  1. Is Aaron's old friend Bret Michaels? And oh, Monroe, Connor, and Charlie spending time together should be fun. Or is Bret Michaels in Willoughby with Miles and Rachel?

  2. I wonder what makes Charlie agree to go on a mission with Monroe and Charlie. Anyway, I absolutely adore all the Monroe focus!

  5. Billy Burke said in an interview that he wasn't on the set the day Bret MIchaels was on..and Bret Michaels tweeted how great it was to work with David and Tracy so I bet the mission leads them to New Vegas.

  8. I think maybe we might be seeing New Vegas again, which is where "David Schwimmer" is set to perform. (So it might be where all Celeberties go considering BM is playing himself in the episode) There were casting calls I believe (I'll go see if I can find a link and edit this post) for New Vegas types again...Most likely this is probably Conner & Charlies mission (as it might be Monroe may have contacts/infor/weapons (???) in his former place of residents)

  9. I think she has to lead the way back to New Vegas...

  10. Title seems to be a reference to the cancelled TV Series, which I have never seen...

But thinking about more conceptually, It either is asking if there can be 'happy endings', or maybe someone dies and/or is rebirthed? -I can't imagine whom Aaron's old friend is, as I'm assuming from the promo for next week's episode that he made contact with Priscilla (and again Grace) already...so maybe one of the new characters (I think KA is a character named Duncan) or maybe a projection/experience relating to Ben again?! I could see Priscilla dying in this one too, unless she is more important than I thought!? But I'm hoping to see Cynthia in one of these too! Would love for Aaron to be with her again one way or another....

  11. From something one of the writer's said, I believe, that we have not seen the last of Cynthia..I would not be surprised if the Nanos take her form to communicate with Aaron. I hope they won't resurrect her as I think resurrections are really hard to believe storylines even for a Sci-FI series. The title "Happy Endings" might be as tongue in cheek as the title "The three Amigos" was...Monroe and Rachel were part of the three amigos and yet can hardly be called friends.
There was also an interview with Billy Burke who said that one of the upcoming episodes is very unusual for the series and was a lot of fun to shoot...I am also wondering if he was speaking of this episode..It nearly sounded to me that the episode he spoke about isn't quite as serious as they normally are. Could also be a reference to "Happy Endings".
Oh and Duncan will be the leader of another warlord thingy (according to another interview) so I think Monroe and co will meet her in this episode. She is supposed to help our gang in their fight against the Patriots.

  12. Yes I know about Cynthia! I just didn't want to blatently spoilerish.

I disagree with resurrection and/or nanite "astral projection" in the image of Cynthia as being bad or unbelievable, because a series that has a metaphysical under belly needs these things as a way to solidify those themes as it pushes towards the greater good and/or the impossible and challenges the characters belief systems...especially if the tagline "hope will light the way" is meant to imply an Utopian ending.

I'm sure it is a reference to Happy Endings, but like other episodes and their pop cultural references do I also suspect a pun on the title like, Happy ENDINGS. Thanks for letting me know about Duncan. I must have missed that one or just didn't remember :)

  13. Hmmm...I must have a dirty mind b/c the happy endings that first came into my mind is that rather ubiquitous term applied to certain massage establishments. I too wonder if it applies to Miles and Rachel. It can refer to the traditional romantic idea or a sexual one, which might indicate that they actually consummate their relationship in this episode. Or it can be a play on the fairytale ideal. Perhaps this is the episode in which everything hits the fan. And finally, it could refer to the Aaron/Priscilla reunion with their friend (Peter?). The idea that the nano family is all back together again.

I'm just really excited to see Monroe and Charlie back in action together...oh yeah, and I guess Connor's coming along too. The character is growing on me a little bit, though Vairo needs to tone back his performance. He's coming off too intense ALL of the time so that he seems more like a caricature than a character; it's what Tracy was criticized for in Season One. I also want to see Connor meet Charlie (probably happen in Captain Trips) because I want to see if the writers are going to try and pair them together. I hope not, but if they do, I want to see what sort of chemistry those two have with each other. Maybe if it's really great and with some tangible sexual tension, I won't be quite as crushed when my Charloe dreams are ground into the dirt. ;-) Which, if I'm reading the constant "old people" jokes, the lack of any interaction between the two after Everybody Says I Love You and Monroe's references to Charlie as a kid/growing up, is a long-shot becoming even less likely with each passing episode. Oh, the disappointment.
