That was great! Monroe's parents are gross. Poor Rosalee. I don't like that she left, but I understand why she did. And oh shit at that cliffhanger. And now we have to wait a month to find out what's going to happen! Rude, Olympics.
Loved this ep! they did a really good job balancing all the storylines together, but of course the Monroe/Rosalee plot was great and loved the setup of the battle that is to come with the scalp hunter and Nick.... gonna be a good one really got a kick out of the end card - Oh #@$%* for sure!!!!
I officially hate the promo monkeys....how the hell could the spoil the cliffhanger? I so wanted to know what happens next and now I'll have to wait for ages! The skin coat was gross! As is Adalind's baby - do we really want that thing to get born?
I got to the end of the episode and felt like one of the South Park kids. "Those Bastards!" :-) There was a moment where it occurred to me that there were three stories going on tonight. I should have expected the 'To Be Continued'.
Awesome ep for me. Also very educational. I learned...when you make a deal with evil Hexenbeasts there will be consequences and they will be painful....and probably not the consequences you expected. The coat... Monroe's proposal was incredibly sweet. (Oh! they happen to be airing Dee Wallace's movie "The Howling" on cable tonight. Cool!) Of course Nick arrives at the worst possible moment. That Scalp Coat is kinda squicky. Ewwwww
I love it a Berzerker with a Hair shirt no less. I loved the sweet proposal. I loved the Parent's reaction to Roselee and then Nick too funny! Poor Roselee and I wonder how Nick will subdue two enraged Blutbaden.
That was really and awesome, episode so much going on stayed on the edge of my seat, and to have to wait so long to see it resolved, as the to be continued sign loomed on **oh s******t
I was looking forward to the confrontation between Nick and Monroes' parents they were teasing in the promo and now it's the cliffhanger? With no new episodes for a month? I think I'm really pissed right now.
One thing I was wondering though...was Rosalee cooking Bratwurst? Is that an American thing? Because a cooked bratwurst is no longer a bratwurst! Or is that some other kind of sausages?
Waiting sucks but it will be well worth it just to see if Nick and Monroe's parents go at it. I have a feeling things are going to get very weird on Grimm.
I waited the whole episode just for Monroe's parents. Their reaction was a little more serious than I thought it would be, but I still thought it was a great scene. Lots of fun to watch. My siblings and I commiserate and get amused with each other, when our parents have reactions like this to our respective boyfriends/girlfriends. I'm curious to see further explanation regarding the serious reaction Monroe's parents had. Are their fears unfounded? Is their real danger to interspecies wesen dating? The episode flew by so fast, I didn't even realize an hour had passed. Reading the comments, I'm even more bummed that I have to wait so long for the continuation. Still, what an entertaining episode!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteCan't wait for Adalind to have the baby.

ReplyDeleteNot fair, we have to wait a month!

ReplyDeleteGreat episode, loved the whole parallel to mixed race relationships. And of course Nick showing up at the end was the icing on the cake.
