    Ending was predictable as f*** but I have been wanting this for so long!! Please make it happen permanently (It probably won't though) =(

    You know what, my dislike of Damon was never because of what Damon does, it was because his fans would go to absolutely absurd degrees to dismiss everything he does. But you know what? That changed this episode. I actually dislike Damon for what he has done. He was a hypocrticial douche this ENTIRE episode, right alongside Elena, and blaming Katherine for every bad thing he's ever done just makes me dislike him even more. I was starting to like him because he took responsbility for his own actions! Now he's saying every bad thing he's ever done is linked to Katherine? How pathetic is that! He seemed really damn determined to make Katherine as miserable as possible before she dies.

    And don't even get me started on Elena. She doesn't have the right to give Stefan a hard time over who he sleeps with! She was dating his BROTHER! I am so sick of that woman's selfishness.

    Luckily the fandom wasn't tolerating it either. For once in a very long time, the people who are sick of their shit far outnumbered the people who keep excusing everything they do. It was a moment of pride for me.

    As for Katherine, is anyone REALLY surprised by that ending. I've read about people predicting it for months. I'm kind of excited by the prospect. Was it kind of a horrible thing to do? Yes. But it also means Katherine has a way to torment Damon in return for how he treated her, and right now that feels like a damn good idea.

    As for Klaroline, I bet the shippers are happy. I semi-ship them. I'm only interested in that ship because it would be interesting to watch, but I'm not even slightly emotionally invested in it.

    overall a completely 'meh' episode, every character that guested BUT Klaus had only one scene. Klaroline got forced into the whole thing making the entire episode feel like a cover story for Klaroline.


    Now that is an episode that deserves a clear: FUDGE YOU SHOW


    And with the 100th episode I'll end my run of sticking with this show since the pilot, it has evovled into a shipper pleasing bullsh*t paradise that only cares about shippers.

    Saw that ending a million miles away. I liked seeing some old characters. I really wasn't satisfied with the Klaus Caroline pairing. Could have done without it. And I agree that is was a very meh ep. For me, this show's writing has gone downhill for awhile. I think they should have let Katherine die and been done with the doppelganger thing already. It's been way too played out for too long. I didn't even want to watch this ep. I'm much happier with The Originals.

    Pure fan service. Klaroline is gross, worse than Forwood. And Damon blaming Katherie for the bad things he's done shows how proud his fans should be for him proving that he's as mature as a 3 year old toddler.

    Great episode, granted I'm no longer a regular viewer, I watch every once in awhile if I'm bored or the promo looks entertaining so I might have a different view than a dedicated viewer.

    I loved seeing all the old characters again, from back when I used to watch regularly. I teared up a little seeing Alaric and Damon's reaction to it.

    I knew the ending was coming and was actually rooting Katherine on, she's a fun character to have around, delightfully evil. I also enjoyed the Klaus/Caroline scene but I love both characters and I'm loving The Originals so I was happy to see Bex and "Elijah" show up.

    I expected sh*t and got something worse. I mean...how...HOW do you f** up an episode that is supposed to celebrate the entire being of a show ? By celebrating ONE ship and completely neglecting the thought of an engaging storyline. What was this episodes storyline ? Put Kat into Elenas body. Great that was it.

    The ghosts appearing to Kat should have been seen longer than a second. Klaus should have been showin in one scene like the rest. Not shoved down our throats again. Equal character rights. Alaric was in more episodes than him and only got a short scene...

    This episode stands for everything that is bad with TVD: shipping

    Called it!!! Katherine went into Elena's body. I couldn't even tear for Katherine, b/c i knew she would do it. BUT, I did like their talk. Ok i'm gonna keep this short, b/c i got a pretty good buzz going. (Omg so many shots). Ok FIRST unfuckingbelievable!!!! FROM THIS DAY FORTH, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR SHIT OUT OF CAROLINE'S MOUTH INVOLVING DAMON AND ELENA EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


    I was keeping my hopes alive, for the Steroline kiss, but noooooooooooooooooo. Had to be Klaroline. I swear to god i could hear every Klaorline shipper out there screaming off the top of their lungs, INCLUDING, my stupid cousin. (she also ships them). I'm so mad, i can't even say congrats to the Klaroliner's. 3. 3 yrs i've been waiting. And idc, idc idc idc idc idc idc idc idc idc idc how much you guys hate me right now. I don't. Call me a hater, call me what you will, idc. Of ALL the ships out there, You guys SOMEHOW, got Klaroline first!! Wtf??? Ughh. Unbelievable. W/eeeeee moving on.


