What's absurd is that the minute she stopped being useful for them they threw her out like she's yesterday's paper, while at the same time they give people like Jenna, or Ali, attitude when they did the same thing. The liars are no angels. Not that Mona's revenge on them (Hanna and Emily in particular) wasn't completely over the top, but when the liars stoop to the same level but still act like they're doing nothing wrong, people are bound to get irritated.
And Mona? Is my favorite character, hands down. She's brilliant, and sarcastic, and a brilliantly deceptive, and a fantastic, fantastic liar.
We still have no idea what her true agenda is here, and have NO reason to trust her completely.
We JUST saw her approach Ezra about getting a "mentor," that whole convo laced with subtext, that she knew exactly who he was and wanted in.
Using people for their own agenda? As in getting answers? To why the hell they have been tortured for years? I'm sorry, but if "over the top," torture – like getting a f*cking ULCER, framed for murder (numerous times), and all the other sh*t, that's happened...isn't reason enough to 'use,' one of the people that caused it, I don't know what is.
Angels, no – but not deserving of the crap that's happened.
There's a difference between wanting answers, and thinking you're justified in getting them by any means necessary. They've done some pretty bad things to people who they suspected of being A. Characters like Garrett may have been creepy, but they were actually letting him go to trial for a murder they knew he didn't commit, because they suspected that he had something to do with A, or Ali's disappearance. They've also yet to apologize for the people that have been hurt by them, and I'm not talking about the people they let Ali bully, I'm talking about the people who've suffered because they happened to be Spencer's "A-suspect of the week", so frankly, I'm having a hard time feeling more sympathy for them than I do for some of the supposed antagonists on this show.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Spencer on drugs ! This will be fun...
ReplyDeleteUm, did Mona really expect to be besties after all the hell she put them through? ...Besides Han, they weren't even her friends in the first place.
ReplyDeletetrue but Mona stil has a point, she is right
ReplyDeleteShe HIT Hanna with a freaking car...Yeah, bullying sucks and all, but pretty sure Ali & the girls never tried to physically hurt her.
ReplyDeleteAnd having them forgive her is one thing, but wanting to be, 'part of the inner circle,'?
That's a little absurd.

ReplyDeleteGoing to have to agree to disagree.
