WGN America announced today at TCA that their first scripted series Salem will premiere Sunday, April 20, 2014.

    Can't come soon enough. With AHS: Coven only having three episodes to air and Witches of East End on hiatus, I'm glad I won't be deprived of witches for too long.

    That seems very soon, I knew this show was happening and the casting, but I didn't hear anything about actual filming. It looks intriguing, I'll definitely give it a shot.

    I'm really, really stoked for this. Deadline has an article that gives you an idea of the show, apparently the witches are very real and some are evil, and working with the town's leaders to operate the Trials. Sounds so fascinating and cool! The critics are acting like we should be "offended" by this "exploitation of a shameful time" which I find completely idiotic, cuz all it does is make me want to watch it more. Although I don't get WGN so I have already started sending emails to Google asking them to sell it in the Play Store. lol
