Arrow Beauty and the Beast Game of Thrones Once Upon A Time Sleepy Hollow SpoilerTV Awards Supernatural Vampire DiariesDay 3 and we move towards the Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show, which contains some of the biggest shows here on SpoilerTV. This should be an interesting battle!
Basic Info:
- Polls for each category will be posted separately, one poll per day.
- You will be able to vote for each poll for three days, so at a time, three polls will be running at max.
- You will not be able to see the results until after the winners are announced, which will be done after all the polls end in a separate post.

ReplyDeleteHm, I watch GOT, Sleepy Hollow and I'm on 108 of Arrow, so I voted for Game of Thrones,
ReplyDeleteI love once upon a time and sleepy hollow but ultimately i had to vote game of thrones after the amazing season 3 especially episode 9 it was jaw dropping.
ReplyDeleteGame of Thrones for me. It is one of the best shows/stories ever, so it pretty securely locks this for me. Although, Arrow is an extremely solid show and definitely locks as #2.

ReplyDeleteSleepy Hollow without question, but only because Malcolm Merlyn came back. If he hadn't, it would have been hard to pick between Sleepy Hollow and Arrow. For once I can say without sarcasm, thanks Malcolm.

ReplyDeleteGame of Thrones! It's one of my favorite shows ever! I love Arrow, Sleepy Hollow and OUAT a lot but there's no doubt for me! GoT is the best Fantasy show in TV today and may be ever in my opinion.

ReplyDeleteI love Arrow to death and actually voted for it but why is it considered a sci fi/ fantasy show? It has some elements that are exaggerated, sure, particularly now with the super strength storyline, but the show is not supposed to be sci fi or fantasy or am I mistaken?

ReplyDeleteI'm starting to feel like maybe I should try watching BATB at some point. Out of the shows I actually watch I think GOT is the best show so I went with that. I am enjoying Sleepy Hollow, OUAT I still like and I'm still watching TVD even though this season is a mess.

ReplyDeleteSince is a favorite scify/fantasy show, (popularity) I will give it to BATB which is my personal favorite. Might not be the best one since I think that would be GOT but if I have to choose which one I find myself closer to and the one that touches my heart there is no other than BATB.
ReplyDeleteSome international beasties dont really understand how Nielsen ratings work here in the USA so they just emphasize because they feel they help by promoting the show through these sites and with USA fans. Nothing more to it. Its goodwill nothing more.
ReplyDeleteI watch all kind of shows from GOT, shameless, masters of sex, SH to Brittish period dramas. But there is something about BATB that hits home the love story, being an underdog since its pilot, the fandom, the actors etc. but its my favorite show despite all the bullying and the pointing flaws from other show fans. I fell in love with like any other show.

I love Game of Thrones and Arrow but BATB has me re-watching episodes over and over again. It's an obsession :)

ReplyDeleteIts a tought choice between all the shows other than Beauty and the Beast and Supernatural. Both shows are vastly over rated by online fandoms and pale in comparison to the vastly superior shows on this list. The writers of both shows need to be fired.
i went with Sleepy Hollow on this one. B/c it's fresh, and i haven't been bored with an episode yet. (ok that's a lie, just one, but it's new so i'm cutting it some slack) But i DO love my other three shows on this poll so much. (TVD, Arrow, and SPN)

ReplyDeleteit was in the mid season press release, Beauty will be taken off the schedule Star Crossed at 8 and HOD at 9 on Monday then HOD moves to Friday 9 and TTP moves to Monday 9. The remaining episodes of Beauty are yet to be scheuled but they will air in the summer.
ReplyDeleteeven longer break coming it will be yanked from the schedule in February I think and wont be back till the summer.

I feel it should have ended like 3 years ago, around the time the writers started recycling plots and forgot how to write anything except angst and crude humor. I must be crazy because the fact that this show STILL has such high ratings is scream-inducingly ridiculous, in my opinion.

ReplyDeleteYeah...I now voted for Arrow again, but honestly, if I had the choice, I would have picked Grimm this time around and have given Arrow the vote for Drama only.
ReplyDeleteI watched the entire first season because of it's lead in and a few other episodes. It's not my thing and I don't know anyone who watches it. I honestly think their fan base is more into the social side of it than the show it's self.
ReplyDeleteArrow I can leave or take. It seems like a good show but there is just something missing that doesn't make me long to come back for more. It does seem to be bigger with male viewers though so maybe that is why.

ReplyDeleteI still wonder why they returned him. The storyline about Thea finding out she's his daughter could've been done with him dead too. I can only guess they have other plans, that do require him to be alive, that they will reveal to us in the longer future. That's the only way I can make sense in this decision because I too don't get why they still need him.

ReplyDeleteIt seems that if a show can be considered both drama and sci-fi/fantasy, it was eligible for voting in both categories. And Arrow was among the shows that got the most votes in both, hence being a "finalist". I suppose Grimm too could count as either genre, it just didn't get enough votes as either drama or fantasy.

even by its own channel, thrown where the hole needs to be plugged in, show. It
became almost a good practice to throw a stone into SPN
by everyone passing by, to say how
horrible is it, how silly is storyline, how it had to be canceled after season
5, rise eyebrows in disbelieve how ridicules it’s having such a high ratings. And, oh, almost forgot: its alive only because
of bunch of lonely women drool in their beer over 2 hot males who can not act. Yes,
this one. Did I forget something else?
From this perspective – completely overrated.
Its still my favorite scifi, sorry, people. And I will
protect it even on this website. And yes, I do watch all other shows in this
category (except for Arrow, just no). And yes, some of those are very good. But
no, SPN is a favorite one, with all its ups and downs through
9 years of storytelling
