I am not as excited about the open-ended continuation of a Moriarty storyline as the showrunners are, so I'm happy it's over for now and hope they will turn their talents to similar careful consideration of Watson.
This episode was boring. I hope the writers have more in their arsenal because if the rest of the season becomes overwrought Moriarty I am not that interested.

this ep was everything
ReplyDeletefantastic return ep.... awesome scenes with Moriarty vs Sherlock, and the Moriarty vs Watson scene as well......
ReplyDeleteThis episode was just brilliant. It wasn't how I expected Moriarty to return at all. Natalie Dormer is such a fantastic actress

ReplyDeletePhenomenal work by Natalie Dormer, who in turn brought out the A-Game of all the regular son the show!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I missed was Detective Bell but I understand why he wasn't in more of the ep.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good episode, but I wasn't really excited about Moriarty's return (and I was hoping that she would reveal a cunning plan regarding Watson sometime in the near future). I was expecting her to be more 'evil', yes I know the word is cliché...sorry. I just felt that she was different this time around compared to the season 1 finale. All I can say is that Holmes still feels a connection (probably romantic??) for Moriarty?? I just hope they're not trying to redeem the character, that would feel wrong for me. Maybe other will disagree with me.
ReplyDeleteI'm just glad to move forward from this and get back to Holmes and Watson solving cases again :)

ReplyDeleteNatalie Dormer is killing it as Moriarty, best Moriarty the Elementary showrunners could ever pick. Amazing episode, I loved every minute of it.
