I liked it. It wasn't HILARIOUS, but it was pretty funny. I love when they seperate the characters, and make them have their own little arc. Like Raj and Howard going to ask Amy out for lunch. Having more Stuart is always good. And Penny and Sheldon doing yoga....priceless! And there were so many great lines tonight! "Does Sheldon know you're dating Sheldon?" " And who are you dating?" "Knock it off Howard!" And "How did you get Sheldon to do yoga?" "Well in all honesty i thought she said Yoda." Lmfao
Quite good on the comedy side, not good at all on the Leonard and Penny side. They're loooooong overdue to give the relationship a little balance. Doesn't have to be totally balanced, this is a sitcom after all, but the current state is just a little ridiculous. This was a decent opportunity to do so, but instead they just made Leonard even more whipped (which I previously thought impossible). But Howard and Raj helping Amy reject a guy was hilarious, as was Bernadette's trip to the other comic book store.
I'm with you. And I support Penny wanting to get more serious about her acting career. But it's gonna be hard to pay for headshots, gas for driving to auditions and rent when she has NO income.
It was a pleasant ep but not awesome. I did like the way that Leonard got himself out of the dog house at the end of the episode. Best bit was Sheldon agreement to discuss their (Leonard, Penny and Sheldon) relationship and where it was going.
I liked the episode, too but not like outrageously hilarious. However, I did like how Raj, Howard and Amy having a scene together while Sheldon was "forced" to take a vacation. It was funny how he hated those! I'm like, "At least, you get to relax, buddy!"
Eh. I thought for sure after last week that with the news of quitting her job she would ask Leonard to move in with her. But nope, just same old junk. Will she move in with him when she can't pay her rent in two months??
My DVR cut off the very end, but I caught a flash of Brian Posehn driving Raj and Howard, probably to the rock show. That's funny. Bernadette using that voice is always funny. Pretty good episode. As for Penny quitting, well now she has that TV role on her resume, so as soon as she learns to pronounce NCIS, I think she's saleable.
Yeah it wasn't hilarious. Ha! that's what u were thinking? i was thinking, "enjoy your Vacation, and stop acting like a dog!!!" haha i mean i know that's mostly what we saw through all the promos. But sometimes i don't like that. I don't like when they do that to his character. I kinda thought they were over treating him like some sort of animal, or a 4 yr old child. I mean it's cute sometimes, and it's just a turn off others (for me anyway). like dude is in his 30s, and yes he's fragile, but he is in fact a genius, not some lab experiment. You know what i mean? Sheldon will always be my number one, but i just dislike when they write him like that now, we're in season 7. I like when he has more mature moments. (but not too mature).
It's always nice to see Amy interact with the rest of the group without Sheldon and it was so sweet of them to think of her and invite her to have lunch with them so she wouldn't be lonely without Sheldon and them helping her with Burt was hilarious
"Amy: he is not my boyfriend. Raj: are you sure? he is tall, pale and awkward that sounds like your type. Amy: should someone as lonely as you really be making fun of me? Raj: yeah, grow up Howard!."
"Raj: and does Sheldon know you're dating Sheldon? Amy: I'm sorry who are you dating? Raj: yeah, Knock it off Howard!" hahahaha just like when Raj was staying at Howard and Bernadette's and they blamed him for their fighting LOL
Sheldon and Penny never get old those two together are the purest definition of comedy LOL as for Leonard and Penny I actually see both their points Penny is right if she really wants to be serious about acting she needs "the fear" just like Rachel on Friends she needs to take the leap and leonard is right too what if she can't make it as an actress how is she going to cover her rent and her expenses? It's gonna be tough but Leonard has to support her in the coming days.
As usual more Stuart = happy me :D I love him and really feel sad for him maybe he can get a loan and expand his store like the other one I really want to see him happy.
i was an idiot when i saw Tuesday episode of NCIS lol That small scene where saw Hollis and Gibbs on TBBT at first i was assuming they were showing a past episode but when i heard the exact lines on Tuesday i was like it's Dejavu again lol
they return on 1/30 and 2/6 after that is two week break cuz of the Olypmics and returns 2/27/14 along with two new episodes in march (3/6/14, 3/13/14) then another two week hiatus with the return on 4/2/14 and repeat on 4/9/14. that all i got lol
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I guess I kind of side with Leonard. What happens if Penny can't get an acting job? How will she be able to afford her rent?
ReplyDeleteIsn't there a universal life hack that if you want another job, then start searching for it earnestly but NEVER quit the one you already have?
ReplyDelete....I think this show is conspiring to kill anyone who finds Kaley attractive.

ReplyDeleteApparently that doesn't refer to TBBT, unless you got it like that. And Penny clearly doesn't.

ReplyDeleteThat was my first question. "How's she going to pay her rent?" Maybe she's saved a ton of money by having the guys guy most of her meals?
ReplyDeleteShe could have looked for something like a night job (she knows how to tend bar) she can do her errands during the day...and still pay her rent.
It was a pleasant ep but not awesome. I did like the way that Leonard got himself out of the dog house at the end of the episode. Best bit was Sheldon agreement to discuss their (Leonard, Penny and Sheldon) relationship and where it was going.
ReplyDeleteIt's was a good episode, but they kinds oversold it in the promo.
ReplyDeleteAnd now we have two weeks of repeats.

ReplyDeleteI thought it was really funny, especially the scenes with Amy, Howard and Raj.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that something happen with Penny and Leonard because I think the relationship been kinda boring. But I was hoping something more in this ep.
ReplyDeleteNo sarcasm but you have great points about why she quit. I agree I want to see her make it as a successful actress.
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to see Amy interact with the rest of the group without Sheldon and it was so sweet of them to think of her and invite her to have lunch with them so she wouldn't be lonely without Sheldon and them helping her with Burt was hilarious

If they save that for the series finale (her big break)I will be royally pissed!

ReplyDeleteWasn't that funny or great! It is like on a loop with Penny and Leonard! Amy Raj and Howard saved the episode!
ReplyDeleteI wondered if they would do that. That's great!
ReplyDeleteYou know what i was expecting in the episode¿? Penny getting a job in Stuart Comic Book Store and getting bunch of clients! that should happen!
