A weekly feature highlighting the best quotes on TV this past week.

Almost Human: 'Simon Says'; 6th January; Karl Urban
Darth Locke:
Kennex: "You know, as crazy as that guy was, he was right about one thing. The black marks, they follow you around. You know, sometimes I walk through his precinct and the way people look at me, like..."

Kennex: "I'll take a half-charged DRN over a fully-charged MX any day."

Banshee: 'Little Fish'; 10th January; Hoon Lee
Sandi:
JOB: “First of all, fuck you! Second of all, I ain't the one shaking off 15 years of mummy rust." This quote was also picked by Sharon Seymour

JOB: "We wouldn't be out here if your lazy ass had dug a deep enough hole the first time!" Job always gets the best lines, he's such a bitch, love him to bits.

Elementary: 'All in the Family'; 9th January; Aidan Quinn, Jonny Lee Miller
Virginia Fontana:
Gregson: "Is there a problem with Detective Nash?" Sherlock: "Too many to enumerate. This chair would be a more suitable collaborator."

Sherlock: "Be my friend, don't be my friend! Whatever. But don't be so foolish as to confuse punishing me with punishing yourself."

NCIS: 'Kill Chain'; 7th January; Rocky Carroll, Mark Harmon
Bradley Adams:
Vance: "Not another one of your ex-wives, is it?" Gibbs: "Close enough." This quote was also picked by Daniel van der Veer

Person of Interest: 'Aletheia'; 7th January; Saul Rubinek/Amy Acker/Chris Bert/Jim Caviezel/Michael Emerson
Bradley Adams:
Arthur: "Harold doesn't need to chase. He's got a certain pull with the female population." Doesn't quite seem it now, does it?

Root: "You think you're in charge. It's adorable just how wrong you are." Root seems to enjoy everything, doesn't she? This quote was also picked by Sharon Seymour

DarkUFO: Young Finch: "If they don't want you to get inside, they ought to build it better."

Reese: "It just proves that no matter what we do or don't do in this world, bad things are going to happen. It's pointless. Irrelevant."

Darth Locke: Arthur: "Everything slides toward chaos. Your creation, it brings us poor souls a cupful of order. Your child is a dancing star." Finch: "It's not my child, it's a machine." Arthur: "A false dichotomy. It's all electricity. Does it make you laugh? Does it make you weep?" Finch: "Yes." Arthur: "What's more human?"

Root: "You still have a scalpel. I'd call that a fair fight."

Revenge: 'Homecoming'; 5th January; Henry Czerny/Nick Wechsler
Pablozky21:
Conrad: "Have you lost your damn mind. I just offered you freedom at my expense and you meet it with reprobation? Ok, alright, fine. If that's the case then next time you are in need of salvation may I suggest that you go down your knees and you pray, because from here on your only hope will be divine intervention from the heavenly father himself because you earthly father IS FINISHED WITH YOU!" This quote was also picked by Sharon Seymour

Virginia Fontana: Jack: "Come back to us, Emily Thorne."

Revolution: 'Three Amigos'; 8th January; David Lyons/Tracy Spiridakos
Bradley Adams:
Monroe: "What'd you do, buy him a hand job and an eight ball?" Ha! Monroe is awesome.

Darth Locke: Charlie: "I stopped yelling at old people. It doesn't get a damn thing done"

Sherlock: 'The Sign of Three'; 5th January; Martin Freeman
Diana Mack:
Watson: "She has completely turned my life around, changed everything. But for the record, over the last few years, there are two people who’ve done that and the other one is… a complete dickhead!"

The Mentalist: 'White Lines'; 5th January; Simon Baker
Diana Mack:
Jane: "Loss has this way of paralysing you and it stops you from moving on with your life."

  5. The Mentalist and Elementary quotes. The Almost Human quotes, plus several funny Dorian quotes and Paul's quotes to his MX. Sherlock had several quotes I liked too, but I don't know them enough to write them here. I liked the Root quotes from POI too; bada$$.

  8. There were a couple from Revolution that really had me smiling this week. The first was when Monroe mocks Connor's attempt at bragging rights: "Thirty men? How do you command so many?" Also loved Monroe's reply to Rachel's barb that Connor would have turned out exactly as he is, no matter where Miles had put him, because he is Bass's son. Monroe: "Well, by that logic, Charlie's gonna grow up to destroy the world." Ha! Loved it.

  10. Arthur & Harold as well as the ones with Root. Prime reason for the former is because the writers made us actually care about a MACHINE.

    "Brood?"
