Dexter‘s Jennifer Carpenter has scored a killer new gig.
The actress, easily one of pilot season’s hottest commodities, has landed a starring role in ABC’s Twin Peaks-esque drama pilot Sea of Fire, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Seems a bit too dark for ABC, though I hope its good and a success as I like Jennifer
ReplyDeleteOoh,i haven't heard anything about this but i'll keep my eyes open.Just hearing Twin Peaks, peeks my interest!
ReplyDeleteMe too.....but Twin Peaks and ABC in the same sentence ...hmmmmm....let´s hope for the best.
ReplyDeleteReservations here as well, hearing the word ABC. Let's hope they are smart about it and at least make it a 10pm show, so they can get some of that darkness in there.
ReplyDeleteKnowing ABC they will stick on at 8 pm... :O
ReplyDeleteI know right! A very unlikely union....
ReplyDeleteNice to ABC getting back some more dark things! Def will check this out for Jennifer Carpenter! :D
ReplyDeleteHadn't heard of this one before, but will keep an ear out now for Jennifer Carpenter.
ReplyDeleteIt's being filmed in Vancouver! I would LUV to meet her. I wonder if there's a way to find out when and where shooting will happen. I'm so happy for her. Missed our 'Deb' now soon to be 'Leah'. That will take awhile to get used too lol But hey Deb didn't die. She moved to another department lol
ReplyDeleteI was hoping Carpenter would go for something a little more fun than this.
ReplyDeleteI loved Lost (and Twin Peaks) and if they dare getting that dark again I would be so excited. It still seems a little strange to me that Hannibal is a NBC show, but if NBC can do it, why not ABC?! Let´s hope!
ReplyDeleteI don´t watch the shows live as I live in Denmark. Do you remember when Lost was on?
ReplyDeleteIt was either Wednesday or Thursday night at 9 pm (New York,EST).
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see Jennifer again! Hope it's good.
ReplyDeleteThis premise seems really intresting, and I love Jennifer! Hopefully ABC will pick it up.
ReplyDeleteok, thanks, Laura! :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds intriguing, but I'm not sure Debra Morgan's language is allowed on network television.
ReplyDeleteLost was pretty dark at times so I have faith ABC can have darker shows, but lately it seems like it's not their cup of tea, but maybe we'll get lucky. I agree let's just hope for the best.
