    I am really thinking that Phillip and Elizabeth will turn on the Motherland and work for the Americans maybe as soon as the end of S2. Just so they can keep the kids safe and also because they don't entirely trust their handlers.

    yup, the plot must go on and this is, in fact, one of the most obvious moves (and I don't mind it's obvious, I just want to see it! :) )... especially if they had to turn themselves in not only because of the kids safety, but also Stan's growing suspicions.

    I don't see the point in switching sides. The american's priority wouldn't be keeping their kids safe. If anything it would put the kids in greater danger; they would have the Russians after them for being traitors. They are stuck in the middle between Godzilla and Mothra, choosing one over the other would do nothing, what they need to do is get the hell out of the way and just disappear.

    What I'm wondering is if (maybe not in s2 but eventually) they'll have Philip secretly turn and Elizabeth still loyal. I think she's the harder sell and will try to stay in denial as long as possible. I agree with you it's clear they can't trust their handlers.

    I keep wishing that they would release a full length promo. On the other hand, all these 30 sec promos have been nothing but awesome. Eagerly waiting for this show. Less than a month to go. :)
