As the team goes undercover to catch him, Liz (Megan Boone) finds herself on the hunt for an unlikely couple. Meanwhile Liz and Tom (Ryan Eggold) find themselves at another bump in their relationship and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) debates whether or not he should give his ex-girlfriend his blessing. Parminder Nagra & Harry Lennix also star.

Don't trust your husband, Lizzie. Also, if they're going to continue with the "Ressler's ex" subplot there had better be a twist coming because there are much better ways for The Blacklist to fill screen time than focusing on Ressler's love life.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little confused. His ex was there for like ten seconds and you're already predicting their scenes will take valuable time away from the episode itself? That's a leap in logic I can't quite follow.

ReplyDeleteThe quality of those scenes are still to be determined. I'd take some Ressler backstory over one of Liz and her husband's boring scenes any day.
ReplyDeleteah I just hope that someone (preferably Liz) just shoots Tom already...I dont know but he is really annoying and sooo guilty.
ReplyDeleteI still reckon there is a bigger twist coming with Tom, more than we currently think of his guilt.
ReplyDeleteTom could be a double agent for some unknown foreign country......he could use a honeypot tactic to gather intelligence on Liz because she is a FBI agent and gain secrets and stuff? There is more to Tom and for now he has not acted that smart?
ReplyDeleteI think you're confusing the contents of my post with a definitive statement of fact. My interest in Agent Ressler is limited to being comic relief for Red and to being someone Lizzie can spar with. Ressler's love life is of little to no interest to me. Therefore, for my entertainment purposes, if there isn't some twist involved that dovetails Ressler's subplot back into the main themes of the series then I'd prefer that The Blacklist shift focus to other areas.
