  1. gave it an ok this time... I was hoping that they'd give us some different shades of the (imo) one note characters of Hitake and the useless head of security, but to no avail at this point. I don't know what it is, but this show has the potential, but isn't executing for me.... I'll give it one more ep where I hope to see some improvement, otherwise it'll be just an extra hour to catch up on the backlog from the shows from earlier in the week

  2. I really want to like this show, but it just doesn't make sense. Too much relying on horror effects and not enough on good plotting.

It was my favorite so far. The plot thickens. It's a scifi horror mystery. It's going to take a while to unspool. I like that a mystery (is X infected or not?) was solved immediately and more questions were raised. The soundtrack is incredibly well done, too. Very creepy.

  4. Love the show. Best SyFy series since, I dunno, Being Human?

  5. Tonights episode was even better then last weeks. Wasn't as scary as last weeks though. Watched both today. I really liked the homage to Alien(one of my favorite horror movies) in the pilot. I think show has the potential to become really good week in week out.

  6. Bah can't even include BH since they stole it from the BBC. ;) Maybe the best SciFi since BSG & Stargate.

  7. Stole but made it better in various areas and plot.

  8. - I like how every episode takes place over the course of one day.
    - I don't get why Doreen lied to Alan. Keeping it from Hatake is understandable but from Alan? That was out of line and I hope she comes clean sometime soon.
    - I'm glad they didn't drag out the hunt for Peter but I didn't expect him to turn himself in.
    - Aerov lied about the monkeys, so I don't believe for a second that the abandoned project was about controlled fusions.
    - Those scared monkeys gotta be the creepiest aspect of the show. I wonder what they were running from.

  9. Awesome episode, this episode really made me love the concept of the show and making it an early contender of show of the year

  10. I like the show but some things are...strange. She passes out in the shower and has still time to grab a towel? ;-)

  11. When she was waking up, Alan was shown covering her up with that towel.

  12. I could be wrong, but I think the show was trying a new way to convey that Doreen didn't remember the attack. I think the flashes she was getting afterwards were the only parts she actually remembered until she finally gave herself the test.

  13. I'm smell a corrupt pharmaceutical cooperation is behind all this and now the army guy is trying to make sure non of this gets out.

Black Goo reminds me of the Black Symbiote except instead of consuming the host from the outside this one consumes the host from the inside