    It was SOO SOO SOOO SOOO great to see everybody!!! OMG THE FEELS!!! Jenna, Emily, Alaric, Vicki!!, Hell even John!!!! That was amazing, and it felt sooooo good to see them!! And i have to admit, when I saw Rebekah, be there when Matty woke up, i was smiling!!! I had a 700 watt smile!!! It was soooo cute!!!. I loved how they recreated Katherine's flashbacks, and how Damon was in her head. And with Stefan, i thought, OMG, is he giving her, her dream??? Now granted it was a nice dream (and the first time we've ever seen Stefan do that) but it wasn't as great as Damon's with Rose. But it was still sooooo sweet!!


    Nadia, pissed me off. And i really enjoyed Stefan and Damon's moment on the roof. Tyler coming back...can you say awkward??. Yeah Caroline you screw the worst enemy ever, and then the "love of your life" (your words without the Be) comes along out of thin air. AND I KNEW REBEKAH RELEASED HIM!!!! Totally called that!!! As a parting gift though??? They couldn't get a better reason than that???? Anyways, I loveddddd the 100th episode, it was amazing, and that's all i can say. Cuz i got my buzz going.


    Oh speaking of buzz, when Damon handed Stefan the drink, and Stefan was rambling on and on about Katherine's life, i thought, JFC!!! Kill my buzz why dontcha?!?!? After that, I had to chug some. lol Cuz geez!! Way to take a party and flush it down the toilet.....Sigh, i love this show, forever and always, idc how much it has plummeted in the last season or w/e. But this show will ALWAYS be my number one, even if i don't agree with there decisions. I'm gonna get back to my alcohol, cuz it's waiting for me. haha Can't wait for next week. Very excited for the second half of this season.

    I really disliked how Damon blamed Katherine for everything that happened to him. He knew she was a vampire and wanted to become one and he even went out with her when she killed people.

    I'm not at all surprised that Katherine jumped into Elena - I figured that was coming.

    Since they decided to do Klaus/Caroline I wish they would have had a better sex scene.

    I really liked Stefan in this episode and how he acknowledged that Katherine did have a bad past and that not every bad think that has ever happened was her fault.

    I wonder if we'll find out in the next episode what the travelers needed doppelganger blood for.

    It was so obvious, especially when they released the title of the next episode as "The Devil Inside", oh and the press release for this one saying "Elena & Katherine share a moment". Still if they have the balls to truly get rid of Elena then I will forgive the writers for the past 2 and a half season I endured.

    I really disliked damon this episode blaming everything he has done on Katharine.


    Katharine In elena's body Is what Is keeping me watching at this point.Writing for elena has gotten worse and worse.If they have to keep Nina DObrev playing one character I vote Katharine.


    I have liked Katharine and stefan since season 2 so I like their scenes.


    They have caroline and klaus hook up now they are on different shows-That's crazy.

    I wish they'd have utilized some of their special guests more... like, really? A line or two each and *poof* onto the next one? :( I know they only have 42 minutes to work with, but I felt let down. It's like Julie bit off more than she could chew. The episode just felt rushed to me. It left my head spinning.

    Yeah, I called it too when we found out Katherine's body was dying I should've known this was the "Surprising twist" that was being talked about. I knew the Klaroline kiss was going to happen but I was being hopeful and positive like I always am and was wrong about that. I know right? There could of been a Stefan and Caroline kiss at least once this season or in previous seasons maybe when his memories were even gone.

    Now I understand why Paul Wesley said that it felt just like any other episode. The scandalous sex and appearance of the Originals satisfied a lot of fans I'm sure, but their presence in Mystic Falls this week was anticlimactic, 100th episode or not. Since Klaus knew about the breakup, I think he came up with the perfect revenge against Caroline for unleashing a vengeful hybrid on New Orleans, but what were Rebecca and Tyler doing there so soon, and why were Rebecca and Klaus working together? I don't buy that they were there because Damon called Klaus. There's no way they could have gotten there so fast. The only explanation I can think of is that this episode was supposed to take place between later episodes of the Originals. There were some uneven time gaps over the winter hiatus. I read something about unexpected visitors on the Originals. It's not technically a "body switcheroo" unless Elena ends up in Katherine or someone else's body. Maybe someone will put a dagger to Elena's body to kill Katherine? The promo shows something different from what was described in the synopsis for next week's episode. It would have been better if the Originals showed up later, but apparently it was all about getting back at Caroline for giving Tyler nowhere else to go and nothing to lose. I think Klaus got her good. She is going to lose a lot of friends.

