The Neigbours: We are doing a lot to make sure people can watch The Nieghbours over the next six months. We wish it was doing better.
Lucky 7: It might have done better if we had aired it at 8 PM.
The Assets: ABC is still deciding how to show the remaining episodes.
Body of Proof: It was cancelled because “we didn’t think it would grow.”
Agents Carter: The script has come in!
Killer Women: We’re ending it slightly early because we want to give a launch to Mind Games, but we will air Killer Women up until Mind Games' new 2/25 premiere.
Suburgatory: We put back on Wednesday, we love it and it’s done really well there.
Once Upon A Time In Wonderland: I should have stuck to the earlier plan to put Wonderland on the air as a bridge between OUAT's two halves of the season. I take full responsibility for it not taking off the way I wanted it to. No decision on its future but we'll have to decide on it soon, though.
Once Upon A Time: The Wicked Witch of the West will be a big part of the back 9 episodes.
Trophy Wife: It needs to “raise its game” in terms of ratings if it is going to return for next season. It does have a chance of coming back and I want to see it back. could possibly move to Wednesdays next season.
Revenge: I only have praise for Revenge. It is a self-starter regardless of lead-in. It has a great final arc of the season planned. We have also talked a bit about what the next season will look like. The EPs are happy to be back at 10 PM, where they can take the handcuffs off and make it a 10 o’clock show.
Castle: It is one of the greatest assets on the network.
Modern Family: We are very proud of it. What traditionally happens is when the launch isn’t quite as noisy and it takes a while for the syndication bump to arrive. I expect it to happen next year.
Scandal: Scandal was "poster child" for audiences slowly finding shows via streaming. We are proud to have it.
The Goldbergs: It is a great show and could be on ABC for years to come.
Agents of SHIELD: It is the biggest male drama we have. I am so proud of how it has arc-ed out last 9 episodes; We'll find out who the Clairvoyant is by the end of the season and Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) will appear in Ep 15. I do admit that the show took some time to find "our sea legs.", but I think it picked up creatively when they started working more fully with our studio partners.
Paul Lee always seems so eternally optimistic it is kind of hard to know what these shows futures really are
ReplyDeleteNo, no. The show is confirmed to have 11 remaining episodes. He might have accidentally said back 9.
ReplyDeleteCastle: "It is one of the greatest asses on the network". True dat!
ReplyDeleteThe wicked witch character is a reoccuring character. He is saying she will only appear in 9 of the 11 episodes
ReplyDeleteLike I said, that could be a lip of tongue. He could have meant the second half of the season
ReplyDeleteModern Family: We are very proud of it. What traditionally happens is whenthe launch isn’t quite as noisy and it takes a while for the syndication bump to arrive. I expect it to happen next year.
ReplyDeleteCould someone please explain this to me?
When a starts airing on syndication, ratings are expected to increase on the original network as people who watch the show in syndication starting watching the new episodes of the show on the original network. Hence the ratings increase.
ReplyDeleteModern Family started airing in syndication, but it ratings haven't increased much, which he expects to happen next year.
Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteHappy for all the shows that I watch!
ReplyDeleteInteresting how he said Assets compared to the asset show being cancelled lol
ReplyDeleteBody of Proof: It was cancelled because “we didn’t think it would grow.”
ReplyDeleteDidn't Grow?? What the hell you call 3 seasons of the show then? lol
Castle: It is one of the greatest assets on the network. Now Mr. Lee, find the way to promote them for an Emmy!!
ReplyDeleteGlad that he has taken responsibility for screwing up Once Upon a Time in Wonderlands ratings.
ReplyDeleteNot sure Emmy voters go for a show like Castle...
ReplyDeleteIs he praising Revenge? O.O woowwww!!! awesome!!
ReplyDeleteOMG and they are also talking about next season!!! XD AMAZING!!!
He'll probably still get fired even with his "optimism".
ReplyDeleteGood for The Neigbors: at least it seems ABC has not already decided to axe it.
