Well exactly what I didn't want to happen to Wendell happened. And God, that was a depressing episode. They gave him the worst form of it, too! I'm glad he decided to change his mind about leaving and is going to fight. Awww at Brennan hugging him.
I thought this was a pretty good episode. Poor Wendell =( It sounded like he may have had a family history of it too (he mentioned his father getting chemo).
The conversation with Booth, wow! I loved how Brennan choked up when she was giving Wendell the news, she has grown so much over the years. This is such a great show, even though tonight's episode was sad. Please don't kill off Wendell, let him get well! They've already killed Mr. Vincent Nigel-Murray and Zach is never to be seen again, leave poor Wendell alone!
This episode was so sad! Not only because of Wendell (which really took me by surprise) but also the case itself, when Angela and Cam were listening to the victim's music I felt like crying, like thah feeling you get when the world looses a great talent, even thou it wass fiction, I know. But kudos to the writters for getting me so involved.
This is the best season of Bones in a long time. Each episode has been amazing. This one was incredible again, I was really depressed and touched by it. Poor Wendell. They really like to torment my favorite interns, first by killing off Vincent and now giving Wendell cancer. But I am glad they are giving hi this storyline. David Boreanz, Emily Deschanel and Michael Bay were all amazing, kuddos to them
Terrific episode but so sad....Loved the sweet little vignette of B&B dancing. I love the little romantic moments between them. Would love to see MORE!
Awful! So the guy plays country music and they can tell from the chords he uses how he felt? How about if he played heavy metal? They'd said he was "angry" all the time? How about if he played prog rock? I bet they could really tell his mind set on a 20-min epic piece of music. So silly.
That's exactly what they did. The writers came up with a country musician because it's easy to sell the idea that the write their boring music based on their emotion. "love songs" and "anthems". How about a musician who writes original music like say Gentle Giant? You're not going to guess what those musicians were feeling by listening to their songs. Silly concept.
Didn't Angela say "yeha, my dad said that minor chords are sad" or something? Are you telling me they didn't imply that he was sad because he used "sad chords"? Also, my point still stands. They had a victim who was a country singer so he wrote LYRICS that show exactly what he was feeling... how lucky. If they had found a musician who just writes interesting music and doesn't give a damn about lyrics, they couldn't have figured anything out.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteAwful sad, awfully good?
ReplyDeleteThis truly has been a wonderful season! One of the best! They sure love to put our emotions through the wringer, though.
ReplyDeleteI felt the mystery was predictable, and I felt the Wendall story was melodramatic to force a reaction

You seem to be alone in that opinion.

ReplyDeleteDude, you weren't paying attention, were you? That's NOT what they did.
ReplyDeletePS: No one else agrees with you.
ReplyDeleteExcept for that one other guy above apparently...

ReplyDeleteWhatever, dude. Just stop watching the show if you hate it so much. They've already been renewed, so it's not like one less viewer is gonna matter.
