I was already ready to ditch this one in the no pile, but then they kidnapped that sweet little kid and now I have to watch next week. I see what you did there Chicago PD PTB and i'm giving you the stinkeye because of it.
Decent enough pilot, kind of reminds me of the Shield except with a less compelling lead than Vic, but with added bonus of Sophia Bush. I'll keep watching, but Sophia Bush is probably going to keep me going in this show.
I am so excited; way better than I imagined and I loved seeing some of the Chicago Fire cast in it. Sad the blonde cop died; ugh! & SHE HAS FREAKING CHILDREN not to mention her husband is a doctor. I hope her storyline won't completely die (at least of her family)
The pilot exceeded my expectations! I really like Jason, Tony and Lindsay. And surprisingly Boyd too. He dOeS have a heart..... ;). I know there have been a lot of cast coming and going, but I hope these four stick with it. Too many changes once I'm invested this early will turn me off. JMO
Didn't think I'd watch, so glad I did. Really enjoyed it. Love the crossovers with Chicago Fire. Great cast. Loved seeing Sophia Bush in a completely different role than in OTH
Really really liked it! The Chicago Fire touches were great! I hope they keep doing them but I doubt it. Loved Sophia Bush! Sad the blond cop had to die. I liked her.
I liked how they did it in Chicago Fire. We would occasionally see Darden's wife show up but she was not constant. And, I am sorry but I do want to see what happens. She had 2 young kids. I wanna know what do you do after something like that hits.
I enjoyed the pilot... I especially like how the pilot was not what was showed in the promos. That's the next episode!! I like that... So far I like the cast & I'm already wanting to know what's Voight & Lindsay's back story & connection. The cast are easy on the eyes as well. I'm going to love Detective Olinsky already. Only thing I didn't like is the cop dying in the first episode. It was written just like Chicago Fire pilot. But it's not all bad. I can't wait to see what else is in stored for the season. I'm loving this show already & I like the crossovers. Just be consistent. Dawson is no longer a EMT as of Tuesday night but she's the EMT that arrives with Shay in the pilot. So far they appearances on Chicago Fire been consistent with the storyline. Let;s do the same here
I just want to know when in the timeline of events on Chicago fire this takes place. It's obviously before tuesday's episode because Dawson is still a paramedic but you can't honestly tell me her nephew is kidnapped and she never mentions it at all on Chicago fire?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
FUCKING AWESOME!!

ReplyDeleteThey didn't pull back any punches did they? I wanted her to live a little bit longer, lave all the cast! I'm loving this already.
ReplyDeleteSophia Bush was amaaazing! I only started watching Chicago Fire because I saw the Chicago PD BTS pic with her in it!
ReplyDeleteI'm sad she died too but I really hope they don't drag the story/her family into more than the next episode. P.S. Yep it was an awesome pilot.