    As for Katherine, idk what else to say. I knew it would happen, but i thought i would be wrong. Like she had ONE shining moment, to do the right thing and it didn't happen....Maybe, next yr, for the Steroline kiss. What disappoints me is that Caroline caved soooo easily!! (Let's just call it what it is, Klaus is worse than Damon) After EVERYTHING. I couldn't believe it. Sighh, i need to get some air. Be back in 15.

    I actually thought he meant that he didn't kill Tyler - he left him alive and so forth. It was Rebekah who put Tyler in the Garden (I don't think we ever saw anything to indicate that Klaus knew that).

    I think Caroline's been attracted to him for a while and she hates that she has feelings for him (so it was nice to hear that out loud) but she does. It's a similar dilemma that Elena faced in Season 3 - she developed feelings for Damon but she didn't want to act on them because she it made her think badly about herself.

    Klaus knew how to make her cave. He said that he was never coming back, which might or might not have been true, but I think he wanted closure because of her role in what Tyler did. I hope it gets cleared up in a couple of weeks exactly what we're missing. Shouldn't we have seen how Tyler got out? We didn't miss how he ended up going to New Orleans to begin with. It was weeks before he kidnapped Hayley. I think a conversation was had in New Orleans that led to what happened in this episode, and that conversation hasn't been had yet on The Originals.

    True. But there was that scene in early in early Season 3 where Caroline wanted Elena to admit that she was attracted to him and Elena's response was something like "If I admit it - then what does that say about me?" and I think that's pretty much how Caroline feels now.

    Idc what Klaus said! I refuse to believe with The Originals only being in its' first season, and TVD in it's 5th, and going on to it's sixth, that Klaus won't return, for w/e reason. Sure he wanted closure, but i HIGHLY doubt he won't return before TVD series is over. As for Tyler. I don't have anything to say about that. As you said, I think we'll have that cleared up in The Originals. Not TVD.

    I think Caroline has valid reasons not to like Damon (primarily the way he treated her like a toy in Season 1). But she doesn't seem to really face the root of her problem with Damon - so she spouts off all this stuff about how he's such a horrible person (and some of it could even be her projecting because she feels like it's wrong for her and Klaus to be together and it's equally wrong for Elena to be with Damon).

    For now, I'm going to assume that the travelers needed the doppelganger blood for the passenger spell, but I thought all they needed was a dagger to make someone a traveler. Maybe someone else needed Stefan and Elena's blood for a different spell. I'm trying to figure out how Elena is supposed to be free of Katherine without someone finally killing Katherine. Elena can't be put in Katherine's old body without the cure being a problem, so there really isn't a body switch.

    We've heard Caroline, say she had feelings for Klaus, that wasn't brand new information. But the fact that she was BEGGING Tyler to be the love of her life, and THEN Sleep with Klaus is what pisses me off. I don't even care for Forwood. or that she was Horny and needed to get some!! It was ridiculous nonetheless. And it's NOT similar b/c Damon did A LOT for Elena, and it wasn't just to win her over. He NEVER thought Elena would fall for him, no matter what he did. It took Elena A LOT longer to be with Damon, than it took for Caroline to sleep with Klaus.

    Pretty obvious that Kat was going to jump into Elena's body. I think we ALL called that from the moment the traveler stuff was introduced.
    I'm really disappointed Elijah apparently stayed in NO with Hayley rather then visit Katherine on her death bed. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
    Loved the Klaroline, I don't believe for a second that he's never going to go back to MF. Hehe.
    The ghosts popping up at the end was nice. Logically it should happen much more often with Bonnie and Jeremy but yeah, it'd be probably too expensive and probably hard to justify giving the ghosts screentime every week.

    This whole episode was boring. I mean true fans of the show have been waiting for Katherine to die since the first time we saw her. And to make it so that she is in Elena's body, come on that is just so unoriginal. You might as well just kept Katherine alive and her evil ways. Can we please get some new writing already I am so ready for a new evil villain to come to town and try to destroy the group. I miss seeing people from town getting killed and trying to figure out who and what is behind coming after them. I am so over this show. Also the whole Klaus and Caroline hook up, please that was just nasty. Bringing Klaus and Rebekah back without some kind of torture was pointless. Seeing Alaric was nice. But everything else in the episode was dull.

    I never read the books so I never knew how they were then but yeah I've liked Steroline since season two especially how their friendship developed so quickly and what's funny is Caroline had a thing for him in the Pilot who knows she probably still has a thing for him but she doesn't want to admit it.

