come quick enough.
