“MOONDAY’S” SEASON THREE RETURN OF MTV’S “Teen Wolf”
IS THE MOST WATCHED TELECAST IN SERIES HISTORY
“Teen Wolf” is Monday’s #1 Original Cable Series
New York, NY (January 7, 2014) – The highly anticipated second half of “Teen Wolf” season three returned as Monday’s #1 original cable series. The most watched telecast in the series’ history, the episode drew-in a record 2.5 million total viewers. It also garnered a strong 2.3 P12-34 rating, matching the earlier series high when season three first debuted. According to Social Guide, “Teen Wolf” was the most social entertainment program of the night, with nearly 1.2 million tweets — 25 percent more than the earlier series high. Season three is pacing to be the highest-rated and most-watched season to date.
The series also scored well with teens, earning a 4.3 rating with this demo, and an impressive 6.3 rating among female teens. Both are record highs for the series. Immediately following last night’s “Teen Wolf” episode, MTV debuted “Wolf Watch,” a new half-hour talk show hosted by Jill Wagner who plays “Kate Argent” in “Teen Wolf,” which held over 60 percent of its lead-in, with a 1.4 P12-34 rating.