    In the books they were a couple before he met Elena. So i think her having a crush of Stefan in season 1 was an ode to that. And i absolutely LOVED their friendship in season 2.

    tbh while i really wanted the kiss to be between steroline, realistically it didnt make sense with stefan and katherine going on, and the katherine dying situation. being both fans of klaroline and steroline im just hoping that if klaus really is never coming back then maybe there's hope for steroline afterall. i know its a far stretch but i really want them to be endgame!

    With Steferine, it was a one night stand, Caught in the moment. It meant more to Katherine than it did to Stefan. so for me, it would have been realistic. BUT, i could see Caroline being really upset about that. It's not their time. (Steroline) but i guarantee something will happen with them before the series is over. See but you got the best of two worlds. You ship both, so i'm sure you're happy with what went down tonight. haha

    I can't decide what was worse. Having to endure an entire episode of Katherine on her deathbed only to see her live in the end, or Caroline having sex with Klaus, the person responsible for the death of so many of her loved ones. The best part of Katherine dying was watching the others take shots while they reminisced about all of the terrible things she did..

    i cannot believe what writer's will do to appease a group of fans....television was much more fun to watch when viewers weren't influencing what was being written....klaroline is THE WORST worst thing to happen to this show...why in the hell bring back klaus to TVD so he could pretend that he's never coming back in order to get in caroline's pants...& how on earth can she continue to call herself a friend to anyone when she's running her self righteous mouth about how damon is the most evil person ever and elena should not be with him....UMMMMMMM OK

    Well it was certainly more surprising then Kat "poofing" into Elena's body! I wonder if this means Caroline's confession is going to be to Elena or Kat then? It's safe to say she went straight to the boarding house afterwards too because she was still pulling leaves out of her hair and trying to cover for the fact that she was shirtless, lol.     They did not need doppelganger blood to do the passenger spell. In 5x01 all they did was a spell to make Matt a passenger. I think the blood will be for something else.


    Elena is still in her body, from the promo they plan on killing Elena by putting Elena in Kat's body (which is why they want it back from the Salvatore's) and have Kat take over Elena's body permanently.

    I even made a post 3 or 4 episodes ago predicting Katherine would hop in Elena's body and the resulting chaos as they had to share the body... really predictable. I had hoped they wouldn't go that route and would instead have her jump into a new actress who could take over the Katherine role rather than Nina doing both.

    The Elijah & Katherine moment would have been beautiful if it had been real.Out of all the Originals he deserved to be there.Im a huge Klaroline fan but disappointed in what we got,why drag it out for them to just have sex in the woods?I defiantly knew about Kat taking over Elena's body early on in the season.This body hopping is now so overplayed it's sick.It just seems like they're running out of things to do.Gr8 episode no but it was good.I hope they improve for the 200th,if they make it there.Not looking to promising.

    Sure, it wasn't an amazing episode, but I still thought it was awesome. Personally, I didn't really see Katherine jumping into Elena's body because I haven't been focused on figuring out the story lines of this season. So, you may say it was predictable, but I truly didn't see it coming. I didn't see it coming from a mile away.


    I loved the fact they brought back many characters even if it was for a one sentence thing like Jenna and John. It was awesome to see them though! And Alaric! Boy, I had a field day with see everyone back. Even Vicki! Telling Matt not to be with Rebekah, haha.


    And I am a Klaus/Caroline shipper and I may have gone a little overboard when they finally kissed which led to sex. I would have been just happy with a single kiss.


    What's the point of Tyler being back in Mystic Falls? I don't see one. I used to like him but now, he's becoming really annoying.

    This is my problem with most of the CW shows, particularly anything with Plec's name on it. The writers cater way too much to the demands of fans, and even if the show starts off with promise, the plot often becomes derailed, because the writers become obsessed with pleasing the most vocal fan groups. It's like the internet version of high school peer pressure, where the most vocal and forceful fans get whatever they want and the silent fans have little say In a world where majority rules, this would be OK, except for the fact that the people who are most vocal on the internet are really not representative of the average viewer. .


    At this point, I don't even ship any particular couple....If the relationship makes sense with the plot, then I'll accept it,.I just want the writers to develop a sensible plot that isn't influenced by shippers or whether or not the actor happens to be one of Plec's favorites. In other words, develop a plot and have the backbone to stick with it. The writers could take a few queues from some of the CBS and cable shows, where, the writers seem far less prone to fan-service.

