POLL : What did you think of The Big Bang Theory - The Hesitation Ramification?

  1. I loved it. I thought it was pretty deep. I always enjoy Howard/Bernadette and even though they totally parodied When Harry Met Sally with that restaurant scene, i still found it funny (probably b/c WHMS is one of my favs). I also enjoyed Raj/Stuart's scenes. I do enjoy their bromance (but it'll never be more powerful than Raj/Howard). And Geez Leonard, you crashed and burned tonight. You just couldn't take your foot out of you mouth could you? And Penny!! Usually i would be happy about this. But she was totally drunk, and i don't really blame Leonard for hesitating. If i had a bf and he proposed while he was depressed, and drunk, i'd be saying "Umm" too! Actually i would say, Are you kidding me?? I mean how was Leonard suppose to know she was sincere about the whole thing?? I hope they can fix it. (in due time of course). I'd have to say my favorite scene of the entire episode was the last scene with Leonard/Sheldon. It's the most serious, compassionate, sensitive, i've ever seen Sheldon. And it was the sweetest thing. And i felt terrible for Leonard. (even though i agreed with him on half of it) Him just sitting there, drinking his tea, looking and feeling miserable. The only thing that ruined that moment for me (slightly) was the kick me sign. I think they should've left it the way it was. B/c that moment would've been perfect. (Personally, for me anyway).

  2. I don't feel even slightly bad for Penny. She's turned Leonard down multiple times and has even become annoyed when he gets upset over it. Now she gets to know what it feels like. Besides, never accept a drunken proposal.

  3. it was an awesome come back and they reach drama LVLS with all the Penny/Leonard Proposal thing i never thought Leonard would say no but i get why he said it Penny was drunk and once sober she probably would`ve reject that proposal so she being mad is not fair for Leonard tbh.
Sheldon knocked it out of the park today, once he is on to something there is nothing to stop him about it.
Bernadette`s Fake laugh OMG one of the best moments and the ending scene she killed it!
Raj and Stuart are a good team they are much like each other and make great things together it`s good to see Stuart getting more time on screen this season

  4. My favorite part of this episode was the serious moment with Leonard and Sheldon. That made me so happy. Sheldon is starting to show affection! Maybe there's something with him and Amy in the future :)

  5. I think if Penny had proposed under normal circumstances he would have accepted. But Penny has already drunkenly married a guy before so he probably knew it would be something that she might regret once she sobered up.

  6. The only part of the ep I had issues with was Stuart and Raj. I love the characters but they're playing the same note over and over again and I'm getting a little bored.

But I loved the rest of the ep. Beradette's laugh hysterically and stop...When Harry Met Sally moment was perfect.

And as much as I like Penny and Leonard as a couple...he was right to turn Penny down. Drunk and depressed is not the time for major life commitments. That proposal smacked of life sucks why the hell not.... yeah....that makes a person feel wanted.

Did anyone else read the vanity card? My first question was ... is he telling the truth? If he was then nice thing to do.

  7. If he were to say yes when she's drunk how would he know if she'd still feel the same sober - I reckon he did the right thing but didn't exactly go the right way about not saying yes at that moment.

  8. I don't really care for Raj anymore, his storylines are pretty much the same week after week.

  9. He was right to turn down her proposal but like most of the episode, he worded his intentions very poorly. I think she'll be relieved Leonard said no. In her current situation, getting married shouldn't be on her priority list.

  10. Melissa Rauch was on fire in this episode. And I also love that Stuart is getting more screentime. I just adore that guy.

  11. That was such a heartwarming scene. I can't help but feel the "Kick Me"-card kinda ruined the moment but is was great nonetheless.

  12. I'm getting really annoyed by these gay jokes with Raj. Just get him a damn girlfriend or give him proper storylines because watching his scarce dating life is getting tediously repetitive.

  13. Quite frankly, I hated her. I hope to never see her again on my screen.

  14. Owwwwww i loved her i though she made a good pair with Raj

  15. I didn't read the vanity card. What did it say?

  16. I don't think Leonard and Penny should marry, because they're wrong for each other. I'm hoping that's what Leonard was thinking at the end when he was wondering why he said no. I hope he's getting an inkling that, even though he's wished for it, marriage with Penny would be a mistake, and that's why he hesitated. Besides, she's drunk--which she often is.
The Harry Met Sally scene was hilarious, following Bernadette's admission that she fakes laughter at Howard's jokes. His comeback was perfect. This scene was the highlight of the episode, which was otherwise meh.

  21. Basically, he was apologizing to an actress named Lexie who would find herself in Penny's shoes with the airing of this episode. He states that in one of the early Raj and Stuart scenes Lexie's character walked up and asked them directions and they couldn't reply. Unfortunately the scene had to be cut for time. He wanted to take the opportunity to tell her and her family and friends that her performance was terrific and he was hoping for the opportunity to work with her again. He noted the parallel between Penny's story and Lexie's real life situation.

I looked at Chuck Lorre's website to see if I could find the link to the card but it doesn't appear to have been uploaded yet.

  25. Great episode and Leonard make a racional decision, I hope Penny still stay with him. Howard and Bernadette scenes was hilarious, Sheldon and Amy too. Raj and Stuart was awkward and funny.

The final scene with Howard make a audition for Star Wars 7 was legendary, I laugh a lot.
