Teen Wolf - Episode Rankings
Jan 3, 2014
Teen WolfInstead of doing a poll where you can only select your top one or two episodes, today we have a ranking system. Which episodes do you think should be at the top? Which ones should be at the bottom? Don't forget to add your individual rank in the comments. Also tell me if you prefer this ranking system or polls for future Teen Wolf special articles, since this is my first time using Ranker.
For me: As always the top and bottom of the list is fairly firm but the middle is all fuzzy.
1. Motel California (one of the best Teen Wolf episodes of them all)
2. The Girl Who Knew Too Much
(lots of space)
3. Chaos Rising
4. Lunar Ellipse
5. Alpha Pact
6. Overlooked
7. Fireflies
8. Unleashed
9. Tattoo
10. Currents
11. Frayed
12. Visionary
Best Teen Wolf Episode of 3A
For me, the two best are Motel California and The Girl Who Knew Too Much by far. Like an ocean apart from the others, Chaos Rising, Lunar Ellipse, and Alpha Pact get lumped together. Then Overlooked, Fireflies and Unleashed. Next Tattoo and Currents. Dead last are Frayed and Visionary.
ReplyDeleteHmm-- At the moment this is my order. Motel California remains in position one but most of the others between Motel California and Fireflies are kind of fluid. Motel California was the only ep that I thought was pretty solid all the way through...hmm 95%. Most of the rest of the eps had great scenes but some elements I had a problem with. Fireflies is next to last because, for me, there wasn't a lot of meat to the ep plot wise. Tattoo, suffered from a bit of a klunky script IMHO. I liked a good chunk of The Overlooked but Scotts decision at the end nearly left me apoplectic I disliked it to much.

I loved them all!
ReplyDeleteAw, come on! This is like asking a parent, which child he or she loves the most! It's nice to see one of these ranking thingy's in which all of the options have a positive vote differential, though. That said, I think I agree with the current ranking: Motell California and the Girls Who Knew Too Much at the top.
ReplyDeleteI am undecided about the middle episodes myself. It seems like every time I rewatch 3A, my ranking changes. I am with you about how most of them have scenes that really stick out, for better or worse, so I think doing a best scene ranking would actually be easier than episodes.
ReplyDeleteMy problem with Currents comes in the last 5 minutes. Up to that I thought it was a decent episode, but then we get Deaton fawning over Scott and my gag reflex kicks in. I wish they had stopped the episode at Boyd's death, because as much as I hated that plot point, it was a powerful scene.