    I don't watch tvd anymore, though I sometimes read recaps about the episodes and watch the promos so I didn't really care for everything else that was going on in the episode. though that scene where Damon was going to smother Kathy with a pillow (I kind of imagine it was going to be Klaus putting the pillow over her face) was great. I only saw this (not live) because I wanted my closure with Klaus and Caroline and I got it, now I can move on with my life. though I think that scene where Caroline admitted that she had feelings for him and then kissed should have been their last scene from the season four finale instead of the whole "I will be your last love" which was very misleading to the already crazy fans.

    Considering what a hit the show has been with giving the CW it's best Tues in years, I'd imagine that'd quell any fears Candace would have about joining a failing show. Then again, I don't see her joining for anything less then a lead since she's had such a little role on TVD for so long. I'd imagine she wouldn't be cool for settling for that again for a number of years.
    So I am cool with her staying on TVD for now, as long as their are crossovers and they will actually mention each other in non crossover eps now.

    I really liked the episode i was watching witha friend and he got out of the room when Katehrine woke up after she saw she was nearly dead, he was pissed she`s alive and i couldnt be more happy, the show would be ruin without Katherine bringing them down, but one thing i dislike C`MON how many times has Katherine pretended to eb Elena¿? i lost count they could find another body or something....
    Favoirite Moment not on the Katerine plot line: Klaus and Caroline having wild sex in the woods, i was looking for that for along time, now Matt you need to go to New Orleans and Carolien go there too im sure you will enjoy it you wiould be the perfect stepmom!

When Stefan was going off the walls with his actions, humanity, off or not, she didn't say a damn thing!! In her eyes, it's like it NEVER happened. The only thing we got out of her was "I miss the old Stefan". Wtf was that?? She wouldn't even check to see if Elena was ok!! And she's suppose to be more of a best friend to Elena, than she is to Stefan. In Caroline's eyes, Stefan can do no wrong, and she doesn't judge him for Anything he does. And THAT'S what i'm mad about.

    The episode was ok. It was nice to see everyone again. It was nice to see Klaroline hook-up. It definitely beats Gossip Girl's 100th episode (which was terrible). The "shocker" at the end wasn't really that shocking. We all could have predicted that she would go into Elena's body. Everyone knew that the second we heard she was a traveler. It would have been better if she went into Damon's body and tried to hit Stefan. That would be a storyline, lol.

TVD needs a new threat...and having Katherine possess Elena's body? Too predictable. This episode, in my opinion, would have served better as a mid-season finale, or a season finale...but not somewhere in between.

    It was great when they were drinking to Katerinas death. The rest was so predictable. Especially
    Katerina possessing Elena. I waited so long for the bitch to die and now she gets another chance to again ruin Elenas live. Like she didn't do enough.
    And again they tried to get our sympathy for Katerina by showing us that she was just a poor 17 years old girl that was almost sacrificed by a psychopathy after her father took away her newborn and kicked her out. Oh, please. There are millions of people going thru hell. Kids that are raped, abused and left by their parents. And most of them are not turning into mas murdering psychopaths.
    But it was great when they were drinking to her death. And it was great to see all the old characters again. John and Jenna and Alaric.

    It's frustrating isn't it? For me, the element that made me keep watching during the first season and even champion the show to my friends was the fact that the story would be heading for a predictable conclusion or a cliched moment and purposely do something different. This show used to be on my 'must watch the night it airs' list. Now several episodes may build up before I watch. And I watch mostly because of Damon and Caroline. I really like their characters.

    I snotted all over myself when Stephan was saying goodbye to Kathryn. (Downloaded the song playing in background LOVE IT) then I Yelled "GET IT CAROLINE!! U GO GIRL!" FINALLY SOME KLAUS/CAROLINE ACTION! I mean did u all really expect CAROLINE to sit & wait for Tyler yet again? I didn't! Tyler walked out 1 too many X's.
    The writers for the show ESPECIALLY JULIE PLEC ARE ABSOLUTLY AMAZING! (I'm a writer & I have to say KUEDOS)
    You truly find yourself either loving, hating or loving to hate these characters & most shows you have to wait for the season finale to see a TRULY FANTASTIC EPISODE but with TVD, you get one EVERY SINGLE EPISODE!!
    Lol it was so funny how Marcel told Klaus on The Originals "that Klaus needs to visit Mystic Falls more often" because Klaus came back in such a great mood. HMMMM I WONDER WHY? Great way to keep the shows intertwined in real time:)
